  1. Koby hit the nail on the head. Supergirl had a slow start to the 1st season and got better and stronger from episode 7 to the end of the 1st season. In addition to Koby's comments, Supergirl's acting was like watching a teenage girl throwing a tantrum about not getting her way. It was cringeworthy at best. The writing and acting went downhill. I'm hoping they have grown out of their BS propaganda and move forward to give us better writing and storylines without injecting their agenda driven crap, because the show has its merits and could be a great show with all the characters they have introduced.
  2. Flash is a fun show to watch. When I first discovered it, I was only going to watch one "superhero" show just for the fun of it. But after start watching the 4th episode and it showed "previously on the Flash" and what it showed was not on the last 3 episodes, I had to do some research and discovered it came as a spin off from Arrow. So off to start watching Arrow from the beginning. Wow, what a ride! 5 years later and I have 4 superhero shows that I'm watching - Arrow, The Flash, Legends and Supergirl. Each show has its high points and low points. Arrow season 1 and 2 knocked it out of the park, but season 3 and 4 lost its way but recovered when it went back to its roots in season 5. The Flash has just been a fun ride through all 3 seasons. Legends started out ok, but the overall story line has some issues which ended each season weak. I still enjoy the show , but they had best bring in better writers. I'm a stickler for time travel writing done well. And Legends has not figured the formula yet. You want good time travel shows, go watch Doctor Who, Continuum and 12 Monkeys. Supergirl started out slow and found its own by the 7th episode and got better and stronger all the way through the end of the first season. Season 2 was weaker, the writing was getting worse and so was the acting. It was like watching old episodes of the Adam West Batman. It was almost insulting the way Supergirl acted. She's a late twenty something acting like a teenage girl that can't have her way. Very hard to watch a character like that. But season 2 did have its moments. Here's to hoping they bring in better writing and have the actors "grow up" with their delivery.
  3. Ditto what everyone said above. The first time Disney aired a sneak peak short called Creature in the Closet. That got my interests peaked and I recognized Jason Ritter's voice for Dipper. Then they aired a preview for the 2nd episode the old guy asks the children "Now who wants to put on some blindfolds and get into my car?!" I had to do a double take at the TV. I was like WTF is this show? Child abduction? No thanks. It wasn't until you watched the episode that you understood the context of the quote, a definite shot at dark humor in a kids show. And their is plenty of witty humor, great writing, great story lines. Everything clicks together. I watched the entire show with my daughters from start to finish and then found the extras on the web. Dippers Guide to the Unexplained were seriously funny! Watch the background for extra characters that seem to randomly appear or do they?
  4. I had to pass up watching the series early on due to time and timing as I watch them with my daughters. I did take my daughters to the movie shortly after it premiered, but we slowly started watching the episodes from the start about 5 years ago and just started season 4. Season 3 had some great action sequences and season 4 action for just the first few episodes is slam packed. The animators were working overtime on the battles. Will be good to finish watching them all, so it can fill in the blanks for the Rebels show which we have watched all of them. Rebels Season 4 starts this fall.
  5. Zombie Island was the best for the movies. If I'm wrong correct me, but it was the first time that they attempted to unmask the creature and it wasn't a person under a mask.
  6. Guardians of the Galaxy Kim Possible Ben 10 (original) Star Wars The Clone Wars Archer
  7. Batman The Killing Joke. I was not impressed. I was expecting more along the lines of the Graphic Novel from the late 80s.
  8. So Robotech is a Macross retooled stand alone version with dub, correct? And the above list is the original version?
  9. What is the exact viewing order of the Robotech/Macross complete series, including movies and the versions that are not part of the canon. I've heard many different iterations over the years and was hoping the Kametsu community had a definitive answer.
  10. Is this the complete list of Robotech/Macross? What should be the exact viewing order?
  11. No wonder I could no longer see the section....guess I have some meaningful posts to make.
  12. Hi, I'm new to the community. I have been a fan of anime and cartoons for many years including Star Blazers/Space Battleship Yamato, G-Force/Gatchaman, Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls.
