Do you know what channel it was on?
I don't remember if it was Nick because I've already looked at the list of practically everything Nick did except for all of those shorts that didn't even get enough love to have a fan base. Otherwise I have no clue.

I've had about 32 in my day (counting things being re-done from closing up!).
The only things I still have are my nipples, 1-1/8 ear lobes, and a 5/8 septum, and my tongue is just open enough to still get something in there but I don't wear it often anymore. -
@DabDeity710
Any clues man? I'm going nuts! -
Guys.. I have been wracking my brain trying to remember an old cartoon I just had randomly pop in my head but I remember so little of it.
I can remember a kid that would always wear a hoodie or possibly a cloak with a hood, I think purple or some kind of maroon?
He had a friend that always wore a mask, I think.
He had a hideout that was inside the doghouse out back, and when he went in, it was massive, kind of like how Dexter's Lab was.
It was 2D animation and I think I remember it looking like the style of animation for the Wild Thornberries or Ahhh! Real Monsters.E: I forgot to specify that I THINK it aired in early 00's but I can't be positive. I also remember, somewhat, the supporting character calling the protagonist "Hoods" like it was his nickname.
I have looked at everything from Klasky and Csupo's production lists and I don't see it there so I'm REALLY hoping you fine folks can help me :3

Duel Monsters was the only one I liked. Obviously it was an anime geared toward children but I loved how Pegasus was eccentric and dark and crazy but they sort of made him pityable and lovable because he did it all out of desperation for his love. It's relatable.

Castle in the sky is enchanting. I've never enjoyed Lupin for some reason, although I can say that the film was done well. Basically anything they do is going to have to do with a return to the beautiful nature around us and I can relate to that. That's always been my favorite part about Mononoke and Totoro; the simple past, innocence and adventure in the untouched wilderness, and Mononoke with the "we are destroying the Earth and need to revert our shit" trope.
Personally, I didn't care for Porco Rosso but still, of course, respect it. I guess I just don't care for anime comedy aspects.
Anywho, watching all of it will not be a regret in any way. -

Since you like labeling people with songs here's one for ya @DabDeity710!
In all seriousness though I was listening to this album earlier today, and the thought actually crossed my mind that you might like this considering what you've expressed in this thread as of late. Taproot is a way of life

Yo that album is an underrated gem too....

This is coooool as custard! Nice to see Sunrise gets a executive position, whether that means they get any say or even if any of the original senior crew are still around is another thing. ITV has done quite a few decent programs/films over the years in the UK so hopefully they might do a good job. I just think they've got to get the original producer/director into a controlling role to try and avoid the usual blunders of westernising an anime series to live-action.
Since smoking in films/TV now is a no-no maybe Spike can vape? It's not the same without his mushed up, crooked & slightly damp cigarettes though
I would wash my hands of Anime if they made him vape dude

Welcome, welcome! I like your tracker. I have used it for about a year I believe.

I know I'm definitely in the least popular opinion but I just cannot bring myself to enjoy Naruto. I've tried to give it a chance for like 10 years, lol. I suppose I've never really gotten into many things revolving around Ninjas....and even when I was within the age demographic it was marketed for (shonen) I still didn't care for the manga.
Maybe if it's in some good hd I can try again. -
Have you gone into the BIOS (tap delete a few times when booting) to make sure it's not disabling the pci-e slot for some reason?
Edit: I found the manual for your mobo and it almost looks like the pcie slots might not have legacy support enabled by default. If that wireless card is not a supported device, it could be as simple as turning on the legacy support. -

That must be what all those viceland ads that say "just take a second to think about your breathing" mean lol. As silly as that sounds it kinda makes sense even to someone as green as me with this shit, so by simply acknowledging my frustrations I can weaken their power over me? Ima have to start trying that out. Also with the breathing thing is the counting my breaths supposed to be a distraction or a release of some sort or am I supposed to acknowledge something greater?
You're just basically conditioning yourself to notice things that you never do. You'll be able to discipline your mind to pay attention and thus you'll be more aware of when you're feeling whatever it is you're feeling. As you get better at it, you'll be able to notice more and more and then be able to curb those reactions. It can help with the depressed feelings, angry outbursts, etc. It's not really like suppressing your emotions and bottling them; I believe there's a time and place for everything. Anger should definitely be released in a healthy manner. It's just about being aware of yourself and in control and at as much peace as possible.
This is of course my take but I'm sure anyone would agree that the fundamentals are all there, no matter which way you go. Everyone can find their own thing that works and if it works for you to reach that calmness then you did it right!
Also, when I first began meditating, it helped IMMENSELY to find the quietest room possible, with as much uninterrupted time as I could muster. With children, this--of course--was very difficult! But it only proved to strengthen my resolve and test me, lol. I had to force myself to leave my phone out of the room, even though it worried me to risk missing an emergency call. I left the sound on loud so if there was an emergency and they called a couple times I could run to it.
Even if you can only do this for 2 minutes every day, you will see results so quickly if you commit to it.-

I've thought about that but I don't really kno where to go to learn about that
I'd suggest a very basic and simple start of just counting your breaths. Or simply verbally acknowledging your breaths in and out. The entire practice of meditation is (typically and mostly) about awareness. You basically just recognize and acknowledge that you're aware of whatever is going on around you, neutrally.
A little further down the road you could begin to visualize things that are hindering your patience and concentration like feelings of frustration or anger as clouds or maybe objects (what I do) that are sort of hovering around your bubble (consciousness) and you have to sort of shoo them away. I like to picture a sort of force field that represents my peaceful consciousness and there are little things hovering around too close that are interrupting the field. These little objects are actually craving attention and they want to be recognized before they'll leave. So I start verbalizing them as if the object's name is that feeling. Example: I'm mad at the time so there's a little dude hanging out too close to the field named Anger. I say his name out loud, irl, and in my little zen imagination he's like "thanks man that's all I needed" and he takes off.
it sounds silly but it works very well, especially if you're just starting out and don't have a lot of control over your mind and emotions yet.-

I just get really lonely and not going to school or having a job makes it extremely difficult to meet new people so I'm stuck with the losers who accept me. I know that's a shit excuse to keep shitty people around but I just can't help it, hopefully I can get stronger and find it in myself to can them all. Also if I were to cut ties it'd be for myself not to get my dad off my back.
not to get way too real or w/e but from a psychological point of view, you should completely stop using phrases like "I can't help it". It will literally cause you to fail, you will believe that you literally cannot help it, and (if you're prone to it) could lead to dissociative disorders if it were to get bad enough. That's a stretch of course but honestly even speaking that way can set you up for failure. There's literally power behind words we say. Just changing from saying "can't help it" to "don't want to help it" can not only empower you to make changes but can also help to enlighten you and bring awareness to thoughts/emotions you never realized were there. You could also start to realize why you make certain choices subconsciously simply by changing your own grammar.
TRUST ME! I've come a long way in my own fucked up struggle with suicidal depression.-

So I guess it's not advisable to watch Season 5 first, then backtrack to the previous four seasons as a first time viewer, right?

There was a movie premiere in California for the first three episodes, there was a q&a where he stated that he asked for ten episodes. He probably could have gotten more had he asked for more. I guess he thought ten was enough or maybe there was a time crunch for his next project.
Wow that's weird he would only ask for 10. Not that I would want a story with unnecessary filler but man they could've packed a lot more development and instilled more emotional value in Ashi and Jack.

At least, there's closure. And I was getting really bored by all the encounters with bounty hunters & Aku's demonic minions in the previous seasons. Season 5 otherwise has a clear direction in its plotline which made me excited for each next episode.
I totally agree. If anything it would've made more sense to have the seemingly pointless encounters in season 5 to support the "50 years of tortue" plot.-

I'm sure a lot of us feel that way, but maybe it was Adult Swim that told Genndy that Season 5 can only have 10 episodes, and it was a take it or leave it situation. I wouldn't know, but I'm guessing it went down someway like that.
I remember during the Q&A he did with his wife on the premiere he said some things that hinted (to me anyway) that Cartoon Network was unsure about a big enough following from back in the day to justify a longer season to finish the story finally.
Spoiler alert:
SpoilerAll in all, I thought it served to drive home Jack's intense desire to finish things. Regardless if they were being rushed to finish it in 10 episodes, Jack had been waiting 50+ years to finish it. He already knows his sword is stronger and capable of killing Aku so they didn't need to drag out the fight. Imagine being mentally and physically tortured for 50 years and finally (and very suddenly) being thrown back to finally end all of it? You wouldn't want to mess around.

What is your age and why are you still watching cartoons?

Will be 30 soon. Cartoons have always been a love of mine and my father's. A lot of our time we shared was watching cartoons so it's not only nostalgic but comforting.
