  1. lol! I cant judge to critically as I only got up to episode 40 xD. Sounds like I didnt miss out on much :P

Aside from a lot of new characters coming into the picture, some dying (apparently not enough), some coming back from the dead, and lot of retarded plot twists many of us either saw coming or don't care about, Naruto is now something I wish I could senselessly beat to death without remorse. Like Twilight. And Justin Beiber. And a lot of other things.

  2. LOL ah man, it sounds like you have it way worse than me... I called it quits after episode 40 or so xD. And and also because my friends ("friends") spoiled it... but yah it is quite a overrated series, but mainstream

Frankly there's a hell of a lot of other things WAY better than Naruto. And it's not just other anime, but almost everything else in existence is much, MUCH better than this excuse of a series about 'ninjas'. I like some of the other mainstream anime, but I don't care. They're more entertaining.

  3.

I must say, I cant agree with you more!! lol you must be loving all the Naruto series/movie/specials uploads that have recently hit Kametsu forums :P (no hate to the uploaders)

Honestly, I watched almost all the Naruto movies up till Blood Prison. I never saw Road to Ninja, & I don't wanna. The specials, I don't care. OVAs, don't care. What few canon episodes I watched in Shippuden, some could be better. I seriously wish I could erase all of it from my memory.

  4. Oh my goodness, Gintama is absolutely one of my favorite series, ever. Of all time. Either watching the anime or reading the manga really gets me laughing or attention-grabbing majority of the time. It's not just the many, many references it makes. And seeing the latest movie, Be Forever Yorozuya, makes me like Gintama even more.

  5. Naruto. I mostly watched the first series & very little on Shippuden. Why did I stop watching? Mostly because I came to question why the hell I ever got into the series? Granted I read the manga first then watched the anime version, but at some point I wondered what the hell makes it so special.

I stopped giving a damn series after, in the manga, Obito was revealed to be Tobi (big shocker) & how he & Madara were kept alive all this time. Also, it's partly cuz of the fandom I now more or less hate Naruto. I wish for it to end soon, and/or the series & some of its characters to just die, period.

  6. I'm excited that the Fairy Tail anime starts up again in April. Well, subbed, anyway. Nonetheless, good news for fans of the series. I'm enjoying what's in the manga so far, and I'd love to see it all animated soon. And hopefully not too many fillers along the way.

  7. Revenge of the Sith was the only one I saw in theaters. I prefer the Original Trilogy over the prequels. Darth Vader and Yoda are my favorite characters in the entire series. And for some reason, so is Star Killer. Meh.

Anyone here looking forward to Episode 7 and beyond? Oh why, Disney. Why?

  8. Looks like things are getting interesting in this week's chapter. Rukia faces off against the guy who took her brother's Bankai. I'm rooting for her to beat As Nodt, though it'd also be kinda badass (or not so surprising) for Byakuya to show up and get some revenge. I found it funny the guy tailing Renji did so even when he was asleep.

Update: here's something I also came across this morning: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-01-29/bleach-genryusai-voice-actor-masaaki-tsukada-passes-away

  9. Series like One Piece & Gintama are much, MUCH more popular in Japan compared to other parts of the world. I dunno how the hell Naruto became so popular everywhere else while in Japan it's (to my knowledge) kinda 'meh'. As a Bleach fan, I could almost care less, but yeah, I guess people are going nuts about One Piece (which I also really like).

  10. I'm so glad to be a fan of One Piece. Granted, it was the 4kids version that got my attention at first, but after catching up on the manga and subbed (and later dubbed) episodes of the anime, I liked it more. I never think to much into the art style. Some moments are priceless, others make me shake my head. Either way, OP is one series I won't get tired of anytime soon.
