  1. I actually used to watch quite a bit of anime when I was little, like pokemon, DBZ, cardcaptors, sailor moon, zoids etc.(back then I used to think of the as just cartoons, now I know better). I started watching mew mew power (on TV so I had no choice but to watch it dubbed) two years ago and when that finished, I got obsessed with it and in turn learnt lots about anime. I then decided to try reading manga so I got a couple out, one of those manga was school rumble which is insanely funny. I got every volume the library had then finished it online. I watched the anime and by doing that learnt of other interesting anime to watch and the rest is history.

  2. I hate how my parents ask me why I still watch "cartoons" all the time when in reality, if I watched most of those "cartoons" in the same room as them, they'd probably tell me to watch something less mature.

I agree, Anime and cartoons are different. Most cartoons are geared towards kids (except for south park and family guy) and have no actual storyline. You could miss one episode of a cartoon and it won't leave you confused. Whereas with anime when you miss an episode, there's a gap in the storyline and you're left not knowing why stuff happened. Both Anime and cartoons can make you laugh, but Anime seems to be more dramatic, emotional and complex than most cartoons.

  3. In almost every anime I watch there is always a perv who pays too much attention to a girl's chest size rather than her face (there is always some sort of joke regarding it)

the main character is staring into the distance with the wind blowing their hair around.
