Anyone here use uloz.to or ulozto.net? It's one of my last resorts for files and now the uloz.to addy gives me a connection time out and the troubleshooter tells me "windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings". The .net works fine but the captcha box is blank and it won't work with JD2 like it used to.
Wondering is anyone else has had probs with them in the last week or so.
If you're looking for something, uloz is like the A Team, when no one else can help they might have it, just make sure it's in your preferred language.-
You know what, I actually have been to uloz.to while browsing for certain things on google, and I did get to download files straight off it without having to create an account. It's good for a last resort, but only when it's hard to find things. So I've never had problems with it.

Yea same, never came across any problems as of late. They're also quite generous with their quota and speeds, but I see some debrid services can't offer full bandwidth for them, but it's understandable.

I never had a problem with them until recently. I was getting some larger files, loaded them to JD2 for later downloading and when I tried to start them I got "hoster offline" went to the uloz.to addy and got the connection time out, figured they were having problems, after looking around found the ulozto.net site and thought they had changed addys and were in the midst of getting bugs sorted, contacted them and they had no idea either.
Was hoping someone had run into the same problem here and could help with the "windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings", I've tinkered around but nothing seems to work, uloz.to connection time out, ulozto.net blank captcha box and nothing loads to JD2.
Thanks anyway, guys!

That moment when you accidentally permanently delete a 47 GB file...

There are programs to recover deleted files. Some result in corrupted files so will need test crc or manually check.

Everybody and their grandma doesn't need to rip "Martha Stewart's Cooking School". Yet on one site I browse (since TehParadox went down) that's just what they do, page after page of the same show encoded, re-encoded, decoded and whatever else by what must be over a dozen rippers in different file sizes. It's ridiculous, then they'll do the same with web-dls.
They really need to get together and synch up.- Show previous comments 2 more

There was a time you could really rely on TehParadox for the latest media ... too bad its gone.

Yeah, now it's WBB and a few other sites. I checked most out and stuck with WBB and the ones that don't require joining a board, but you have to scroll through pages and pages of the same material to find whether anything decent has been posted. More annoying than anything else. The number or rips of the same episode of the same show by different rippers baffles me, especially stuff that most would consider junk.
TP ruled, had the best board and search engine. -
WBB is huge .. but now, its not as it used to be.
I remember years back, before the megaupload fiasco and before knowing about private trackers, when you can find so many "library threads".
One thread would contain working links of 10-30 movies.
I remember I bookmarked a thread that had working links to asian movies .. I was curious to watch them and because of it I was introduced to Korean movies .. and since than I would download the latest Korean movies to this day.
Ahh .. those were the days were I would actually hunt for links for specific movies and shows from different "DDL" sites.
Anyone actually remember the shortlived DDL-anime links?

So the FCC plans to repeal net neutrality to allow ISPs to pick and choose which sites we're allowed to see. Nice, am I missing something? Since when have we become China or North Korea?
We all know money talks and all the sites we currently frequent will be on that blacklist.-
@spaceman99 that's the key - the control is purely in the ISP's court. Meaning if you already know you have an ISP that couldn't give two shits about Ajit Pai's FCC...like mine...then nothing will change for you.

Any tehparadoxers here? In case you're wondering why they're down no one knows, Gandolph, Schopi and Earthnet have popped up on reddit with updates, which are that no one has heard from Tehparadox himself for months nor has he logged in for a while. So far the fate of the site is unknown. Just an FYI because I know some of us are members there too.

I was saddened when it went down. Quite a few of the older good sites are shutting down.

I don't know if MEGA had suspended the bandwidth limit for free users, seemed like it to me as I haven't had a bandwidth limit reached for a month or more, well, now they're back.
Anyone else have the limits disappear for a while?-
Yeah, actually MEGA has recently implemented a server side method for IP bandwidth limitation as opposed to the AppID that has always been used and cleared in apps like megadownloader to provide no limitations. So for now, free users can only download about 5GB per 7-8 hours unless you change your have dynamic IPs or use a VPN to switch.

The VIP section is up and running. Maybe worth a try? Something simple to test it out? I miss seeing Tooncore's post, all of them from HB stuff to just plain conversation! I know things have been tough here for you in the past month or so with a-holes sharing your links and everything getting pulled and if you're done encoding/sharing I respect that. You put a ton of stuff up for everyone here and it's a shame someone had to -for some reason- target you and destroy all that hard work.
All of you work was/is greatly appreciated and thanks for all the rare series you shared with us and opened our eyes to!

Have not had the time to finish, with trying to keep up on the broken linkage. Were talking several TB worth.

I understand. So much broken it seems like it would be a difficult task to restore it all.
I'd just up something simple, short, without a lot of episodes, just to see how it goes.

Anyone know what's wrong with MEGA? Every time I try to start a DL it tells me my bandwidth limit is up, but I haven't used MEGA for DAYS now.
Anyone else having that problem?
At this point MEGA is useless.
