  1. Long time since I watched something called "live action". So here it is: "Oblivion". Science fiction movie with Tom Cruise (that guy got old). Good movie, well even better than expected. Not brilliant, but good enough to make my day better. Stunning visuals (main reason for watching it), not bad story (at least much better than expected; though with many questionable parts, mismatches and so on), decent actors (though was saddened that Morgan Freeman couldn't show his whole potential; deserved much better part in this movie / and about Tom,.. well he was much much better at "Interview with the Vampire"). Either way let's give it 8/10.

    EDIT v1:

"World War Z". Surprisingly good one. Well, this one was in my plans to watch, but to say the truth I didn't expect much of it. Seeing Brad Pitt playing family loving father was a little bit strange. But... after couple of minutes into the movie I realized that it (movie itself) might be not so bad. And further this movie went, better it got. And in the end I was very pleased. Nice special effects, nice story, maybe just that all "family" thing wasn't very my taste. 9/10. Very good zombie movie. Much better than expected, though could have shown more "colossal action" scenes towards the end (like in Israel).

"The Colony". As expected: bad. Well, I like dark movies, but this one was boring. Nice atmosphere, but overall like "B" movie. Good actors, decent special effects (not much though). Story (sadly) wasn't anything good. So dropped it. Not like expected anything else, so no worries from my side.

    EDIT v2:

"After Earth" 7/10. Rather good, but expected more. Nice special effects, not bad actors (won't badmouth Will Smith; he always is good; though I question decision to put his son as lead; not very suitable; not bad, but missing something), somewhat lacking story (too much talks, not so much adventures on forgotten Earth). Either way didn't ruined my evening, so was happy about that.

    EDIT v3:

"Pacific Rim". Was disappointed by it. It was only one movie that I was waiting eagerly to see, but sadly after seeing it realized that I was waiting for nothing. Had to skip a lot. Special effects were marvelous; all that fights with kaiju (or whatever) really were impressive, but sadly that was the only good thing. Actors so so, acting not better and story lame. I'm not saying this movie was bad; it was rather good - average, but sadly I expected much more out of it. 7/10 or less maybe.

  2. Not so good week this time and from looks of it nothing better for the rest of the summer as well. Two so so shows:
"Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai 2" As expected: nothing good. Well, after half of the show realized that it was nothing compared to first season. Was quickly bored. Well, managed to watch till the end, but sadly the end result was disappointing. And what's up with harem at the end. At first I though about this show something like love triangle, but along the way it went down to harem. Bad choice. Not very suitable for this show. In the end I could give it no more than 5/10. And that's only because of first season.
"Carnival Phantasm". Another not good, but not very bad show. Well, no true story just funny scenes, where better not try to look for reasonable story. Was interesting to see favorite characters from "FateStay Night" and "Shingetsutan Tsukihime" doing absurd things, though I was quite fast bored by it. 6/10. Some memorable scenes in overall boring (sometimes funny) show. Spend only one evening on it (as episodes only 10 minutes or so long) so wasn't disappointed much.

  3. "Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai 2". My current show. Lets face it: it's not first season. Sadly, but it isn't as good. Five episodes yesterday and a lot of skipped scenes. So sad considering how I liked first season. Well, remembering first one I strongly can say that those BD episodes (not TV version) wasn't to my liking much either. Though I liked it, my interest in it was lower compared to TV version. And this second season... Well, it went downhill further. Despite animation being good and despite nice characters I just can't force myself to like it much. Story just... not interest me. Either way I will continue watching it, but seeing how "good" it is for me now, I doubt that the end result will be any better.

  4. Very good week. Sadly though that it is already finished. Three great shows:

"Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge". From start to end have no complaints on this one. Animation good, story as well, nothing bad to say about characters too. Well, the real minus (if you can call it that way) is unfinished story. Well, from last minutes of last episode it is obvious that second season is a must, but sadly no one knows when it will come out. Either way: 10/10. I liked it. Even not being into hair fetishism, I wasn't bothered by it.

"Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru." Another good show. Well, maybe not so good as first one (regarding storyline), but liked it nonetheless. Animation good, story likewise and characters were the way I like it. Let's give it 9/10. There were couple of skipped scenes, but overall it was truly good show. A little bit better conclusion could be shown (like confessing, like kiss or whatever), but more or less I was satisfied and with ending.

"Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san Z". Good one, sadly not as good as it's first season. Can't say anything bad about animation, neither about characters, maybe just story seemed sometimes not my taste. Despite liking it I think something better could have been made. Hard to say but first season seemed to have strange charm to it. This one, though funny as well, was missing that charm. Either way I still can give it 9/10.

  5. My English isn't good either, so no worries. Considering "Air Gear": I disliked this one. Though liked animation, everything else wasn't my style. BTW:  Ringo was cute.

And as for my last shows:

"Hataraku Maou-sama!" 10/10. Long time since I saw something so funny, so easy, so good. Animation 10/10, story 10/10, characters 10/10. In all aspects this show was just top notch. No single minus. Best parts was seeing my dear Emi's face expressions. It just "killed" me every time. All in all 10/10!!!

"Suisei no Gargantia" 10/10. Another wonderful show. This time a little bit serious one. Again... Animation 10/10, story 10/10, characters 10/10. What can I say? I'm lucky this time. Though, maybe more fighting scenes would have been better, but the ones that there was, was good enough. 10/10!!! Again...

  6. "Hataraku Maou-sama!" My current enjoyment. Very, very good show. Funny, packed with some action. Five episodes yesterday. Can't wait for this evening as well. At the moment can't find a single minus of it. 10/10

    EDIT v1:

Continuing "Hataraku Maou-sama!". Only four episodes left. Still no minuses. I really like it. And still 10/10. If to mention the best thing it would be Emi's face expressions. Man, when she gets angry... I just love her scary eyes!

EDIT v2:  "Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge". Weeks of good shows continues. Another worth my time. 10/10. Five episodes yesterday and no bad things about it. Animation good, story as well, no minuses for characters either. This evening will be cool as well. No doubts about that.

EDIT v3: Another four episodes yesterday. This show gets better. My expectations were met! Last episodes this evening. Sadly, that tomorrow have to go to work, so that kinda diminishes anticipation of this evening.

  7. My last finished shows. Bunch of dropped ones (won't mention) and some not dropped (will mention):

"Chitose Get You!!" Funny, short one evening show. Random stuff, with nothing much happening. Liked it. Well, it was short enough not to get bored by it. If it were longer maybe it wouldn't be so good. But as it was I can give it 8/10.
"The Skullman" Liked at the begging, disliked last episodes. Animation average but good enough not to dislike it, characters more or less likable, story... decent. Well, was intrigued by it at the begging, but sadly further it went worse it get. All that "detective" stuff was good, though when the truth came out was a little bit disappointed. Dunno why, but when "mystery" was solved and all cards were shown this show just went bad. 6/10. Good start, bad second half. And ending... One of those "bad ones".
"Red Data Girl". 10/10. Now that was marvelous creation. Wasn't expecting it to be so good. Animation 10/10, characters 10/10, story 9/10 (was missing something). To say the truth as this show was lacking only "a little bit something" in scenario section can't say much about it. I just liked it all. Oh yes. Wanted to see "kiss", but... Was good enough and without it.

  8. Bunch (again) dropped shows and one a little bit better. Not good, but decent enough: "Chitose Get You!!". Short, 3 minutes episodes. Funny, and quite cute sometimes. Though wouldn't give it more than 7/10, enjoyed it much more than anticipated. Taking in account and that fact that couple previous weeks weren't so "rich".

  9. Who knows really. I think this show was popular enough to bring another season or even movie. As there are really less popular shows that have more than one season... I think... Though sadly, but I doubt that "SAO" 2 or whatever you name it would come out soon.

    Either way... As for me...

Yet another worthless/empty/boring week in the anime shows front. Didn't encounter a single series that would peek my interest. So to mention couple of dropped ones: "Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku o!", "Hayate no Gotoku!" movie and third season and something more... With so many disappointments just had to start reading books, sadly "experiment of eating" electronic" ones isn't going very smoothly. So "skipping" anime shows at each evening becomes like ritual to me. Hopefully this season ends soon, as at least now I see a bunch of shows that really should be good.

  10. The exact thing that I thought about it. Very good show, sadly too rushed. And season 2? Didn't hear anywhere that there will be one... Though, that would be not bad.

And as for my last stuff: poor week. Just another batch of dropped/skipped shows: "GJ-bu!", "Little Busters", and some other. None worth my time this week. Oh well, more free time on my hands.

  11. Some good shows like "Seitokai no Ichizon Lv.2" and "Little Witch Academia".
First one was good. Good continuation of first season. No real plot, just random funny stuff in student council. Nice (must say improved compared to first season) animation, funny characters and not serious story. Liked it. Not much, but enough not to skip a minute. 8/10 or so,... or more. One sad thing though. Kinda was disappointed how this show ended though. Wanted to end like in first season (with possibility for other seasons), but... Oh well...
Second one was good, but not as good as first one. Short, funny OVA. Liked animation of it, characters, just story seemed a little bit not my type. But as it was only 20 minutes the time flew so fast, that I really didn't have time not to like it. So 7.5/10 for it... or maybe and whole 8/10.

Some bad shows like "Zettai Karen Children: The Unlimited" and... some others that names can't remember. As I had some expectations of mentioned one I was truly disappointed how bad it was. Animation bad (design of characters so... not my taste), characters them selfs not inspiring and story... Can't say anything good about it either. So 1/10.

  12. I dropped Shinsekai Yoi after a couple of episodes, just didn't hook me

Just completed Psycho Pass, 10/10. Really great series, thought provoking with memorable characters

Well, there was episode after which I wanted to drop it as well (mentioned "boys love" episode), but was happy not to do so.

And as for my last one: "Love Live!" Low expectations, low result. Wasn't disappointed, as didn't expect anything. Dropped after first episode. Just not my type. Only not so bad thing was animation.

  13. "Shinsekai Yori" Wonderfull show. Time just flew by watching it. Really was surprised how good it was. Wasn't expecting that. Very, very good story (except that "boys love" part; "shocked" me a little bit; could have been avoided), very good characters, though animation was kinda low level. Sometimes felt like in some episodes it downgraded even more. So shame on animators. Could have done better. Overall very good series despite already mentioned couple of minuses.

P.S. For some reason felt so sad that

Maria and Mamoru didn't end happily. Though it is more or less known how they could have died, but I hoped that it would have been explained more detailed in last episodes. Sadly that it didn't happen.

    Another strange thing:

Started hating Squeara after some time (well, didn't like him much from the first time when saw him). Especially during the end (knowing what he has done) but... In the last episode really felt sad for him as well. Well, he was fighting for his kind and punishment he got was harsh. So was kinda happy what Saki did with him in the last minutes of last episode.

  14. Bunch of dropped shows recently: "Tamako Market", "Kotoura", "Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?", "Hells", "Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas" and some other that names I can't remember. Can't say much about either of them. They were just boring / lame / stupid for one or another reason. One good thing about all this batch though: more space in my HDD. Sadly, don't have anything to put in that "free" space.

  15. Last finished so so show: "Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru". Nice animation, good characters, boring story. One of those many that will be forgotten quite fast. Maybe 6/10 or even less. Hoped for better one.

And last finished masterpiece: "Evangelion '3.33 You Can (Not) Redo'". Now this was something marvelous. So dark, so serious, so... confusing. Well, as Evangelion and should be.
-- Animation top notch. I was just fascinated how cool it looked. Perfect!
-- Characters... well no minuses here as well. They all had their own reasonings and they all were interesting in their own way. Sadly though, that not all of them had enough screen time (wanted to see more of Asuka (her new look was... good; I liked it) and Mari (sexy as always); sometimes felt that they were like secondary characters).
-- Story... Confusing as hell, but it was to be expected. So just turned of my thinking and reasoning ares of my brain and enjoyed this movie to the fullest. Despite liking "dark" atmosphere of this one, was saddened that there really weren't any funny moments. And I was so disappointed that couldn't see more interactions between Shinji, Asuka and Rei. It felt so... unfinished, so... Dunno how to express myself. Not enough warm human interaction maybe. At times seemed like this movie was created to f***** u* Shinjis brain. Felt sad for him. No friends, no comrades and everybody were using him like some kind of tool. Even Misato who was so close to him (at least in TV series) and Asuka who was like big sister (lover or whatever) acted so cold towards him. At some point I really couldn't distinguish between good guys and bad ones and wished that Shinji went crazy and killed them all and be done with it.

Despite some negative things in storyline I can give this one BIG 10. Though at first didn't expected much of the third one I was just fascinated how good it was.

  16. "Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo". So so. At first seemed really good, but sadly the further it went, the worse it get. Well, it wasn't so bad, but skipped a lot in this show. After ten episodes or so it started to become really "not my type". Main reason was seriousness of this show. Expected more of comedy type (well it was comedy), but when drama took over had to give up. It just wasn't what I expected. So 5/10.
