oopsies. thanks for that its fixed

the procoder installer I provided in the premium section comes precracked. and in that video you have to have an HD video source that sony vegas likes. in other words itd have to be something like wmv or mpeg2 before you start editing

This guide will cover how to edit HD amv's (or other High Definition source videos) on a pc or a mac. NECESSARY PROGRAMS: MKV toolnix - http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/win32/ MKV extract - http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVExtractGUI Procoder - http://forums.kametsu.com/showthread.php?p=96468#post96468 Sony Vegas - http://forums.kametsu.com/showthread.php?t=10708 MeGUI (optional) - http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/megui/megui-stable/0.3.5/MeGUI_0.3.5_x86_WithoutInstaller_OfflinePackage.zip?r=&ts=1293743548&use_mirror=iweb STEP 1 - If you have an HD video source, it's most likely an MKV (if you have an HD source in various other formats such as mpeg4 avc or mpeg2 skip to step 2) For an HD mkv file first you will need mkvextract. Download it here - http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVExtractGUI Run mkvextractgui.exe and select your mkv source. Check the video track (and other tracks if wanted), choose your output destination, and hit the extract button. Most likely you will have an h264 file when you are done extracting. That is what we want. STEP 2 - Now we need to convert the H264 format into a usable format. MAC - If you have a mac follow the steps to use quicktime to convert h264 to mp4 here. It is to my understanding that you can then proceed to edit the file with final cut which you can download from tpb. I have not tested this method, though as I do not have a mac. Windows - You'll need procoder. Download here (if you have access to the premium section). Just add your h264 file hit the target tab, hit add, HD, Mpeg, and the resolution you want. Then hit the convert tab and hit convert. In order to speed up the process disable the preview. The encoding will usually go 10-75% as fast as the video. This is with an H264, an mpeg4 avc takes much longer. This is all on my computer see specs here STEP 3 - Now You simply need to edit the video I recommend sony vegas 10 pro hd for windows users and final cut for mac. Download Sony Vegas here (if you have access to the premium section). Mac users will have to find final cut on their own. For sony vegas's output settings (When you have added your files and have finished editing) you have several output options. I recommend a Windows media or mpeg2 output setting. To set the settings go to project - render as... and select one of those two formats. Then hit custom and make sure the video is set to best and you have a good frame count and bitrate. You can check your audio settings as well. After you set all these settings you should render. This should take an hour or two (once again on my computer). The file should be pretty bulky but that's something you have to deal with. My 720p 4 minute amv rounded out to about 180mb. I experienced 0 quality loss. If there was any it was so unnoticeable that I, well, didn't notice. see resluting video I tested with here. STEP 4 (optional) - By now if you rendered in wmv or mpeg2 you probably have a pretty bulky filesize. If you want to cut down on that filesize yet keep the quality you are going to have to recompress to an x264 mkv file. You will need and mencoder gui for this which you can download here. Once you download megui you are going to need to create an avisynth script. On the menu choose tools then hit avs script creator. Choose your input video (the video you just rendered) and make sure your settings are as follows: 16:9 (1.777778) is your input dar, avisynth profile is scratchpad, and clever encoding is unchecked. If you want to crop black bars off the bottom and top of your video hit re-open original video player then hit auto crop. Choose your output location for your script and hit save. Your script will then load into megui. Choose your video destination and choose the x264 unrestricted for the encoder settings. Hit config. Depending on your setup these settings will vary. Slide the slider to the right if you want good quality and a larger filesize. Slide the slider to the left if you want speed and a small file size (less quality). the reccomended settings for quality is 18-26 if you want it perfect you can go down to 16 but I would stay in the 18-20 range (if you want it to look really good). If you know a lot about video encoding you can hit show advanced settings and mess with it, but for most users I would just hit ok then yes at this point. Hit enque and start to begin video encoding. Now you need your audio. Rather than reencoding your audio if you edited with sony vegas I would just go back to your project file, delete all the video and render out as a dolby digital ac3. DO NOT SAVE YOUR PROJECT FILE AFTER YOU HAVE DELETED THE VIDEO. After you have your audio and video simply merge them back together with mkvmerge in mkvtoolnix. You can choose a version here. That is my HD editing tutorial

Here's mine. It's rendered out in full 720p. I'll be uploading a compressed ipod version as well. I tested the 720p video on my 46 inch tv. No compression or pixelation whatsoever... awesome! Even with megaupload HD there is still some compression, as megaupload converts the file to flash. If you want to see it in full 720p you'll have to download it. download 720p version here - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6NLRZ66P download ipod (compressed) version here - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=28WO44FH This video is about the villian Pain. If you have not seen the later shippuden episodes this vid will contain spoilers. 720p version [megavideo]BTRID1EE[/megavideo] Compressed version [megavideo]JPZ51J2Y[/megavideo] Youtube compressed version xXN_3GfdKic the original encodes are Horriblesubs Here is a guide for editing HD content (specifically, MKV's) - http://forums.kametsu.com/showthread.php?p=96464#post96464

You're misunderstanding me. I don't use the argument as a hammer. I simply use it to reveal inconsistancies in a typical Athiest's viewpoint. It's not used to scare you into escaping a hell. In fact, I discourage that. But if you believe that your ultimate goal is to avoid pain, and ultimate pain is possible, even if in the least likely situation, then you should go to every length to avoid it. That is an Athiest form of logic and that would be consistent with an Athiest viewpoint. You can't just say that you avoid pain, when you aren't considering the most concerning possibility. That doesn't make sense.
-
every belief about anything is based upon faith. Shade recently spouted a bit of truth in a thread of mine, he said so no fact versus fiction claims Essentially where you take the first step determines what you believe. We believe based upon evidence. That is what determines our faith. Some people put faith in Science, or their brains. So I ask them, what if your mind fails you, or what if you don't exist at all. Can you prove that? I believe it's nonsensical to put faith in something that doesn't exist or something that explains characteristics of something that doesn't exist. Therefore I choose a belief that legitimizes my own existence, gives my life meaning, gives the world order, and makes the most sense (to me) due to the evidence.
-
So if man will go to such great lengths to avoid pain, then why not look at it in every sense. If there is possibly eternal pain waiting for him after his death, shouldn't he go to any length to avoid it? It is not consistent to say that man avoids pain whenever possible, and he ends up with pain forever. That is the exact opposite. So in order to truly avoid pain one needs to strongly consider this outcome.

How can you believe you exist if you don't exist. Prove you exist first, then your argument will be valid. As for others calling you by name, prove they exist first and your argument is possible. If you don't exist then none of what you're feeling exists. The best thing to do is either find a way to prove you exist, so you can enjoy those things with legitimacy, or live your life without knowing anything. If there's no way to prove it, why accept it? I hear this line of logic all too often. Also, if there is no life after death then everything you do is meaningless. You come and go and people will forget you. Your experiences were brief, fleeting, and pointless, only seeking to forget the inevitable. If there is a life after death and it is better then here, then it's the only thing that matters. Every inferior experience should be set aside for that goal.
-
lol. What you said makes no sense. Your answer to the question can you prove your own existence is that you exist. Also that since others exist you exist? What if everything you see is an illusion? And in both statements you said something exists without any evidence. How do you know?
-
how is the rule true for most people but not all people? What defines a sociopath? What if I'm not a sociopath and I just have different morals then you? What if I was simply raised to sacrifice children to Molech? Why is that wrong? What if my ultimate goal is to sacrifice myself?

It was never my intention to shove anything down your throat, and to my belief I was having a discussion with siera when you asked me as to my religious persuasion. Also, when I'm discussing something I'm not saying YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THIS. I'm just trying to get you to think. It's not because I want to "Christianize" you, It's just if I don't tell you at all, and I truly believe in a Hell, what kind of an asshole am I that I didn't tell you. No one should have to suffer like that, and I believe you are no exception. Your intention for asking the question, how does God exist, I believe, was to make me think and question my beliefs, which is good. The more thought over and tested an idea is, the better, and I'm trying to do the same with others, get them to think as you made me think. I also believe you're taking your examples out of context. I don't deny such things being in the Bible, but they are used to emphasize the brokenness of man. Christianity is not a religion of "being good enough" because people mess up all the time. It is a religion of redemption. So if we seem hypocrytical, it's because we are. I am one of the most messed up people you can imagine. I'm sure you can vouch for that one, seeing as how I've hurt you, Mae, in the recent past. However, Christians are not meant to be apathetic. If you're really that interested you could read Romans 6, but I doubt you are at this point (on that side note) I've known Christians that have committed suicide because of persecution. Yes, I know Christians seem to be the majority and you've had bad experiences in the past, but you can't blame a belief for people that force others into religion. Just because you're a christian doesn't mean you have to twist other people's arms into believing. If they don't want to believe, then they won't. Another example is China. Christians aren't allowed to practice their faith in China and thousands die, or are arrested because of it. P.S. Who said everything has a maker? I didn't. I said God rationalizes his own existence because he is infinite and eternal. So it is logically correct to say an eternal being has always existed. I'm basically saying it is logically possible for him to exist, but I did not prove it. In fact, I basically said he is because he is and went on to give clues for his existence which was what the big monologue was about lol.
-
He rationalizes his own existence. He is, in itself, a circular argument, as he is eternal, therefore he has always existed. Inversely, we can tell of his attributes from his creation. Like I said he is a circular argument in and of himself. To believe in him is to take a step of faith, there is no denying. However, every other worldview is based on faith, including atheism (despite their denial of this claim) One example is that atheism assumes existence and I've found that a Christian God (as his own circular argument) is the only justification for my existence. Without proof of existence how can you choose a worldview? How do you know what your "Science" is testing is really testable? Another example is that science can't prove where matter came from originally. Just keep asking "where did that come from" to a scientist and they'll eventually say I don't know. Thirdly, I hate it when people say "Science will prove it someday" in response to these questions. I am not opposed to Science (I'm just using atheism/naturalism as an example btw). In fact, I think Science supports religion. But there was my monologue about faith and the rationalization of existence vs an atheistic worldview. On a side note, I know what you're saying, but it goes both ways. There are Christians that sit in science classes everyday being told they're idiots. To be an agnostic, I think, is the worst spot to be in, because then you're pressured by everyone and it makes you reject most worldviews as a result of that pressure.
-
And what makes how I execute those means right or wrong. Perceived as wrong? It's right because I think it's right, remember? If we're all staying consistent in our relativism there's nothing wrong with me killing you or anyone else, because I think it sounds good.
-
I didn't call you an atheist I called you an agnostic. I was simply referring to the view of Hell you described and how I only mention that view as a tool in atheist discussions. And read the post however many times you like:)
-
But then if I see the means of creating the perfect race a worthy goal, then is it right? I agree with you that legal fights can be petty. However, if society says its morally good to kill yourself, you'd do it, right? The fact is society changes and is very fickle. Will you endorse the morals of tomorrow even if they are completely contradictory to ours, today? If society says so it's right...
-
I agree with you in the regard that if someone tries to make you believe something it won't work. You will ultimately choose what you want to no matter what. However if you read the second half of my previous post/watch the video I linked to, Christians can't not evangelize at all it would be the most heartless thing ever, and I'm sure some agnostics might agree. The problem with doing whatever you deem is right, however, is that everything becomes right. If you wanna go slaughter some other race, be my guest because morals are then subjective. On the matter of hell, it is a terrifying prospect that sometimes we take lightly, but if that is your motivating factor then you're only looking after yourself which misses the point. Now I use pascal's wager (see previous post) in atheist discussions because it shows that even if you look at it from an atheist's perspective it is more beneficial to believe in a hell, in light of one's own best interests. This, however, is simply meant to break down the atheist's line of thinking not provide a basis of faith. Pursuing faith out of one's personal interests isn't the right way to go about it and I discourage thinking of Hell in this way, other than to simply reveal inconsistancies in athiest arguments. (if you want an example of this read the discussion of me and clockwork here) Also, if you see the spun around world as you described as limiting of your freedom, then you are right. If you HAD to choose a religion then you would have no freedom. All religion says is you can have your independance here, but you'll be missing out for the more significant part. Anyone trying to shove it down your throat is either doing it out of ill intentions (most of the time) or because they care for you so much they don't want to see you miss out. However, it seems you'd prefer what you see as independance. All I try to do is to make people think about what they believe because so many people think that atheism gives them a free ride on the "fact train", which could not be more false. As for an agnostic, such as yourself, thinking about these things is vitally important, because it may reveal the truth you have yet to find, whatever that may be.\ Yes. Why? Did I win a free gift card?
-
don't you think it would be a little late to find out when you die? if you're met with unimaginable pain and suffering don't you think you'll regret not caring? And if you have a Bible that says you have to "be a good person" then you don't have a Bible at all. That is not what it's about. It's not something you work at and is not like school. And Heaven will be much better than reliving this life, trust me. I know what you're saying, but I'll quote myself here, "The Christian ethic, in this regard, is best illustrated by the athiest comedian Penn Gillete. You can watch his video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa9JE...eature=related As a summary, if you don't want to watch it, what Penn basically concludes is that, "How much do you have to hate someone to believe that everlasting life is possible and not tell them. If I believed that a truck was coming at you there would be a certain point when I would tackle you and this is more important than that." Even coming from your perspective of doing whatever you feel like (which I agree applies to Christians as well, we do whatever we like we just call what we do that is outside of God's character sin, either way you do whatever you like however if you are a Christian God's work will be evident in your actions) if all that matters is your own personal pleasure than if there is an eternity, then it is in your personal interest to care as well to secure the outcome."
-
the complexity of an illusion doesn't prove it isn't an illusion. just because you think you exist doesn't mean you do. Unless you prove you exist you have no foundation of truth. You need to question your own existence to find the source of truth. You can't know unless you prove your existence and truth has its implications. you're fine In order for a mental self to exist, there needs to be a mind. Can you prove that exists?

[response removed due to the claim of idiocy]
-
if morals are crafted then couldn't I decide to craft my own set of morals that go completely against the interests of yours? It's a dog eat dog world isn't it? That's what I see as a basis in our culture, so if we're gonna talk about social contracts, that doesn't work so well when everyone is trying to get what they want. It leads to struggles and wars. Based on this system mankind can never know peace, because man is flawed. In a perfect world the system could work. But not here.
-
does that mean that science is based on faith, then? If science can't even prove that we exist can it prove anything? We still have also yet to think of any situations in which we can know without presupposing our own existence .
-
I put siera in the lead again hehe the constant tying is ridiculous
-
But how did you come up with that? You can't really know if you're thinking unless you prove you have a mind and you can't prove that you have a mind through thinking because if it doesn't exist whatever you come up with won't matter anyway. Until you prove you have a mind you can't formulate a rational argument to support your argument because rational arguments are all mentally based. Therefore, in order to know truth and prove your own existence there needs to be some kind of preexisting truth to build from, right? What do you guys see in that argument? Flaws? Truths? I'm interested to see what you guys come up with.

wow this is depressing...

when I tried to hackint0sh my computer the first time, it reformatted the entire hard disk and my external hard drive all at the same time even though I told it to use a specific partition I had created. My computer was worthless for two weeks until I managed to reinstall an operating system. Still don't know why it formatted everything possible.
