  1. I've watched the first few episodes of it and then stopped because I couldn't find subs. It's okay. I'm a big fan of Shida Mirai and Hayami Mokomichi so I'll probably finish it just for them if I ever find decent subs to the rest of the eps.
  2. Six Feet Under. No other show will ever compare. The story, the characters, the actors, the acting--everything about SFU is brilliant and perfect.
  3. I like Tupac more, but I'd have to say Eminem is the better rapper. His style and technique overall are better and his lyrics are more complex. I think Tupac's lyrics were deeper than anything Eminem's ever written, but Eminem is the better lyricist.
  4. Relapse was his worst album, next to Encore imo. But he made up for it with Recovery--now that's what I call a solid album and one of his best!
  5. Michael C. Hall. He's a brilliant actor. Love him so much! <3
  6. Claire Fisher from Six Feet Under, hands down. I have a mega crush on her character. She is funny, opinionated, smart, sarcastic, and beautiful. I don't think there will ever be a character that'll live up to her.
  7. I wouldn't say he's the greatest, but he's got a lot of talent.
  8. Finished reading: "The Feminine Mystique" by Betty Friedan (okay this is like the 5th time I've re-read this book...) Currently reading: "The Girls Who Went Away" by Ann Fessler Will read next: Not sure, probably "The Japanese Mind" by Roger J. Davies & Osamu Ikeno
  9. There's been very little anime endings that haven't disappointed me completely. While watching a series, I always get an idea of how the story should end, what should happen to wrap everything up and not leave the story incomplete or open (especially if it's not getting more seasons). And normally it doesn't end that way. I don't know if I just haven't been watching the right anime or what, but it always seems to end abruptly or on a note that doesn't really close the story and leaves much to be desired.
  10. It really depends on how good it was. Usually I feel sad that it's over, but that only lasts for a few days at the most. Unless it's really good....then I end up just rewatching it because I miss the characters/story too much. :3
  11. I've become kinda spoiled lately with so many fansub groups releasing anime in HD that I don't even want to watch anything in SD anymore. And while I will watch anything in any quality as long as it's good, I really prefer HD.
  12. I think both series are intriguing. They both have complex lead characters and there's a lot of twists and turns in each story. It's really hard to pick which one is better...but I'm going to go with Code Geass. Only because I like the ending to that better than the ending to Death Note. I felt like the ending to CG wasn't rushed and really wrapped up the story. But the ending to Death Note just kind of happened, and it was pretty predictable. Still, both are great series! ---------- Post added at 08:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:27 PM ---------- I completely agree. The "battle" between Near and Light just wasn't as intriguing as Light vs L. The switch up of the character mid-way through the series was definitely a downer and the story got really predictable then, imo.
  13. I usually prefer the dub when/if it is available. (^o^) Except when I used to watch Naruto...that dub was horrible.
  14. Dousoukai, Mother, Kaibutsu-kun, Shinzanmono, Sunao ni Narenakute, Tsuki no Koibito, Tumbling, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, Cinderella's Sister, Oh! My Lady, and Personal Taste. I'm watching too many dramas this season.
  15. I'm really stoked for it! I am a really big Eminem fan, but it's no secret that he progressively got worse with each new album. I was so disappointed with Encore that I stopped listening to him for awhile. But, Relapse came out and it's getting back to the old Eminem we all know and love. I'm sure Recovery will be just as awesome!
