To me, Max Steel in the 90s was one of those shows that should have waited for better graphics to kick in. I mean, we can have good ideas and good intentions, but image can be just as big a part of execution in modern media as story. Not to the detriment of the story, of course, but a good script can be undone by a) bad voice acting, and bad animation. Luckily, this was one of those shows that needed a reboot and got it.
