Nice Shadow Hearts site...Covenant is one of my favourite games of all time.....why is so much of it's content scored out/dead?
As for dealing with gaming on this site, unless you're going to offer links to content, then for the time being i don't see why you couldn't just abolish sub sections altogether and group everything under a single Gaming section. Grouping by game can quickly become either cluttered or dead (depending on activity), whereas grouping by platform or company, whilst better if you are offering content, spreads things out too much.
Personally, as someone familiar with the running of a game site, i'd go with a single section until you see patterns developing.

i use media player classic home cinema it plays everything. I seriously would like to know a format it doesnt play cause it plays anything i download and i didnt have to install codecs
Does it play uncompress Rar or 7z files?
In reality there's little to no difference in the fidelity of any music players for your computer...it's the soundcard/amp you're using that makes the difference (i use Foobar 2k myself)

Very average and immensely over-rated in my opinion. After all the hype it got from people i'd talked to i was very let down.

On the topic of the dub vs sub, many of the Dub characters were spot on (Revy in particular) and that's primarily why i've avoided Roberta's Blood Trail up 'til now. If the news of a dub of it is accurate i'll be pretty happy.

Really, really pointlessly....at this point with nothing much added why would anyone bother with this one?
-
No, no, no, no, no.
It went on far too long, was generally pointless, and all the "fanservice elements" were hugely over-rated. It's OK....but nothing more than that...if you watch two or three episodes you've essentially seen all of them, and gah, the Lucky Channel ending sections were tedious.....

I thought that with the English dub (like most e-dubs), you lost a good 15-20% of the experience.
Massive disagreement here....i spent forever getting the original English dub of Laputa Castle in the Sky (the 86 Steamline one, not the much later Van Der Beek one) and for me the dub only adds to the experience.

its a sad day when someone can say they dont have an online connection for a gaming console halfway through 2012
I don't have an online connection for gaming, and my internet speed is laughable (i also have atrocious TV reception). It's sad that many companies around the world take it for granted that everyone can download large files from the internet...the simple fact that to use the PSN properly i'd have to be able to download HUGE game files means that i won't be getting a Vita and the PS3's online potential seems slightly pointless. And it's doubly sad that my internet is so poor because of the area i live in....just 30 or 40 miles away internet is much better.

The final episode of After Story (ep 22?) was absolutely terrible, breaking both the internal logic of the anime, and ruining the effect of events in the previous episode. I enjoyed After Story but when i can say that Haruhi's Endless Eight section left me with better feelings than the end of After Story i know that something is seriously wrong with that finale.

Metal Gear HD Collection at the moment done Sons of liberty and snake eater just peace walker, metal gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake left to go.
Wow. Almost snap. Just finished MGS Substance, and starting Subsistence. Although i'm on a PS2 ....

That sounds like your wireless connection is failing on you. First thing to do would be to log into your Router and try changing the broadcast channel to one of the higher less used channels like 10, 11 or 12.

Don't you guys find the series gets repetitive very fast, degenerating into the same sort of thing over and over and over? The last type of DW game i tried was Devil Kings on the PS2 and whilst initially fun it got dull fast...

I think that a properly set up MeGUI would probably be the best choice but XviD4PSP is a viable alternative too. Ultimately you'll get better results with programs that give you more control over the process but that leads to additional levels of complication, which makes the process more difficult.

Dream of a Shore Bordering on Another World (from Chrono Cross) is just one of the most fantastic compositions ever....in fact the CC OST is plain amazing. To give them their due the Metal Gear Solid games are also fabulously scored.

The left is all about big government and crushing freedom, whereas the right is all about small government and civil liberties.
Are you sure you have that the right way around? Unless i've missed something the (far) Right wing is generally associated with those in power keeping it for themselves.

PlayStation has never been about motion gaming, so it was an odd addition to their collection.
Nintendo was never about Motion gaming before the Wii? Every company has to try something to shake things up, and if it actually did add an extra dynamic it wouldn't have mattered it was similar to the Wii. It's just most dev's have ignored it.

The Familiar of Zero.
What a waste of life that one was....poor characterisation, a plot that promised so much more with it's alternate world setting, a mediocre dub and terrible episodic storytelling. It could have been so much more...

Sounds like the split in the GBA Golden Sun games. They were a continuing story across the two carts although marketed as separate games. Perhaps eliminating the numeric aspect of the title and just going with an extended name might be better?
-
The sad thing is that only a few of the games really retain their playability today....the great thing is that anyone with a PSP or DS (or even GBA) can sample some of them in a format which optimises the experience, plus on a smaller screen things look a touch better.

Whilst the Move specific games generally turn out to be somewhat tedious, surely those titles with enhanced Move options (Like RE5) are worth having an alternative control scheme? RE4 on the Wii was made great by that option and whilst i've not tried a Move surely it can't be all bad?
When people only like one type of music...

Bands make music primarily for themselves, because they enjoy it. If the world likes it that's great, but the last thing i want are my favourite bands trying to churn out the same stuff they've done before. I want invention and something that's going to excite me...not songs similar to what are on their past albums.
Bands that don't evolve just die. There are about a bazillion other bands doing the scream sing thing.....just because Linkin Park don't do it any longer doesn't mean you're missing out...and in a topic opposed to listening to only one type of music, arguing that bands recycle their old sound ad nauseam, you're effectively siding with those who can't adapt to multiple different genre's.
