  1. I downloaded the first episode about 4 days ago, and I turned it off when she started singing while walking (after leaving her house). I will definitely watch it, but I wasn't really interested in watching it at the time (it didn't make it hard for me to not turn it off, though).

  2. I like anime with 13-26 episodes the most. However I do like some longer anime from time to time, such as FMA (and Brotherhood), Death Note, Fairy Tail and Soul Eater. Blood+ on the other hand, I felt that could have been cut short to about the same amount of episodes as Death Note, and felt it dragged on a bit (as much as I hate to say it because I thought it was great).

  3. no its not .... learning a language because its interesting is far better than learning it just to watch the raw/sub anime

What's close-minded about it is you saying, "one more language to add in your BioData when you try to get a job".

I do agree with you about learning something because it's interesting rather than learning to understand anime with Japanese audio. However, people have their own reasons to learn a language and it really shouldn't matter to you anyway. It only matters to the person that wants to learn a language, regardless of why they want to.

  4. If I was going to download DBZ, I personally wouldn't go with the Remastered Edition. They are supposedly better quality, however I was quite disappointed with the releases. They wanted to make it widescreen and so they cut some of the top and bottom of the video, so you are missing some of the show, most of the time characters heads are cut and looks weird.

I would definitely download the best quality of the regular DBZ. I heard the Dragon Box Edition is great, but I haven't seen it and can't judge for myself. As I understand, the background music is the original Japanese, and not the one made by Bruce Faulconer, but as I said, I haven't seen it and I'm not sure if that's true.

Anyway, the Remastered Edition is almost the same, but I would definitely go with the regular or Dragon Box.

    Hope that helps you.

    Edit:

After reading over my post it looks like I really don't like the Remastered, which isn't true. When I said that they cut some video from the top and bottom, it means it isn't true widescreen, and is only 1-2 cm's of it. It only gets really annoying at some times (though, that could be I have seen it before the remastered and was used to it a different way).

  5. 07-Ghost

    7/10

This was an enjoyable show. I thought the characters were good, especially Castor, Frau and Hakuren. The action was pretty good, it wasn't excessive. However I thought the anime was very slow at times.

I would welcome a second season as they left an open ending and would definitely watch it.

  6. My japanese studies (self study) also came with the idea to visit japan, but was mostly inspired by anime. havent done any studing in months. hopefully ill get back to it soon.

The hardest part with self-teaching is sticking with it. The bad thing about self studying is that it is too easy to just stop, you need to make up a schedule (only if it is an hour or two per week). You will be more likely to stick with it if you see it on paper and see that it is time to study. Remember, use it or lose it.
