  1. So, If I want to burn some DVD9 ISOs I have to play in any old DVD player, does it matter whether I use DVD + or - R? Or are they only different in burning methods, and the same for playback?

I usually find a 100 pack of DVD-R for about $15 USD. While stores like Walmart and Best Buy sell the same pack for about $55. -_-

Where? I usually only buy name brand stuff since I don't keep ISOs after burning.

Usually Office Depot. As for brand, it differs: Philips, Memorex, Verbatim, etc... Just whatever they have cheap at the time. I use to use dvds for backing up things, but decided it was just as cheap and easier to swap out for better releases using lots of hard drives.
