  1. "Left4Dead 2" My current most favorite game. Man, as good as first part. Playing every evening now. Same maps, same character, same guns. And that already for couple of weeks. When I will get tired of this? Sadly my PC takes its time to load it, but whatever... Playing without "lag", so no problem.
  2. "Tales of Vesperia". Yesterday evening. Rather good stuff, though far from perfect. I liked animation and characters were somewhat good (blond guy wasn't very my type; twins on other hand were perfect; well, especially I liked that scene with "bigger one"; who watched that will know what I mean.) What I disliked about this show was story. Well, it was developed in the right way (with some minuses here and there), however... End credits! What was that? Second movie? Well, I know that this movie is based on game and that it is like prequel to game franchise, but still... If you are going to show some cool stuff at the end of the movie, be kind enough and produce second movie, where that "cool" stuff could be shown. Otherwise don't bother. I was like left on cliff, wondering "What's next?" I disliked that.
  3. I doubt that. Shows like this one tend to end without clear ending. Well, just in case it is popular enough to go for a second (or third, or fourth) season. Not like I complain. Seeing these series moving on into next season is good. Well at least I know that I will have something to watch next year.
  4. I kinda though she was nice. I liked her, though the show was average at best. And my past couple of days were not so good for watching/dropping/skipping anime. But somewhat managed to watch/skip one. It was "Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-chan!!". Well, didn't expect anything from it and my expectations were met. The only thing that attracted my attention was sexy main characters of this show. Everything else was of a low quality. Neither story, neither animation, neither anything else was worth spending with this show for more than half an hour for all episodes. But funny thing really... I still archived it in blank DVD. What's up with that? 2/10 from me.
  5. Weeks of cleaning. Sad... During this time many shows disappeared from my HDD. So sad. At least more space for other stuff. Well, only one of deleted shows was a little bit... not so bad as all other. And it was "Eureka Seven" movie "Good night, sleep tight, young lovers". Well, it was more memorable than the others, because it was the last one to be deleted . The good thing what I can say about this movie was animation. And it was HD. Everything else... Not worth mentioning. And that is kinda strange as I liked "Eureka 7" Tv series. It was superb. But I couldn't stand this movie. I wonder why? Well, maybe it was like a recap, though with totally different plot, different characters interactions and so on. But nonetheless, I disliked it.
  6. My last week was bad. Very bad. Nothing good to watch. All shows that I encountered were impossible to watch for one or another reason: "Rinne no Lagrange" (besides animation there wasn't anything worth my time), "Campione!" (Why Japanese try to mix some foreign mythical stuff, with their own? It is just... not right! Cliché series, with the only good thing: Erica Blandelli - she was hot!) and bunch of other shows which name I even can't recall. It is really bad. Well, I just hope that current airing shows will be much better. EDIT v1: "Minami-ke Omatase" OVA and "Upotte!!" OVA. Well, something random, but rather good. Nothing spectacular, but quite watchable. Neither one of these OVAs were different to it's predecessors (TV series) regarding animation, characters, but... No true story, just random happenings. Kinda sad. Well, it was good as I didn't expect much, but rather than OVAs I would like to see more like entire season of these shows. But whatever... I didn't regret spending 40 minutes of my evening watching these.
  7. Current stuff: "Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai". Average show. Three episodes yesterday. Reminds me much of "Shakugan no Shana", though that one was more serious than this one. Well, you could call it almost exact copy of Shana, just with some changes to more funny and more perverted stuff. This one's like border between what is allowed and what is not. Well, I'm not very into that kind of shows, but at least don't feel like dropping it. Yet at least. Will see how things will go on.
  8. Another week, another shows... Very good: "Tari Tari". Splendid from beginning till the end. Animation very good, story... so true life, characters amazing. Watching this show I really couldn't find any minuses in it. Maybe just a little bit more screen time for male cast, but whatever. I liked it nonetheless. So 10/10 from me. Average: "Chocolate". Animation good, characters as well. Main minus goes for story. Comedy and serious stuff doesn't combine very well. And one guy (technically) in club of bunch of girls... Too cliché. Well, at least ending was as it should be. With the kiss. 7/10. Bad: "Kuroko's basketball". Sports anime not for me. I liked cast of this show. Main character was just perfect. What I couldn't stand was story. At first seemed quite well made anime, but... I just can't watch sport related stuff. This is the truth. I wasn't been able to keep with it longer than eight episodes. So had to drop it. 2/10. But Kuroko was cool. I liked him. EDIT v1: "Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai" Another disappointment. Started as average, ended as bad. Too much boobs (because of it I even had misunderstanding with my brother, who mistook this show for hentai), not enough... dunno what. Well, too much concentration into nudity, not enough attention to story. Characters were good enough, though main one disappointed me after couple of episodes. Pervert is a pervert, funny as it should be, but he started to annoy me. Either way I expected a little bit more of this show, but in the end my expectations were crushed. 2/10. Lets EDIT v2: One good show: "Binbougami ga!". Really funny stuff. Nothing that would force me to not to like it. Animation was good, story as well. Characters... main protagonists were just perfect! It would be so cool to see second season of this. 10/10. Two bad shows: "Hagure Yuusha no Estetica" / "Soriton no Akuma". First one was bad because of... everything. Animation like from hentai source (dunno why I think so, but it kinda reminded me of hentai). Main character... started to hate him first minute I saw him. Story... didn't even bothered to understand it. This show was one of those who must be dropped after first episode. So I did it. Second one... too old. Maybe story wouldn't be so bad, but as I disliked animation (too old) I didn't bothered to continue watching it.
  9. At current moment watching "Tari Tari". And I like it. Everything in this show is just for me. Nice animation, good story, interesting characters. I already have watched eight episodes, so only four has left. Well, if ending won't suck, at this point I could give this show 10/10. Well, a little bit more background story for male cast would be good, as at the moment center of this show are female leads. But whatever... I still like it.
  10. "Natsuyuki Rendezvous". Good show. Nothing very "brilliant", but good enough to spent my evenings on it. One of the most mature shows I have seen in recent months. Serious, grown up story about love. Animation was good enough. Maybe the only minus here would go to design of Rokka. Short hair doesn't suit her. Short hair for Hazuki wasn't suitable as well. Story. Good. Mature stuff for more... experienced audience. I liked the way story progressed, though what I disliked was that... "dream" world or whatever. Ghost and stuff was O.K., but seeing Hazuki wondering that "underworld" felt a little bit stupid and out of place. Characters. I liked them. This is how real world works. Really convincing acting if you ask me. So overall something like 8/10. Good show, though not perfect. Now if you drop that "underworld" I think it would have been much better, because it was the main minus in this show. And short hair... here they didn't fit.
  11. Hm... It looks nicer this way. To me at least. The text becomes so... understandable, so easy describable... Either way after "bad" news on "Black Mesa" played "Star Wars" for a while, but now returned to "Dead Space 2". Well decided to replay old games. At least till new PC (not likely) or till "Black Mesa" is finished (like next year). "DS 2" : what a good old game. I love it. I think I should reinstall and first part... again...
  12. "Arcana Famiglia" What a boring show. Very, very disappointing. The begging of it was kinda intriguing, but later on... The only good thing in this show was Felicità. She was kinda cute... kinda... Though compared to other shows heroines she was lacking something. Don't know what really. Overall animation wasn't impressive, but was good enough. The main problem was story. Didn't catchy. And it really sounded so strange to hear Japanese language in Italian (I think) environment. It just didn't fit to image. Either way 1/10.
  13. "Prometheus". What a great movie! Really very good. All that special effects (especially it; so realistic), story, actors. Everything was just the way I wanted it to be. My evening with this movie was great. The only slight minus was that the "main star" of previous "Alien" movies didn't got enough screen time. Only couple of seconds in the end? That was kinda sad. Oh well, at least Ridley Scott managed to create a good movie and without showing much of "old stars". So 10/10 from me.
  14. "Hyouka" What a wonderful show. I liked it very much. 10/10 from me. Animation (10/10). Nothing more can be said about it. The design of characters were just the way I like it. Story (10/10). What can I say? Slow paste school life easy mystery/comedy. The best material there can be. No big surprises, just ordinary, easy life. Characters (10/10). I just like when main character is so... dull to everything around him. Kinda resembles me. All cast was great as well. And beauty of ladies... I can't be described in words how lovely they looked. Well, the second season of "Hyouka" would be just great, though for some reason I doubt that it would be like that. Dunno why. And ending... It was good as well, though I kinda wanted it to be more "ending" like (well, if there won't be second season that is). For example main protagonists declaring love, or at least somewhat near that stage. Oh well. Either way, 10/10 from me. And next "last" show: "Oda Nobuna no Yabou". Not bad show, though nothing impressive. Skipped here and there watching it, but overall kind enjoyed it. Very good animation (10/10), likable characters (10/10). Main problem was story (6/10). I myself not very into old Japan. All that samurai thing and such isn't my cup of tea. Well, it was entertaining at some point, but it wasn't so good as I could stuck with this show not rewinding it here and there. So 7/10 from me. P.S. Lolis were great!
  15. Just recently "was informed" that "Black Mesa" doesn't have last level. Oh crap! The alien world is absent from my current game. I was so disappointed by these news. Because of that I decided to halt playing "BS" (though there left only half an hour to play till it finishes at current stage) and returned to my previous favorite game - "Star Wars". Well, at lest till people at "Valve" finish developing last chapter of "Black Mesa".
  16. Continuing "Hyouka'. Last evening was great too. Next 4 "Hyouka" episodes. As well very good. No complains anywhere. Well, I have already seen 11 episodes so far and I haven't seen anything that would be bad. I guess I stumbled upon something that really could be called "the masterpiece".
  17. So, some new stuff after my last visit: GOOD: "Moyashimon Returns" My expectations were met. Very good show. I liked it from beginning to the end. Well, there were some minuses here and there, but it definitely was worth my time. Though, there was quite noticeable change in animation style, but it was O.K. Not so... "serious" as in first season (more "anime" style), but definitely good art. Story was good as well, especially when more "action" showed up (here I'm talking about trip to France). Though one slight minus goes for "education". There were more explanations about... stuff, than there were in first show. And characters... They were marvelous as always. I liked all of them. So 10/10 from me. BAD: "Accel World". Expectations were crushed after five episodes (or so). I was greatly disappointed by this show. Skipped entirely. Main minus goes for main character: too fat. Not visually attractive. And that I disliked. In anime main hero must be perfect (well, at least his looks). He was like Eric Cartman from "South Park". Well, at least that was funny as hell, but this one... real whimp... Well, though he matured over time, but that "mature" behavior was kinda... unreal. Not convincing at all. And beautiful, gorgeous lady fell in love with him? Oh, dear. That is so... lame. Even if they say that love never chooses (or something like that) this was too much. That scene when (what was her name?) she confessed loving him was so... stupid, so unrealistic. I just couldn't watch it seriously. Too lame. And when our main hero started to lecture others? He was such a wuss, but later on he become like true "hero" from fairytale. "I will protect her!", "I will never betray her", "You must not give up" and so on. Couldn't take that moments seriously. And scene when he got all angry (can't recall which episode it was). Piggy unleashed all his anger. Man, that was... stupid. Well, despite that all big minus, which screwed up entire show there were couple of good moments: avatar designs, fighting scenes, story itself. Well, the main plus goes for: And with "angel" expressions like that: how you could not love her? She is perfect in all ways! Sadly that creators decided to go with "experimental" dude as main protagonist of the series. Because of that I can only give it 2/10 at best. Well, liked first episodes at least.
  18. My current enjoyment: "Hyouka". Low paste stuff, but trully magnificent. Watched five episodes untill now and I must say that I like this show very much. Everything in it is perfect: animation, story, characters. Well, I can't say much as I really don't have anything bad to say about this show. Well, mauybe... No, there is nothing bad about it. 10/10 from me at this point. I just hope that it will continue to be good and in later episodes.
  19. Yet again... boring week. Well, at least my HDD now has more free space to use. "Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu". I'm to old to watch that kind of show. Though I liked animation, but story and characters were too... not for my age. So had to drop it after first episode. "Hell Girl". First season was good. Second and third was bad. Reasons: no English dub (voices were perfect in first season, so it was kinda awkward to read subs and listen to Japanese voices); random stories (it was just too boring to watch each new episode, which didn't have any connection to previous one); characters went downhill (as I recall in first season Enma and her servants were kinda... emotionless (more or less), but in later seasons they become more... human; that kinda saddened me). Dropped after 6 episodes. "Umineko no Naku Koro ni". Dropped after first episode. No, and no. Not my cup of coffee (what I'm talking about; I don't drink coffee). Didn't "grab" me. "When they cry" franchise obviously not for me.
  20. Finally, good news: "Moyashimon Returns". My current enjoyment. It was so long since I saw something so good. Well, not very good, but good. I was kinda scared by sudden change of animation, but as it turns out I like the way it looks. Really, the only thing that changed was animation (not that it turned into bad side; it was good in first season, it is good now). Everything else (characters, story) satisfies me. Waiting with joy to this evening. EDIT v1: Continuing watching "Moyashimon Returns". Three more episodes yesterday. Well, my anticipations were correct: really good show. No minuses. Well, maybe one: too short. 11 episodes definitely will be not enough.
  21. Half- Life revival... "Black Mesa" mod (or whatever). Well, old game resurrected for todays audience. Man this game rocks. Old levels, monsters and stuff, but in much, much better quality. Well, only some new "corners" considering story, but who cares. Great game! Though my PC kinda old for this "monster", but it is still able to run it decently. And it really was worth to waste all evening to get it working.
  22. In your dreams At the moment watching "Hell Girl" second season. Four episodes in three days. Kinda boring. Well, I didn't skipped it yet, though during these four episodes there were some doubts that I will continue, but... still watching. Will do that and this evening. What can I say? First season was better. Maybe because of English dub. As now I'm forced to watch subed version of it. So it sounds strange, but whatever. Other minus is that there is no real story, just random events during each new episode. And what's with emotions. As I recall in first season Enma and her underlings were quite emotionless, but now they are portrayed more with... human like behavior or so. It just seems not right. Either way as I continue watch this show maybe it will get better. Who knows...
  23. "Twilight" saga. All... four (if I'm not mistaken) movies in one evening. Well, it is obvious that I skipped almost all of the material. Movies for teenage girls, if you ask me. Some nice special effects, some good actors... Just story not for me. Well, I just watched best (I think) parts of each movie. Fighting scenes really, nothing more. So... like 2/10 from me. Werewolves looked cool.
  24. And I liked that movie. Very, very much. And if I read books (though that isn't going to happen; unless I wouldn't have access to net) I would like them even more. And my last addition to my movie list: "Dark Shadows". Bad movie. Brilliant (as always) Johnny Depp. Liked performance of his acting Barnabas Collins, but couldn't stand the movie itself. It was just... boring. At first seemed quite good, but after half an hour or so, I just couldn't force myself to watch it any longer. I was bored by it. I kinda liked atmosphere of movie (it was like times of hippies or what?), but script was just... not so Tim Burton. I don't know... His past movies were much better.
  25. "Yomigaeru Sora–Rescue Wings". Again, big disappointment. At first seemed quite good. So mature and stuff, but... Animation looked descent, characters as well were "portrayed" good enough (I mean their characters). The main problem in this show was story. It just didn't... "grab" me. I was able to watch four episodes before dropping it. Story just wasn't my taste. So only 2/10 from me.
