  2. Thank you very much @JohnFlower worked perfectly.
  3. Recently my desktop hard drive crashed and got corrupted now it no longer boots up and I get the error no bootable device detected. The error code is 2000:0142. Anyways I am trying to figure out a way to retrieve and transfer the data to my WD external hard drive. Does anyone know of any software that will get the job done? Because my computer no longer boots up it has to work using a bootable disc. At the very least maybe some sort of program that will allow me see whats on the drive so I know what I will need to replace. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  4. All the animes I watched as a kid Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Gundam Wing. Dragon Ball. I'll just chalk up this comment to a spelling error. If you don't like One Piece I'd like to hear what animes you do like. Go and watch some more Pedo Anime And I agree Guillermo31, shows like Narutarded Shitpooden, Blech, Fairy Fail, Faggonball Z are not for kids Same as above Fairy Tail has amazing story telling but the fight scenes leave a lot to be desired. The other 3 are the reverse.
  5. Based on a lot of trial and error and comparisons to what encoding settings others use I chose to use these settings for my encodes. But to each his or her own. Hope this helps. 480p Video ID : 1 Format : AVC Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec Format profile : High 10@L3.1 Format settings, CABAC : Yes Format settings, ReFrames : 8 frames Codec ID : V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC Duration : 23mn 21s Bit rate : 1 925 Kbps Width : 640 pixels Height : 480 pixels Display aspect ratio : 4:3 Frame rate mode : Constant Frame rate : 23.976 fps Color space : YUV Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0 Bit depth : 10 bits Scan type : Progressive Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.261 Stream size : 322 MiB (63%) Title : Neon Genesis Evangelion Episode 01 Angel Attack Writing library : x264 core 138 r2358 9e941d1 Encoding settings : cabac=1 / ref=8 / deblock=1:0:0 / analyse=0x3:0x133 / me=umh / subme=11 / psy=1 / psy_rd=1.00:0.00 / mixed_ref=1 / me_range=24 / chroma_me=1 / trellis=2 / 8x8dct=1 / cqm=0 / deadzone=21,11 / fast_pskip=0 / chroma_qp_offset=-2 / threads=6 / lookahead_threads=1 / sliced_threads=0 / nr=0 / decimate=1 / interlaced=0 / bluray_compat=0 / constrained_intra=0 / bframes=5 / b_pyramid=2 / b_adapt=2 / b_bias=0 / direct=3 / weightb=1 / open_gop=0 / weightp=2 / keyint=240 / keyint_min=23 / scenecut=40 / intra_refresh=0 / rc_lookahead=60 / rc=crf / mbtree=1 / crf=18.0 / qcomp=0.60 / qpmin=0 / qpmax=81 / qpstep=4 / vbv_maxrate=17500 / vbv_bufsize=17500 / crf_max=0.0 / nal_hrd=none / ip_ratio=1.40 / aq=1:1.00 720p Video ID : 1 Format : AVC Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec Format profile : High 10@L4.0 Format settings, CABAC : Yes Format settings, ReFrames : 8 frames Codec ID : V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC Duration : 2h 8mn Bit rate : 2 738 Kbps Width : 1 280 pixels Height : 720 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate mode : Constant Frame rate : 23.976 fps Color space : YUV Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0 Bit depth : 10 bits Scan type : Progressive Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.124 Stream size : 2.45 GiB (70%) Title : Galaxy Express 999 Movie Bonjour Writing library : x264 core 138 r2358 9e941d1 Encoding settings : cabac=1 / ref=8 / deblock=1:0:0 / analyse=0x3:0x133 / me=umh / subme=11 / psy=1 / psy_rd=1.00:0.00 / mixed_ref=1 / me_range=24 / chroma_me=1 / trellis=2 / 8x8dct=1 / cqm=0 / deadzone=21,11 / fast_pskip=0 / chroma_qp_offset=-2 / threads=6 / lookahead_threads=1 / sliced_threads=0 / nr=0 / decimate=1 / interlaced=0 / bluray_compat=0 / constrained_intra=0 / bframes=5 / b_pyramid=2 / b_adapt=2 / b_bias=0 / direct=3 / weightb=1 / open_gop=0 / weightp=2 / keyint=240 / keyint_min=23 / scenecut=40 / intra_refresh=0 / rc_lookahead=60 / rc=crf / mbtree=1 / crf=18.0 / qcomp=0.60 / qpmin=0 / qpmax=81 / qpstep=4 / vbv_maxrate=25000 / vbv_bufsize=31250 / crf_max=0.0 / nal_hrd=none / ip_ratio=1.40 / aq=1:1.00 Also be sure to crop properly and not just resize. For example in these screenshots look closely at the sides you will see black bars. They can appear on all sides of the video and sometimes change during the opening, middle and ending.
  6. If I did 1080p video I probably would. But I encode everything at 720p to save hard drive space so I usually re-encode the audio to 640kbps AC3 or keep the Original 448kps AC3. I want dual-audio blu-rays for three reasons. 01 My family members only watch the dub 02 So I can watch the subs 03 I'm learning Japanese so eventually I will be able to watch without subs
  7. Manga or anime? Bleach was amazing during it's main arcs. But the filler arcs killed it. The only things that really me bug about it is. Lack of Character development for Sado and Inoue, Ichigo basically being everything at once and the Captains refusing to unleash their bankai's. For the Bleach manga to be honest I could not care less what happens next it has jumped the shark too many times. Naruto Shippuden is the same. Amazing during it's main arcs and the filler had it's moments. In the manga two things really bothered me the whole Kaguya appearing out of nowhere and Naruto not pawning Sasuke. Naruto was a much stronger ninja at that point and should have been able to beat Sasuke hands tied behind his back. The fact that it ended in a draw pisses me off to no end. Last but not least One Piece... nope One Piece is flawless.
  8. I agree subs are a pain the only reason I have failed to upload anything new is I don't have the time to OCR or retime new subs.
  9. I have been encoding a lot lately, mostly U.S. Blu-rays. So I was curious to know what others have been working on or planning on working on. Anyways here is list of things I have either finished encoding or plan on encoding in the future. 10. I know that's what got me so I didn't check the ED. Some animes have it and some don't I don't know why. But in order to make sure I crop right I have to check the OP middle and ED. And it's not always the same, it changes because the OP or ED also changes. Its also in FLCL screenshot posted above.
  11. I personally prefer the Bandai Ent. typeface to the Funimation one, in the ED at least. https://twitter.com/ozcanime/status/293183795123855360/photo/1 The opening credits are fine for me either way, however the new font doesn't at all reflect the ending's serious tone. (above) Funimation DVD, (below) OZC's Bandai credits I would never have noticed that. Interesting. Also random thought in your screenshots did you notice the black on the sides? I always have to look carefully to make make sure I crop those out when encoding. I'm super pissed at myself for not noticing until episode 21.
  12. Did noone except me encode the new U.S Bluray? I thought someone would have jumped on that as soon as it was released. At 960x720 CRF 18 10bit it's about 19gb. 24gb with the movie included Too large for me to upload at the the moment,
  13. and an image of Daryl holding Beth . A lot of things this episode just feel like they came out of no where and didn't make much sense. The stupid preacher sneaking out to go to the school just to lead a zombie mob right back to the church, Beth going up to the woman and attempting whatever the hell it was she thought she needed to do... It just felt stupid and it's a shame. If you don't want to be spoiled stay off the internet. It's the simple truth. Especially if you live on the West Coast or other. I just skipped past the preachers scenes. Beth I think just wanted to hurt Dawn as a farewell gift I don't think she was going for a kill as it looked like she was going for the shoulder. If she wanted to kill her she probably would have went for her throat. But no there was dozen different ways things could have played out where no one got hurt. The simplest being um no you can't have Noah the handoff is over we have are people you have no more leverage we're leaving and you can't stop us.
  14. If you know Maggie's comic storyline you knew what was going to happen this episode. But still...
  15. "Nice to see you again Twinkle Toes." Toph
