  1. Can someone please explain to me why is it that when I download a file using mega, there appears to be a difference in the size of the actual file and its size in the disk? For example, I downloaded a file using mega and it shows:

    Size: 24.649.071 byte

    Disk File Size: 24.649.728 byte

Is it normal? I don't seem to have this issue using other hosts like Amazon Drive or 1Fichier etc. Why does this only apply to mega and not the other file-sharing hosts?

There was a bootleg dvd released which CBM encoded, but honestly you're better off with EveTaku's HDTV? release. The bootleg dvd was sourced from the same thing I believe anyways.

So in other words, no "official" DVD source/release for this special, just web and hdtv streamings. Makes sense since it's only a recap.

sorry mate. was really bizy. this weekend is when i'll even get the chance. is the audio out?

No worries man. Yeah, you can grab it either from Pn8 (although I think he hasn't updated his audio folder yet) or from Koby's release.

  5. Episodes 4-5 were so sick!! The violence and the deaths are becoming more gruesome by the minute. Guts' determination to find the crazy Casca is a really decent change to his character development. I get this weird vibe that something terrible and dangerous is befalling on them, but can't figure out why. Also, why is that all the religious organizations on anime turns out evil and cruel? Can't wait for Guts to take Isidoro as his student (although, I don't see it coming) and start slicing up the Mozgus group in the next episode(s).

NOTE: Since Hangeki seems to have dropped the series (hopefully that won't be the case, but more than likely it is) I will be going on with HS releases now.

If you like lazy but really intelligent and smart planning MC's and you don't mind a bit of anime-style military themes then sure, you'll probably enjoy this enough to merit watching it. I like it so far.

I will give it a watch and tell you my thoughts then! ;)

In case you missed the news post:

I will be watching the dub version of Tri too and hoping for a decent dual audio release to rise in the future cause it's one of the series I archive.

Also, something irrelevant. I hope I'm not the only one that thinks that, but I have a theory here. Tri is supposed to be a six movie adaptation right. So far each film has give the protagonistic role to two characters on each film that they're depicted on the key visuals. For example, for the first movie Tai and Matt are depicted on the visual and have the main role while the other children more of a supporting one. The same thing applies so far for the second and third films with Mimi-Joe and Izzy-T.K. respectively. So we also have 3 more films to go right? I'm assuming that the 4th film will depict Sora and Kari (since they're the last 2 remaining characters left) so that leaves out 4 more kids for the last 2 films which interestingly enough is the exact same number of the 02 kids....

So does anyone think this could be a foreshadowing of the 02 cast returing to take the main role in the last 2 movies in an order like Yolei-Kody and Davis-Ken? Personally, I would love for something like that to happen cause nostalgia only applies for the first impression (like the first 2 movies) and 02 is considered a canon part-epilogue of the Adventure storyline so I see no reason not to include them to the main cast too and not just scenes of the losing to the main villain. Besides, the appearance of the Digimon Kaiser on the second film can't just be a coincidence right?

All I'm saying is that if a similar scenario like the one stated above does happen then I wouldn't be surprised at all. But, I would love to hear everyone's theories and thoughts on this! ^_^

It's something I've enjoyed so far, but it's not something I'm immediately anxious to watch the next episode as if I couldn't wait the week or something if you know what I mean. So I'm just going to wait each week for Kantai to release it unless they end up stalling out later this season. As such I haven't seen episode 3 yet. :o

Haven't watched this show yet, but judging from your previous reviews can I assume it's worth it?

  9. Really liked the Goku VS Zamasu fight. It seems that Zamasu has the same beliefs for the humanity as Black has and jusging by the episode's facts and standards it seems like we finally found out Goku Black's true identity. I'm finally satisfied with Super's animation quality and I'm amazed by Toriyama and Toei's work so far during this saga. It's finally time to start showing Trunks' determination as an individual and for Vegeta to show him God powers so they can use them in their fight against Black.

One last thing that really worries me is the fact that the synopsis of this arc stated that this fight will involve Omni King and Gods of Destruction so I can speculate that Black will probably be a real threat to the balance of the remaining 12 Universes. Anyway, haven't been this excited for a Dragon Ball adaptation since Z so I believe that the show is in a perfect route right now and I definitely recommend it to anyone! ^_^

Poor Rem. Subaru listens to all she has to say and then flat out rejects her and says he's in love with Emilia and wants Rem to stand by his side to help make Emilia smile. Subaru doesn't deserve Rem. Rem is best girl.

He should stay in capital and heal as he promised to do. Puck made it really clear that he needs to stand by his promises and stop taking them so lightly. Subaru needs to finally get into his training regime.

It's the first time I watched and enjoyed an entire episode where it mostly depicts a dialogue between two characters. The emotional scene where Rem told all of her life and dreams to Subaru was really well made (although it was kind of dumb when he declared his love for Emilia just after Rem confessed hers to him - I believe that won't be the case at the end of the series though) as well as the one where they both debate on which "version" of Subaru is the true one. I got so many goosebumps by Subaru's last words to Rem at the end of the episode and I can't wait for him to start saving everyone and keeping his promises even though chances are slim, danger is approaching from every direction and we have no idea what they'll be doing next. Really excited and patiently waiting for the next episode.

Well this continues to be the biggest let-down of the season and totally didn't live up to the hype it had.

5 episodes in and all I can say is this is even worse than Charlotte, which at least started strong before sinking.

Rewrite is for the most part, a confusing mess which requires previous knowledge of the VN to fully grasp the situation at times, and the anime also doesn't try to build too much on character depth or whatnot as it basically assumes you already know who is who and stuff. While they originally stated the anime would be it's own anime-original '6th route', they've started adapting random parts of the other 5 it seems.

So the result is just a mess. Losing faith is Visual Art's Key VN anime adaptations.

Am I sensing a possible drop here Koby? Truth be told, I was also disappointed with the anime adaptation of the show so far for the exact same reasons you stated above and cause I had WAYYY different expectations of the show because of its original hype and for also being a fan of Key's work. If its mess goes on like that I may drop it. The only thing that keeps me on for now is the fact that the mess genres of each episode (whether it's a thriller-mystery-horror or a comedy or a drama or an adventure - I still don't get that Rewrite wants to accomplish to do and to be as a show) fascinate me to a good degree.

Episode 4 was a bit out there. The comedic moments kind of clashed with the tone of the series and the Goliath being able to come out unscathed from being rammed by a car (which totaled the car btw) broke any realism the show had going for it. It doesn't help that despite being fully immune to being hit by a car, that he was hurt so much from a single stab of a knife.

Overall you can see the friendship of the two main guys building, but we all know it won't last. Nero was involved in the killing of Avilio's family and this is a story of vengeance so we can only assume something will break them apart similar to what we saw in Gungrave between Brandon Heat and Harry MacDowel. Will Avilio forgive Nero and be friends or will his desire for vengeance force him to try to take out Nero who he seems to be growing a friendship with?

Personally, I believe for starters that this is one of the most enjoyably and worthy of my time consuming show I have had in quite a while cause it mainly gives a realistic vibe of the Prohibition era wiith decent animation, interesting and well made characters and original story-plot.

Now, I believe that Angelo killing Nero is an understatement. The chances of him losing heart and deciding to cast away vengeance to start a true frienship isn't a characteristic of the series' lore in my opinion. But, you never know. Everything is possible. Also, what I'm truly interested to find out in the upcoming episode(s) is who in blazes is the 4th person responsible for the death of Angelo's family. I pray for him to be one of the Orcos cause I really hate all of its members so far so nothing would give me a bigger satisfaction that to see Angelo destroying them (and especially Don Orco-the guy seriously ordered for the death of his chef just because of some lousy butter? :S).

Anyway, I'm really excited about this series and it's definitely NOT a drop for me if it goes on like this.
