  1. Ed, Edd N Eddy - The Thai PAL DVDs

    Alright, I did.
  2. Ed, Edd N Eddy - The Thai PAL DVDs

Sure thing. I guess there was something with KMPlayer because the aspect ratio came out different with VLC and when freeze framing there were less frames of this still, and the frames I had of this still differed in quality very slightly in KMPlayer, VLC stays the same with them. It might be an interlacing issue. I do know playing these Thai discs makes KMPlayer act off, spacebar for pause and start don't work and I have to manually click the play button and such. Figured it was my computer, but VLC works. Here's a comparison of the 2 versions of the still I get in KMPlayer, look at Eddy's head above his eye for the difference, the frames I get of the still in VLC are the exact same as the one I used for the first comparison above. Kind of confusing but I hope I got my point across. I'm not sure why the aspect ratio came out different, I have it under "Default" in VLC, that should make it the original size like with KMPlayer's setting, I'd think.

I have KMPlayer and took the screenshot by Capture - Frame: Original Size. I've had filters on before when I've done that and the screenshot result removes them, unless I do Capture - Frame: What You See which also saves the screenshot as however big I have the window. I think if a deinterlacing filter was on it wouldn't affect it in a screencap the way I did it. I've checked and don't think I had one on though.

It's probably just because I can't see the imperfections like I can up close on my laptop. I'm honestly not sure why I see it better on my TV, or think I do.

I compared my DVD to a screenshot icebox posted from toon.is, I think they're the same, at least with this episode/scene. That's either bad news or good news. The bad news would be that you potentially just rebought the same files with very little quality difference, (it being on DVD made it drop very slightly in quality), and the good news would be at least you have a physical copy. There might be other good things from this though, such as knowing that the toon.is source and the dvd source are the same.

Those came out pretty good, it's a shame about the text getting smudged, but the rest looks nice. Also that's pretty interesting about the toon site you mentioned, I don't think I ever saw it though. I always noticed that black line at the top of my discs when I'm watching it on my laptop, it's neat knowing other people have similar copies. Here's 2 screenshots from a 4th season disc. Still a slight black marking, I'm curious if these episodes were cropped a bit off the top or if it's due to one being traditionally made and the other being digital, because the 5th season has more of the black mark and an extra bit of scenery where the line isn't covering.

If you guys don't mind me posting them, I have 2 screenshots from the 5th season Thai DVD I have. They appear better on my TV than they do on my computer, I think.

I wouldn't want to undermine icebox's efforts. If something falls through or extra help is needed, I'll see what I can do. I still need to locate a few discs anyway.

I have 4 and 5, I believe. They're not TV rips. Season 4 is fine quality wise, but I think Season 5 looked pretty dang good. I've had them for a year or two now, if you guys want me to do something with them, I'll see what I can do. I remember the discs were kinda wonky and played weird on my laptop, some didn't play at all except for one random try.
  10. Chowder (720p Hulu Rips)

    I'd like this as well.
  11. Is Super Mario Maker Worth Buying?

Played it at my cousin's house recently, it wasn't bad. I'm a creative person and it was a great way to spend my time. Not enough games give the editing power anymore, so the whole purpose of it being that was pretty rad.
