look for new awesome anime or manga this summer
Not going to get into anime recommendations, but you should TOTALLY read Uzumaki. It's one of the only manga I've ever read but it's really good and only 3 volumes.
I plan completing Elfen Lied and Rah Xephon, and start watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, D.N. Angel, Yuyu Hakusho, D.Gray Man (loong way to go) and Code Geass... @_@ and maybe Claymore. Oh, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya...
Elfen Lied is basically what got me into watching anime. Good choice.
I plan on watching D.N. Angel because my favorite voice actor, Greg Ayres, is one of the main characters (can't remember off the top of my head) but it's yet to finish downloading. Melancholy is good, but I recommend watching it in chronological order instead of not. On the other hand I intend on finishing Yu Yu Hakusho, I started it a few days ago.Good choice, I think. I haven't seen it but my boyfriend has and he really liked it.
I plan to finish Rurouni Kenshin, soul eater, somehow fight the boredom and catch up to bleach and naruto and finally, I'm going to start randomly bombing crowded areas in Japan until they make Gurren Lagann season 2...I've only seen Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen and I doubt I'm ever going to watch the full series but that 4 episodes was really good. Good enough to make me want to cry. Also, LOL, I don't think another few bombs is going to speed up the process of making a 2nd season to a 3 year old show. Aren't all of the other stuff they made for the anime enough for you?

Yeah, I plan on watching/finishing Mushishi, Excel Saga, Kaiji, Fullmetal Alchemist, Chi's New Address and... I feel like I'm leaving something out but I may not be. Those are what I'm watching with Clark though.
By myself, I hope to watch E's Otherwise, I started Ghost Stories but I think I'm going to drop it, Gravion, Gravion Zwei if I liked Gravion, and D.N. Angel. Oh, and Video Girl Ai. Taking me forever to finish that. >.>

I just wanted to know who else had some interesting anime watching goals for the summer. Mine is to finish watching spin-offs, prequels, sequels, specials, etc. for anime that I've already completed including:
Chobits
Chrno Crusade
InuYasha (basically impossible)
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Kino's Journey
Love Hina
Onegai Teacher
Saikano
Sailor Moon (also basically impossible)
School Rumble
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
I may be forgetting a few, but that's what I've got so far by looking at my plan to watch list on MyAnimeList.net. What about you?

Here is mine! Add me please, I only have one friend. =[

Koby, you need to go ahead and take Chrno Crusade off your on-hold list, because that's one of the best anime I've ever seen.

He's probably talking about Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 that I recommended you watch. =O

My all time favorite voice actor is Greg Ayers. I'm not sure that he's acted in any video games, but he has in some of my favorite anime including Black Cat, Chrno Crusade, Gantz, Welcome to the NHK! (Where I first fell in love).
He's also in a lotttt others that I haven't seen but I definitely need to download some. Here's his list:
-
Clark, I'd like to watch TM8 with you if it's not too late.
Also, my list is similar to yours. I'm not sure if all of these are underground because I don't pay much attention to that, but here are my favorites:
Cat Soup
Chrno Crusade
Diary of Tortov Roddle
Gantz
Glassy Ocean
Grave of the Fireflies
Higurashi no Naku koro Ni
A Country Doctor
Kaiba
Kino's Journey
The House of Small Cubes
Pale Cocoon
Paranoia Agent
Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen
Saikano
She and Her Cat
Sweat Punch (Comedy)
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Voices of a Distant Star
and Welcome to the NHK!

I haven't seen any of these, but I choose One Piece because Greg Ayers is the English voice actor for Franky.

Uzumaki. 8.5/10
This was both the first and last manga I have ever read. The creativity and sticking-to-the-story were really great. Not much filler in 3 volumes except for the 2nd, but that stuff was really just cool to read and look at. Must read.

I really don't think that the other 2 main characters of Gantz should've died, or all of the characters except for the ONLY one that lived in Chrno Crusade.

Considering I have never watched commonly hated anime like Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, etc., I can't say I hate them.
However, I have only hated ONE anime. Nekojiru Gekijou, AKA Cat Soup Theater. Worst thing I have ever wasted my time on. Now, the spin-off is an amazing OVA and I definitely recommend it. Also, I couldn't get past the first episode of Cromartie High School even though I've heard from several people that it's good.
-
I'd love to read more one-shots, but actually watching anime is definitely my thing.
I just read Uzumaki recently though, verrrrry good manga.

Yes, I do smoke pot. It is a really great stress reliever. I don't treat it as very much of a social thing but considering I don't have a job and very little resources, sometimes I have to resort to doing it socially. Of course, it all depends on who I'm with. Most of the people around where I live are either I'M SO COOL AND SMART BECAUSE I'M SXE or I'M SO BADASS AND DOWN-TO-EARTH BECAUSE I SMOKE/SELL POT. So smoking isn't something that happens often for me, but if I could make it into a weekly thing then I would gladly do so.

8/10 because I like Sage Francis. <3 Lyrics are great, too.

Greg Ayers, definitely. No competition whatsoever, I fell in love with him when he played Yamazaki in Welcome to the NHK!
