I'm not going to say it's wrong, but if you think it is wrong just ask yourself "why do I enjoy this?" because you might find the answer there, or at least the answer to why other people could think it's wrong to like that.
For example I generally like watching action anime like Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Darker Than Black. Why do I enjoy watching those shows? Because I love the awesome choreographed action fight scenes.
Now, ask bronies why they like watching My Little Pony and see what they say.

I used to watch Dragon Ball as a kid, but I never knew there was a difference between cartoons and anime. Then in early highschool I saw Fullmetal Alchemist and Cowboy Bebop when they first aired on Adult Swim and that's when I began to search for more anime to watch.
I used to have a negative image of anime because some kids at school would run around with the dog ears and dog tail and be talking about InuYasha or whatever, and I thought they were pretty weird so I figured anime was pretty weird. Just goes to show you shouldn't be so quick to judge

All the anime I've watched has been dubbed, and I must say I can only name a few that just had obvious poor voice acting. If anything I think the main problem would be translation issues, but generally I find the english voice acting to be really well done. I feel there's just something about watching anime in your native language that just helps portray emotion. I've honestly tried watching subs before, especially if there's an anime I can't wait for the dub then I'll try the sub, but I have a real hard time feeling the emotions of the characters when they're speaking a foreign language and subtitles just don't do justice. For example in Fullmetal Alchemist at the funeral scene, I watched it in both versions and in the sub I really didn't feel anything, but in the dub I actually felt sad while watching. But that's just me.
But for people who say dubs suck, I think they should be more specific. What about dubs makes them suck? Is it the translation issues? Because I know that's a common issue especially when dealing with cultural differences. But do they think the voice actors suck? Well I know there are some veteran english dub voice actors that are simply amazing, like Troy Baker and Steven Blum. If those guys really sucked would they be landing big rolls all the time?
Just something to think about

I think Ghost Host is labeled under the Horror/Mystery genre. It's not really one to have jump scares but some of the episodes are pretty creepy

Usually if I like the character I'll remember their name. But those side characters that don't get much notice I never remember their names.

I usually enjoy the great story telling, and awesome action sequences. You can't really find that outside of anime, well at least the 'action sequences' part

Will they be updating this list with a partial or even full 2013 line up?
This thread has some more up to date stuff:

Oh wow, thanks. Ya that's pretty much what I was looking for. I just wanted to know when english dubbed anime releases were coming out this year. I used to get torrents from this guy Daman4Iife who usually posted the most recent releases, but he's stopped for a while so I've been looking for somewhere else to obtain them

I'm usually disappointed after I finish an anime. But there are different types of disappointment. Generally I feel bummed out that I just finished an epic anime and I wish that it could go on. But sometimes I'm disappointed by abrupt endings, or general lack of a real ending and you can tell things were rushed, so I'm disappointed the series didn't get a proper finish. And lastly I sometimes feel disappointed that I wasted hours of my life watching a terrible anime. Unless the anime is just awful, I usually try and finish it just to give it the benefit of the doubt

The last episode in UN-GO. I'm a little disappointed the series ended rather suddenly but I'm not sure it would have been easy to drag it out for another 12 episodes

1. Darker Than Black - I'd be a contractor
2. I would perceive myself as a good guy, not sure if others would feel the same
3. Pyrokinesis
4. Fire
5. The IRS
6. Obama
7. It all started one day when I was working at a taco stand. I was serving a group of little kids when all of a sudden I accidentally set them all on fire. Since then I've been on the run from the government.

Has anyone heard anything if they're thinking of doing more Claymore? The ending feels rather abrupt

You wonder if maybe there are even sub-categories of filler. Like filler that still doesn't pertain to the main plot but still adds background to some of the characters or other interesting info

According to my myanimelist.net account, I've watched 1,713 episodes. It's a modest number I think
and that's not counting any of the 100+ episode series as I haven't actually seen any. Well actually I did watch dragon ball as a kid but I don't really count that
