  1. That's the root of the problem. I was downloading HD episodes so they were like 700MB each--and I was getting a bunch of them. So it waited for hours until all of it had downloaded through the onsite download manager system that you just described. I had left my computer on over night downloading the videos, and when I checked later there was nothing downloaded. Like I said, I checked my entire harddrive. I am aware of JDownloader, though I probably have an older version of it. I didn't realize it supported Mega though. You're right that it's probably a better option than megadownloader, although megadownloader can install as a chrome extension. In any case, I would advise recommending JDownloader or another acceptable download manager program to Kametsu users for downloading media from Mega--especially large HD resolution files.
  2. As professaX said it should save to your default directory. Which is normally called Downloads. Otherwise you should set your browser to ask you where to save a file every time you download something. This way things wont download on their own and you can choose where to save them. Alternatively just view your downloads list (ctrl + j in chrome ) which should show you the location. I looked in my downloads folder and none of the files could be found, I even searched my entire harddrive. Mega does not ask you where to save your files to, nor does it appear in Chrome's download list. Mega just starts downloading things in a download manager window thing at the bottom of the page. I have to use a program called Megadownloader (found at http://megadownloaderapp.blogspot.com/) to actually download the files.
  3. You know, it would help if someone would post a tutorial on how to download things from Mega. I wasted hours downloading some episodes last night and can't find the download location. Now I have to re-download things after I figure out how Mega works since there isn't even an explanation on the Mega site itself.
  4. Myself and a few others embarked on a project to collect/catalogue every mecha anime ever made. We compiled what I call the megalist--the list of all the aforementioned mecha anime organised by year of release. It goes from the birth of anime in the 1960s to today. It does need to be updated for content from 2013 on, but I digress. I started an offshoot of the original project in the form of a public wiki to serve as the catalogue side of the project. The megalist is already on the wiki, and I started adding articles on particular anime artists and mecha franchises. Some franchises already have wikis created by other people, and I've networked those with mine. You can check out Geronimo: The Mecha Anime Wiki, (including the megalist), here: http://mechaanime.wikia.com With the help of the other people that worked on the original project with me, I have acquired much of the anime on the megalist. Much of it is fansubbed, and a lot more simply do not exist in english yet, (sub or dub.) There are multiple fansub groups working on the older anime we've missed out on, so there's still hope! I will try to share some of our collection here as the rules allow. I would love to be able to archive a lot things that I have that are hard to find. My current internet bandwidth is too limited to share with many users at once directly. By all means reply, ask questions, and inquire about any mecha anime you've been longing for or unable to find!
