What's a cartoon you gave up on watching?

The big shows off the top of my head would be The Simpsons and Family Guy. It isn't that I dislike them. I just got bored with them. I will check out the odd episode here & there but not on a regular basis.

    Doctor Who

As a long time Doctor Who fan (since the early 80s), I can't wait for Jodie Whittaker's turn as the 13th Doctor. Bring on new Doctor Who!

  5. Very cool! I'll have to keep my eyes open for this.

    Underrated Animated Films

My picks for underrated animated films would include: Watership Down (1978), Rankin and Bass's The Hobbit (1977), Ralph Bakshi's American Pop (1981), Nelvana's Rock and Rule (1983), and Heavy Metal (1981). I'm sure I'm forgetting a few.

How did you guys found kametsu?

Probably via a Google search for some cartoon but that was some time ago (4 years ago) so the memory is a bit hazy.
  8. Can't say I was a fan of the original Filmation series but I might check this out.

    Who likes Rock Music?

And just to add, I'm partial to several Japanese rock groups/bands such as Anzenchitai (pop/rock band from the 80s), The Alfee (another pop/rock band from the 80s), Cubismo Grafico Five (pop/rock with a nice ska influence), Kinoko Hoteru, Love Psychedelic Orchestra, Mr. Children, Royal Fingers (surf guitar rock), Scandal, Shiina Ringo, Takeshi Terauchi and the Bunnys (surf rock with a touch of traditional Japanese), to name a few (I'm sure I have forgot a few names).

    Who likes Rock Music?

I like many genres of music. These days I'm more into soul, and funk but when the mood hits me, I dig some rock. Granite and limestome are probably the best. Sorry, wrong rock. I can always listen to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, the Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Love and Rockets, Rage Against the Machine, Monster Magnet, and so on. I'm also a fan of Alternative Rock like Sonic Youth, Pavement, Erics Trip, PJ Harvey, L7, Jane's Addiction, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, to name a few.

Rampage. As much as I like the Rock, man, that movie was a stinker.

What got you into anime, and kept you there?

As a kid, I watched Battle of the Planets (an Americanized version of Gatchaman), Cat's Eye (I watched a French dub), and Robotech (mainly the Macross saga). Then I was introduced to Lupin III (Castle of Cagliostro), Ranma 1/2, Phantom Quest Corps, Akira, and Bubblegum Crisis. I was hooked. Since then I've been a connoiseur of many titles, such as Lupin III, Space Adventure Cobra, Cowboy Bebop, Combattler V, and pretty much anything by Hayao Miyazaki.
  15. My fav cartoons from the 2000s would be Jackie Chan Adventures, Samurai Jack, Codename: Kids Next Door, Martin Mystery, Danny Phantom, Justice League Unlimited, and Batman: Brave and the Bold.
