For me it depends on the kid AND the martial art.
If you have a kid that wants to learn things like Jiu Jitsu/Kickboxing (yes list) then yeah, have at it. However if he or she wants to learn things like Kung Fu/Ninjitsu (no list) and other ancient techniques that cause more severity than others then definately not.
Yes list - Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Karate, Boxing, Judo, Aikido, Taekwondo, Tai Chi (Waterbending form)
No list - Krav Maga, Jeet Kune Do, Goshinkwai, N. Shaolin (Firebending form), Qi Gong, Dim Mak, Wushu, Eskrima, Systema, Keysi Fighting Style, Savate, Ninjitsu, Kendo, Kali, Kung Fu, Shaolin , Kenpo, Ba Gua (Airbending form), Hung Gar (Earthbending form)
In all, the versions of Kung Fu, Military styles and Ninjitsu are the ones I'd prevent my kid from doing the most until the right age/maturity.

I was a really good swimmer but I stopped when I moved houses. After seeing this I kind of want to start again though but using a harder training method.

Water and Metal bender for me

Vegeta and Future Trunks. I also thought Mystic Gohan fighting Buu was totally a badass,

It's an awkward question, it's already been said that the human version of Bruce Banner tried to kill himself and the 'Hulk' wouldn't let him die and Hulk also seems to get stronger the more determined he is not to mention his fast regeneration cells. Now to Broly, yeah he was born with a super high power capable of withstanding an exploding planet but his transformation uses up energy - probably alot too even though he seems to get stronger against stronger opponents as the fight goes on.
I'd like to edge it to Hulk but I think the fight would eventually go to Broly simply because he's a Saiyan and they're so damn durable on top of their strength level.

It's an awesome show at times but give me Person of Interest, Supernatural or The Originals anytime. I do miss Heroes though while the topics on superheroes, that was an epic show for anyone who missed it, was a bit like Alphas but 10x better.
Here's trailer for Heroes if anyones interested in seeing it on Netflix or w/e.

Been watching this since the pilot episode and I'm lovin it. A couple more good shows if nobody's onto them yet are Intelligence, The Blacklist aswell as the upcoming season of Game of Thrones and Gotham series.
-
This, I cannot wait to see.
-
I've seen all of the episodes for Star Wars The Clone Wars already but I'm desperately awaiting the last season to come on Netflix in a few weeks. Debating whether to watch Kid Muscle or XMen Evolution too at some point both great shows.
-
For me it depends on the anime. Dubbed I much preferred things like DBZ/DB but subbed Bleach has much better voice actors for the show, its just a shame Yamamoto's actor died a couple weeks back.
Any good real live TV-Shows?

If you liked Arrow I'm sure you'll enjoy watching The Flash as that'll also have Steven Amell (Arrow) guest starring in it now and then. However some good shows like you asked that I found great:
Game of Thrones
The 100
True Blood
Beauty & the Beast
Once Upon a Time
Chicago Fire & PD
Heroes
Person of Interest
Strike Back
Supernatural
The Blacklist
