  1. That reminds a long time ago I was sitting in a coffee shop listening to a young coloured kid telling his father and grand father how good rap is and that the beat relates to tribal background. I could see they were getting a little pissed offed. I looked over at the kid and said. Rap is nothing new back in your father's and grand father's day they called the blues. Give it a try and you'll see. Now the kid likes blues.

  2. It kinda is. I have to wear a paint suit and gloves so the nicotine doesn't absorb into my skin. It would be like smoking a couple of cartons at once, and I'm a smoker. But when the house is done only smoking outside.

  3. I can't remember the name of the movie that I used to watch when I was 7 (maybe).

It's anime, there is something about gods of forest who started to annihilate people because they destroy forests or something and when the village or city (don't remember) was under attack the only salvation was to go near water cause they couldn't get near it or something. And I remember a moment where there was a white samurai girl (maybe) doing something or being on the gods side. xd Sorry for such lame clues.

Does anybody knows about this movie? Thanks in advance.

It almost sounds like Princess Mononoke.

  4. Today I start my lay-off. I told them to lay me off or I quit, because I have one month to empty out the house, clean it up, rewire it, put it back together, paint it and move in. I am doing this by myself so going to work is just not in the equation. If I start on Saturday I should be able to pull it off. Wish me luck.

Depending on how bad the house is, you might be in for a lot of work. My question is... Do you have to have absolutely everything done before you can move in? Or could you, let's say, clean out the whole thing, rewire it, then put together part of it, move into that part, and then continue putting the rest together as you go?

    Either way. Good luck.

The house was bought in 1985 so there is a lot collecting over the years. There is also 27 years of nicotine I have to wash away before I can prime and paint and remove all the carpets but underneath is the original wood floors. They can be done later. I want to get as much as I can done before I move in. But if not It can be done little by little.

  6. @ llama She needed a new laptop because her old one wouldn't turn on anymore. Then there was the usual pens, pencils, paper, white board etc. About $ 250 at Staples. And stuff I can't remember. Then there is all the clothes but her mother is flipping the bill for that. I forgot to mention she is 15 and going into grade 10.
