  3. Lately I've been really into VIXX and Mamamoo, and I still love Miss A and 2PM. I like other groups too, but those four are the ones I mainly pay attention to.

Let's talk biases!!! Here are mine for my four favorite groups:

    Miss A - Jia

    2PM - Chansung

    Mamamoo - Hwasa

    VIXX - Ken

  4.

Do witches count? Cause I might have a possible entry if so.

Probably if it looks hellish enough.  LOL

Yeah, it just depends. I mean, there's plenty of folklore associating witches with hell and the devil and all that. But that's certainly not the case in all works of fiction. Like Harry Potter, for example. Haha!!!

    Theme: Dragons & Armies

Is this Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII? If so, what does he have to do with hell? If I remember correctly, he wasn't really a vampire or demon. It's more of a running joke due to the similarities, right? Wasn't he a regular dude until Hojo's experiments gave him supernatural abilities? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It's been a while.

  7. VOTING

    RULES:

    • All votes are to be submitted by Friday, March 13th.
    • To vote, reply to this thread, listing your top three signatures IN ORDER. First place gets three points, second gets two points, third gets one point; the person with the most points wins.
    • Along with your vote, you may say why you picked the signatures you picked, and/or leave constructive criticism for any entry you wish. Do not feel that you have to, but you may if you want.
    • Keep in mind the theme and the connection between the theme and the signature. Please do not vote for the render/image, but for the OVERALL signature you think looks best.
    • Avoid favoritism.
    • You may not vote for yourself.

    EXAMPLE:

Sally - Fit the theme the best.
Bob - Text could have been better.
Anna - Render placement was a little off.

  8. Voting is now open!!!

After speaking with Athena, we've decided to bring back the first, second, third choice voting format. We're going to use that format when we have four or more entries, and we'll use a poll if we have two or three entries. Obviously, if we only have one entry (or none!!!), we'll have to extend the deadline.

Please see this post for rules and entries.

  9. Haha, but I'm seriously considering having both voting systems in place for either circumstance. The first, second, third voting format truly is the superior one. It's a lot more fun, more fair, and it seems to lower the chance of ties. It also encourages more discussion and keeps the threads alive. Polls are easier, but they're also extremely boring.

But I like the idea of having the poll as a Plan B when activity is too low in a given week. I like that more than pushing back deadlines, because I rather keep the contests flowing.

I feel like activity is picking up a little, anyway. Maybe because now we can make entries over the weekend?

  10.

Lol, two ties in a row

I think I remember now why we switched to the other voting format. There were too many ties with a poll, haha!

Haha, I think we're screwed either way. The reason we went back to the polls is because it was getting to the point where we weren't getting enough entries each week and we kept having to push back deadlines. I love the first, second, third place format, but it requires at least four entries (since participants can't vote for themselves), and there were several weeks where that didn't happen and then the deadline had to be pushed back. At least the poll only requires two entries. But now all of a sudden, more people are participating, so maybe we can go back to the other voting format? I don't even know. Maybe we're getting more participation because now people can work on their entries over the weekend?

Lol, it's impossible to make everyone happy. Some people were acting like they prefer the poll format anyway. I'm good with whatever.

Oh, I know! What if we do the first, second, third format if there are enough entries, and we do the poll if there aren't enough entries?
