  1. I like Hinata more, and I know she would be a better match for Naruto than Sakura. Naruto is a great guy with a pure heart of solid gold, Sakura is a whiny brat who only cares about her own feelings and nobody else. Sakura never gave a shit about Naruto's feelings, Rock Lee's feelings or even Sasuke's feelings. All she ever cared about, was being with Sasuke despite the fact he told her over and over again he had zero interest in her. Sakura never even bothered to understand her teammates until it was too late, she was a horrible partner, friend and overall a horrible ninja.

Hinata has been true to her ninja way, and has always put Naruto first in her feelings. She has waited a long time to be with Naruto, she's pure heart person like Naruto. She likes him and he will like her once he realizes that she wants to be with him. Sakura has spent her years obsessing for someone who doesn't even like her and Naruto has put himself through torment trying to keep a promise to bring Sasuke back to her. Clearly, Hinata is the optimum choice. Besides that, her personality matches with Naruto. He's loud, forward, and hotheaded. Hinata brings he calmness and quietness to the table. Having 2 loud hotheads like Sakura and Naruto together would never work out.

The truth is, there's nobody for Sakura.

  2. I honestly think it'd be hard for Rock Lee to have beat Neji in the Chuunin Exams. Neji could easily block the chakra gates that allow Rock Lee to power up and then it'd be simply Rock Lee's normal taijutsu vs. all of Neji's abilities. Rock Lee may be strictly taijutsu which makes him pretty much excellent at it, but Neji's taijutsu is excellent too. He can make like 320 punches shutting off all the chakra points within a single technique in like 15 seconds. I believe Rock Lee would need to make use of opening the gates to match that kind of speed at the time of the Chuunin Exams, in which Rock Lee only opened the gates when it was his last option, which means Neji would have already blocked it's use before it came to that.

You must remember that Inner Gates doesn't use chakra, it takes limiters off the body and is a skill that only be obtained through hard physical training. Rock Lee can not use chakra at all. Inner Gates is not genjutsu or ninjutsu. If the move required chakra, Rock Lee couldn't use it. Therefore Neji chakra block has no effect.

But for sake of open thinking, let's say that Inner Gates was a chakra technique. It could speculated that opening the Inner Gates might force those chakra points in the body to re-open even after being blocked. If you think about the nature of the movie, it's all about forcing limiters to open. Technically, there's the chance that it could force a blocked charka point open as well.

It was never stated he couldn't use chakra, only that he had no talent for ninjutsu and genjutsu. As for the limiters, what do you think they are? It's limiters on the 8 specific points of the Chakra pathway. By removing the limiters it allows more chakra to flow than the body can normally handle. He's able to remove the limiters because he's trained his body so much in the art of taijutsu. Taijutsu typically does not require chakra, though chakra may be used to enhance its techniques as is the case of gaining new abilities by removing the limiters (which again is something he can only do because of the massive amount of training he has put his body through, a normal ninja wouldn't be able to handle the strain that removing the limiters puts on the body).

Also Neji isn't "blocking" them, he's technically destroying them. They'll need time to heal. Say you had a power cord connected to another power cord with a fuse between them. If the fuse is destroyed, the current can't flow through. Same ordeal with the chakra points. Once destroyed, even if the limiters are removed, the chakra can't properly flow through the body.

    Quote from the Wikia:

The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body.

I see you have a point. However I just realized something, Neji would never have bothered to attack Rock Lees Chakra points because without knowing about those gates it would have been pointless, he KNEW Rock Lee had nothing but basic moves. I think Rock would have opened the Gates before Neji hit his power points. Once the gates were open, Neji could never have targeted Rocks system, he was moving too fast. In fact, I doubt if he could have hit Lees charka points even without the gates, Rock Lee was the fastest of any genin after all.

  4. You guys raise very good points. Personally I think Rock Lee would have won, it's not a certainty but it's where I would put my money in a bet. The reason for this is because (as others have said) Neji relies really really heavily in shutting his opponents chakra down and as fate had it, that means nothing to Rock since he never used chakra to begin with. But even more so than that, I think the MAIN reason Lee would have won is because Neji was incredibly arrogant and mentally he could not fathom the idea of anyone being as good as him. I think Neji would have mocked and toyed with Rock Lee, and then once he realized his shit was about to get busted by Inner Gates, it would have been too late. Also, there's the fact that Neji could not have kept up with Lees speed, which again makes his bloodline eyes useless.

The reason I made this poll was to see how many people would agree with what I always thought the result would have been, and I see almost everyone thought the same thing. It's a shame they didn't get to fight, I would have preferred Rock to beat Neji over Naruto. I think it's ironic how Rock always thought Neji was the hardest possible matchup for him, when in reality he was probably the hardest possible matchup for Neji and neither one realized that.

Obviously, for those who have been watching the series later, you probably figured out why I didn't say "who would win if they fought NOW" because clearly Neji's growth in skill has more or less stopped altogether. I guess the writers lost interest in his character after the chunin exam and he's pretty much not shown anything amazing since that time. It would be a no brainer that Rock would win as time went on.

  5. For those who remember Rock Lee's first goal as a genin, he was training and preparing to beat his own team mate Neji, since it was believed that Neji was the best and most talented of any genin. Of course Rock Lee never got to meet Neji in battle, but based upon his performance against Gaara, do you think Rock Lee could have taken Neji if they had fought right then in the chunin prelims. Please discuss.

  6. Soi Fon is awesome because she's realiable. There's more to being a Captain than just being powerful. Stark was one of the strongest characters in the entire series, but he was useless overall. Soi Fon doesn't have to be the most powerful to be one of the most useful characters in Bleach. She puts her duties first, and has no illusions about the limitations of her power. There are so many charatcers who's egos don't allow them to admit they are simply outmatched, Soi Fon doesn't suffer from that. She puts the mission first.

Also I want to say, she's one of the MOST useful in a situation where arises where Zanpakto can't be used. If you took away the ability to use Zanpakto (for whatever the reason) 99% of soul reapers just became helpless, right on down to the great Ichigo himself. The only people who can do anything then are people with high level Kido (the Kido Captain and his assaint 'vizard with bow tie', Cap Commander because he's fucking super strong, Yoroichi/Soi Fon because they have high level hand to hand combat, and then Sandlehat because he uses all those weird gadgets and stuff).

So yeah, I think Soi Fon is great. 8/10 on the useful scale.

  7. Aizen openly admited he could not defeat the Cap Commander in a straight up fare fight, he said that clearly. This is why he had wonderwise designed to deal with Cap Commander (and btw, I want to take a second just to say that was a complete ASS PULL by the writers to make it where Aizen could do something so convienant. Aizen can't just "create" a character to block the powers of another character because he felt like it, that's such bullshit. If he could do that, then it would mean anyone could do that for anyone else. Bad writing, or plot-no-jutsu as some know it) In heads up fight, Cap wins Aizen said it himself.

  8. Are you kidding? I would fair to say Ishida was stronger than even Ichigo when they invaded Soul Sociaty for the first time. Did you see the way Ishida kicked the Captain of Reseaches ass, Ichigo couldn't have done that. Of course later on, Ichigo got way stronger but IMO Quincy is still in the game. He's no joke. It's one the complaints I have about the Fulbringer Arc, no growth for anyone but Ichigo.

  9. Best movie of them all BY FAR. I like how dark it was and straight to the point with action. When will these companies learn that fans have no interest in spending the 1st hour of the movie devolping background and history for characters who won't even exsist in the actual series. Then they use the last 35 minutes on actual action, fuck that. Hell Chapter got right into the good stuff and was a non stop roller coaster ride.

  10. I've always said it, no high power level anime will ever be success when ported to live action. It's just not possible. It's not even about how much money and time it would take to pull it off, some things were simply designed for an anime art style. Case in point, Ichigo standing there in a black kimono with a gaint sword on his back will never look as cool in real life as in anime form. It's just not possible.

  11. I think Chad is the most IMPROVED charater in Bleach as far as growth. He was getting stronger and stronger until the Fulbringer Arc, and whatever the reason they choose to focus only on Ichigo's growth and nobody eles. Do I think he's useless? No, but he was useless in the Fulbringer Arc.

  12. I think he's wicked and cruel, but not EVIL EVIL EVIL to the core like Majin Buu or something. He had so many oppertunities to kill people who were weaker than him, but he didn't. I think he was more interested in evolving and challanging himself, more of a Perfect Cell type villain.

  13. People are worried over nothing. Bleach was not canceled forever, it's just on break until the Manga finishes and thank goodness. I wasn't interested in seeing another horrible filler saga. I actually liked the Bounto and Muramasa filler, but the one with the caption clones was so bad that I never want to see anything like that again.

  14. I made about 30 post over the last week and then for some strange reason, this forum started giving me error 404's over the last few days. Finally, I was able to log in again, but all my post history and everything I've done has been deleted. WTF guys?

Even my avatar and sig is gone. It's like this entire account got reset to nothing.
