Favourite Early 2000's Anime?
pixxelherz replied to AnimeTricks's topic in Recommendations & Reviews
Go for ElfenLied first. Then Samurai Champloo , Wolf's Rain and finally kick back and enjoy GITS: SOC plus 2.GIG afterwards. -
And I started another playthrough after about 15 years: I was a little surprised that I did not feel put off playing this again for all its grainy graphics. As a kid I awed at the real-guy-in-a-cartoon idea, which wasn't really new at the time but cool to have in a game. Now I wasn't quite sure about all the game mechanics anymore and I feared that it would have the one and only missing mechanic of not being able to skip the walking animations when you want to leave a room/go to the next room. The lack of this mechanic in any point-and-clicker puts me off most of the time. Silly, but true. But Toonstruck actually has it - a right-click instantaneously gets you into the next room - so pleasantly surprised I was, plus it got me motivated to actually stick with the playthrough. What's your recent nostalgia trip?

Mr. Sessions is definitely not a funny guy. FBIs have a stick up their behinds obviously. He should have said 'abuse' instead of 'use'.

You have no idea how much I agree! What cartoon is this again? It rings a bell but I can't think of it. @Nabull The 3 is an older model, no? I remember the first ones had this invite system going on. My next phone is probably going to be a oneplus. I have always liked the specs.

Favourite Early 2000's Anime?

and of course -
I'd like to see/know and maybe have a chat about the following: a screenshot of your smartphone homescreen what smartphone you are using (if you don't mind telling) the "story" behind your wallpaper if applicable the launcher app you are using any other app(s) you frequently use and think is worth recommending I'll kick this off with mine: The wallpaper I composed myself. Hinata is a redraw by rosecross I got from putting in a request on animebytes a while back. The actual source is a screenshot off of some ending credits from Naruto (Shippuuden). The backdrop I put in myself. I am not completely satisfied with it but lack the motivation at the moment to search for a better one. Just like with my launcher app I keep returning to this motif because I simply like Hinata but especially in this getup and pose >_< My phone is LG's G4 still. I am not replacing it anytime soon, this gadget is going to stay till it breaks irreparably. My current launcher app is Smart Launcher Pro 3. It was recommended to me by some reviewer, I tested it, bought it, and got stuck with it till this day. I tried other launchers in the past, yet smart launcher just does it for me. For my other apps I'd recommend: Scout - an offline navigation app that considerably saves me energy SafeInCloud - the password manager app I use with my Nextcloud server Authy - for my 2FA-needs That's it. I am looking forward to your (maybe not so elaborate) replies.

The user above me just stated a not so obvious fact.

The user above has a very grateful nature.

No worries, you can ask me anything. :-] I am not against cracks, with 1,99 a year, however, it did not even cross my mind to look for a way to avoid the fee. I buy software that I like and frequently use. This feels better in the long run, which is, of course, a highly personal matter. I do not condemn the person that uses cracked software ALL the time. If there really is, not a lot of use. Who uses an android based system for downloading the bigger releases? Do you?
-
True that.

They charge 1,99$ A YEAR...

I use JustProxy a chrome plug-in. Works fine with mega.

If you are new to anime do also check out myanimelist.net. You can register an account there and according to your watched list you'll get recommendations. It's pretty nice. Also, there is MAL updater. If you happen to watch your anime on a windows PC, it automatically updates your watch list each time you watched an episode. Very useful. My recommendation: Black Bullet

Nice specs, man. I'd justify this kind of money for your intention only, intensive gaming. I also own a i7 from way back, more than 5 years old and it's still sufficient. I do believe that this cpu will last you a long time. What monitor is this? I've had a 144hz asus 1080p monitor for quite some time now and would not want to go back to normal speced one. I have thought about upgrading it for a higher resolution. I'd be interested in what model you found.

Disturbing and creative at the same time. I hope we'll never become friends and you invite me over...

I made it myself. From the movie <harmony/>, Tuan Kirie. I captured the scene with ShareX (very useful piece of software) and edited it with ezgif.com. She is a read-head and you know what animated read-heads are, right?
-
How the hell did you keep track of that?! My last (two) animated movie(s)? Wait, have to check my history... Sky Blue, was not very enjoyable. I watched it dubbed. The second heart is my rating.
