  1. Dunno as it counts as current but I'm planning of watching "K-On! Movie" this evening. S***, I'm so happy. After some shitty series, finally I will be able to enjoy something beautiful.
  2. Todays morning: fried eggs (three), then boiled eggs (two), then ice cream with strawberries. During breakfast of eating eggs was drinking milk. Yes, milk. Not very suitable drink with eggs, but as didn't have anything else to drink at the moment (was too lazy to make tea or coffee) decided to go with milk.
  3. "Shining Hearts" Yesterday. All 12 episodes in...20 minutes, well maybe 30. A total c***. The only good thing about it was animation and female characters. Well, at least how they looked. What I must admit animation really was top noth (at least for me). And especially ladies. They were super cute. However, everything else, (including main hero, other characters (the main ones too as I didn't like their personalities), story) was bad. Very bad. I just wasted half an hour of my precious time. I didn't expect it to be good, but I really couldn't imagine that that would be SO BAD. So 1/10 from me. EDIT v1. Another worthless anime in my list: "Hiiro no Kakera". Yesterday. Finished in 4o minutes or so. Was capable of watching first episode, but after that... Dunno what to say about it. There wasn't anything good about it. Neither characters, neither animation, neither story. Well, I could stand animation part (let's say 8/10; though it wasn't impressive), but I couldn't stand reverse harem (if it is called like that), nor main characters (felt like watching "Backstreet Boys"; I'm gonna puke!), nor story (just plain boring). So this time yet again not my cup of tea. Verdict: 1/10.
  4. As for me: it's O.K. I don't mind wasting my time reading long sentences and other stuff. Well, of course if the thread in question is something I'm interested in. If say the truth it gives me more pleasure, when one or other opinion is put more detailed, rather then saying "I liked it" or "It sucks" and such. Though, I myself not very talkative, I like when others know how to express their thinking in a long way. I don't know why, though. And talking about long thread: well, I really don't bother to look over all post in it if its number is huge, but at least ten last posts, like in "What was the last Anime that you completed and your thoughts about it?" thread. Not like I will answer to them, just that I'm kinda interested in what who and what watched last time and such.
  5. First season was good, I agree with that. Though I wasn't so sad that series wasn't dubed. I watched it subed and it was O.K. Well, O.K. for some part, as and second season, and OVAs weren't as great as first season. It was good, but not so good as it's predecessor. Either way... My recent entry to my "Last finished...': "Haiyore! Nyaruko-san" HDTVRip in 1280x720, subed by Underwater, rori. Not bad. Not very logical, but that the way comedies must be. I liked it much at first but after fourth or so episode it started to go down. Well, it wasn't like "Oh man it is total crap", but my interest was reduced in half by the end of these series: animation (10/10): very good; one minus: Hastur (Hasuta Yasaka); s***, he's a guy, A GUY! Could you have guessed that? And why animators try so hard to remove boundaries between female and male? story (4/10): at first it was O.K., but later is started to get boring; no really good story, cliché events and such; nothing that could be worth mentioning; well, there were bunch of funny moments, but they still were lacking something; characters (6/10): not very interesting except for one - Nyarlathotep (the best one and funniest I have ever seen); sadly but main one kinda sucked (sexy girl wants him (already mentioned above) [who cares that she isn't human] and he refuses her! What an idiot!); So overall something like 5/10. Very strong one of the main characters (Nyarlathotep), but everything else not good. Neither bad, but was expecting far more that what I got.
  6. After finishing "Nazo no Kanojo" and "xxxHolic" second season and OVAs started to watch "Haiyore! Nyaruko-san" HDTVRip, subed by Underwater, rori. Three episodes yesterday. Quite good show. Funny, not very logical, sometimes crazy. Just what I want. Good animation, nice characters. Three episodes were good, not very good, but good. Will see how "good" it will continue to be.
  7. My last PC desktop vanished! So here it is... again:
  8. I wonder... wasn't I giving my opinion about this song before "all hell break loose" and new forum was established? Hmm... I think I was, but if continue than continue... Pop (and especially that kind) if not for me. Kinda reminds me of "Aqua". Well if I were 12 years old it would suit me (it did beck then), but now it sounds just too... teletubbiesh (anyone knows "Teletubbies", I do)... This is what I listen now: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQtRXqBQETA
  9. During last week my attention was focused on "Nazo no Kanojo X" and second season of xxxHolic and its OVAs: xxxHolic Kei, Shunmuki, Ro and Ro Adayume. So what can I say about it? "Nazo no Kanojo X" Very, very good show. Nice animation, good story, lovable characters. I liked almost everything about it. animation (10/10); good design of characters, though sometimes it reminded me of "old school" stuff, which generally I try to avoid; but this time it was O.K. story (10/10); can't say much here; I liked it; though ending could have been more complete (not like it was bad, but wanted a bit more), like showing direct kiss or something chracaters (10/10); now they were great, especially Mikoto Urabe and especially when got this haircut she looked way too cute; sadly only for on episode. So overall I would rate theses series 10/10. Marvelous! "xxxHolic" secnd season and OVAs. Nice show. Not as good as first season, but good nonetheless. As well as second season OVAs were good too. animation (7/10); the same as in first season; kinda rough and not very pleasant to my eyes; too long legs and hands; but didn't bothered me too much; story (8/10); either it was me, either I thought that it was darker compared to first season; especially "Ro" and "Ro Adayume"; I kinda disliked where it went: Yuuko diead and Watanuki took her place as shop "whatever" and now he isn't able to leave it it was just too sad; despite that I liked how the story progressed; other slight minus goes for interactions between other anime (Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE); it seemed kinda awkward; characters (10/10); and who could argue about that; they all were great. So overall I could give it 9/10. Slightly minus on animation side and ending (though big minus on that one), but everything else was very good.
  10. My first post in... forum that was converted in "IPB" (whatever it may be). So many "my lasts anime" are gone . But, whatever, let's continue... During last week I was able to finish couple of shows: "Zetman". My opinion about it: quite boring. Watchable, but nothing very good. Main minus goes for animation: I really wasn't very satisfied with the design of characters. It wasn't very bad (some ladies were really pretty), but I wasn't happy to see how zetman looked, nor how overall design of all characters was. When there were funny or emotional moments, they weren't convincing because of animation. It didn't suit my taste to some particular scenes. Other minus: one stupid character, Kouga Amagi / Alphas. Man, at some point seeing him I felt like watching cartoon for 10 years old. Couldn't stand him. And story... Hmm... average. No more no less. So overall I could rate these series like 6/10 maybe. "Sankarea" HDTVRip in 1280x720, subed by Doki. What can I say. Very god series: animation (10/10), story (10/10), characters (10/10). Everything was superb, only one tinny - small minus. O.K. Big one: the ending. Really, why they couldn't have finished theses series in normal why, like... I don't know, with normal end. It definitely calls for second season. Why too much of unanswered question; well one, but still. Cliffhanger was to big in my opinion. Either way 10/10 from me. As I believe there will be more of "Sankarea" later. Heard something about OVAs or something. So maybe later they will be able to finish it in more suitable manner.
  11. Flashbacks, explaining each fight technique is pointless. Just drag of time. I'm so happy that I'm not into "Naruto", "Bleach" and the likes, as I think I would go crazy of all that non stopping past showing and explaining. Some are good, but when that "some" continues in each episode, through hell knows how much episodes... it is just... suffering. So in order to avoid that suffering it is better to avoid that type of anime or at least do as I do: skip it. Just watch most interesting parts and when comes time for yet another flashback just skip it. That way I save time and my brain (or nerve) cells.
  12. Recent days were kinda good: "High School DxD" HDTVRip in 1280x720, subed by Hiryuu. Entertaining anime. Skipped there and here, but finished till the end. With some downsides, but overall good (7.5/10): animation (10/10) no complaints here; everything that was shown was good; story (7/10) hmm... liked the point that there was no big harem involved; two girls loving one character - very good; demons and such - not bad, but story kinda progressed not the way that I wanted it to progress (can't explain more detailed; don't know myself); happy ending - very good; fan service was good, but sometimes too much; characters (9/10) all of them were good; this time even main one was to my liking; So wasn't disappointed in it. ".hack//Quantum" BDRip in 1280x720 by Pooba. Three episodes. All of them very good: animation (10/10) BDRIP quality amazing; characters design just the way I like it; story (9/10) good one, though remembered watching ".hack//Sign", so story isn't something original; but compared to some other ".hack" franchise series was way up ahead; characters (10/10) all of them were good, especially Sakuya and that little kitty (can't find his name) [the best part when he started to go rampage!]; Yes, this Ova (or whatever you call it) was truly very good.
  13. I'm not familiar with all that anime genres, like shoujo, bishounen, and so on, but will try to make myself clear as possible. I like Moe , though can't stand Magical Girls (shoujo, yes? or no? whatever...). No boys love . And no bunch of guys and one girl (how you call that? reverse harem?). Though sometimes there are exceptions (not like I can think of any right now ). And that's that, I think. Well, maybe then some serious drama. Except if it is alongside with some action or comedy, but as stand alone genre I dislike it.
  14. I have a couple of user names I use in WWW: 1. dudefromLT (this come randomly; as I'm from Lithuania I decided to create something resembling that I'm from there; and word "dude"... that's from movie title - "Dude, Where's My Car?"; though I haven't seen the actual movie) 2. DoniDarko (I liked movie "Donnie Darko"; one of the better ones; so decided to use it as reference; made some "minor" changes and you have... DoniDarko) 3. NanaLux (using it somewhere; what it means? don't know; I can't even remember how I thought about it; I know that I took it from somewhere (or at least parts of it), but can't remeber from where.
  15. "Boom Boom Satellites" are very good. This song isn't exception, I like it, especially vocal. However, their songs "Shut Up And Explode" and "Easy Action" are still much better. And my new finding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zyoyce1l3vM
  16. "Inu x Boku SS". HDTVRip in 1280x720, subed by EveTaku. Finished it yesterday. So what can I say: not bad, rather good. There were bunch of skipping moments, but overall I enjoyed it till the last minute. Animation was good (10/10), story as well (8/10), characters so so (7/10). There were couple of annoying ones like Kagerou (couldn't stand him) and Zange (sometimes irritated me as well). The other minus goes for Miketsukami. His devotion to Ririchiyo didn't seem very real. Well, he wasn't bad, but affection toward his master were a little bit too much. Though the ending was very good. The way I like it. P.S. Writing this decided to check up "Wikipedia" for names (my memory is bad remembering names) and what I read there saddened me. Well, not like I read manga, but it still s**** to know how story developed further. Most of them died, then reincarnated. What a hell! Couldn't they live happily? Though, if it is true, at least it seems that in their "other lives" they seem come together anyway. So maybe it isn't so bad, but still... EDIT: sweet version number 2. Two days absence of any anime... Before this "empty" period I spent one hour watching "Fireball" (DVDRip, subed by DATS) and "Fireball Charming" (HDTVRip subed by gg). Some random short show. Not bad. Animation was truly good. Main plus goes for that (all that computer generated stuff looked really cool). Would like to see that in 1920x1080. But oh well... Main minus goes for series being too short. They could have easily made 25 minutes OVAs, rather then putting everything in two minutes series. It was just... too quick. Secondary minus goes for "quick talk". Man, I'm slow reader and reading subs in these series was hell of a job. Characters were talking way too fast (and of course subs were shown accordingly). Despite that I can rate these series for 7/10. There were many funny moments.
  17. Chronicle. BDRip from... can't remember. Not my taste. Skipped almost all of it. Well, just kept watching parts where special effects were present. I think the main thing that irritated me (and obviously made me decide not to watch) was camera. Like in "Cloverfield" and some other movies (can't remember their titles). I just couldn't stand the whole concept of it. It was like the main characters new that they were only actors and was acting in the movie (well I can't explain it really). It just was unrealistic with that filming. So only 2/10 from me. By the way special effects were kinda good. And actors maybe... Can't say for sure.
  18. Last week was sad and boring. Couple of series and couple of let downs: 1. "The Legend of the Legendary Heroes". DVDRip from Exiled-Destiny. Was able to watch eight episodes or so, but couldn't handle more. Animation was good. However the minus here was the story and main character. Can't say for sure what I didn't like in the story; it's just was not so good as I expected it to be. And main character: nice looking guy, but I didn't like him much (not that I hated him, just he wasn't very my taste as being main hero). So only 3/10 from me. 2. "Zero no Tsukaima F ". HDTVRip subed by Hadena. Skipped after first episode. Get bored almost immediately. First season was superb, second good, third - average, fourth (this one) - bad. Either it went down the hill, either I got bored by it. For me four seasons was too much. So I just couldn't force myself to finish "ZnTF". Now if rate: 1st - 10/10. 2nd - 9/10. 3rd - 7/10. 4th - 2/10. The only good thing in "ZnTF" was animation. So that's that.
  19. "The thing". Many years ago. Stupid game. Good game, but stupid. Reason: way to hard to kill those monsters. They eat bullets like candies. You waste almost all your ammunition to kill one f**** bastard. And level bosses... :beat_brick: Mission impossible. As I recall I didn't finish this game as I couldn't beat one of them (can't remember at what level). And at that time I didn't knew any cheats, nor where to get them. Hmm, ... now asI think I could ddl it now and find some cheats to finish it... Hmm.. Scratch that! I have other things to do.
  20. My last week: 1. Clone of "Please Teacher" - "Ano Natsu de Matteru". HDTVRip in 1280x720, subed by Commie. Decent series. Nothing very spectacular, but averagely good: animation: 10/10 (nothing to add); story: 6/10 (like watching "Please Teacher" again; not that I disliked "PT" (I liked it very much by the way), but this anime was based too much on mentioned one; almost identical characters (main and secondary; identical appearance, behavior and so on), story based on the same plot (alien girl and nerd falling in love; complicated love relationships between... everyone); excluding these points I liked how the story developed, though the last to episodes kinda sucked); characters: 7/10 (if it were "stand alone" ones, it would have been good, but being almost exact copies of "PT" characters made me sad; too much similarities; apart that they were O.K. to deal with; though one big minus to Remon Yamano; I disliked her. Don't know why, though.). So overall something like 6/10. If not for last couple of episodes and too much being similar to "PT" I could have given it maybe even 9/10, but... 2. "Mirai Nikki" HDTVRip in 1280x720, subed by GotWoot. I expected much of it. Result: got even more than that. Marvelous series. Really very good: animation: 10/10 (the way I like it); story 10/10 (very good plot; maybe sometimes there were stupid moments, but they weren't very significant to influence all series;); characters: 10/10 (all of them were good, especially Yuno Gasai (I would like to have her for a girlfriend) and Minene Uryu). Overall I can give these series 10/10. I won't lie, I skipped some parts (but just because I was so inpatient to see what was going to happen next). So in conclusion I can say that my week was pretty rich: one decent and one very good series.
  21. Ha ha... What can I say. I'm just happy, that I'm not dying to see it. When it shows up, I'll watch it. But really as I'm not anticipating much, I can deal with it being OVAs and not series and can wait for... whole year? till all episodes will be released. Ha ha... one more time. Interesting way, how creators are dealing with true fans, who anticipating much of it. Happy, I'm not one of them.
  22. Now that is something that I can really enjoy. Style kinda reminded me of "Avatar" (artist, not movie). Nice melody, good vocal. I think I should later download it to my HDD. And this one from me: Emmure - Protoman
  23. I agree all the way. Watched it couple of weeks ago. There aren't enough words to describe it. Superb animation, superb story (though confusing at first), superb characters. 10/10 from me. Though was saddened by some characters death (especially young ladies). Though, I did enjoy these series to the fullest.
  24. I wish the same. For me it was a very great series. Nice animation, good story, lovable characters. One of better not so long ago finished series. Sadly only 8 episodes. Would like to see more.
  25. What can I say. "Seikon no Qwaser" nor hentai, nor anime you could watch when family members run around. I prefer only two types of animation: 1. when revealing things not too much (showing more or less skin, but with boundaries) / 2. hentai (showing everything ). Sadly "Seikon no Qwaser" didn't fit to any category. Anyway... My week: 1. "Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai!" HDTVRip in 1280x720 subed by rori. Not bad series, though nothing spectacular. Good animation (9/10), decent story 7/10), more or less decent characters (7/10). Overall 7/10 or something like that. Well, I really couldn't enjoy it more, because of main character. His "love" and sacrifice to his nieces wasn't very convincing. It just didn't seem very possible for student to take up a role as father and truly (in all his heart) feel like it. Well, at least he didn't look like type who could pull it off. So he was really the main minus in these series. Everything else: between average and good. 2. "Towa no Quon" BDRip in 1280x720 (like my PC could handle more than that), subed by Doki. 5/10. No more. Decent story (7/10), not bad animation (7/10), average characters (6/10). Main problem - main character (again). Way too kind, so kind that it is hard to believe that that type of people can exist. I was able to finish two episodes (of 6) from start to end, but all others were like twenty minutes of each. Really, main character just didn't suit my taste. So that's that. For now at least.
