  1. Kaze no Stigma (Complete Series Dvd), The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Season 1 Complete Series DvD), and Naruto Shippuden - Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 (Xbox 360).

When I buy anime DvDs, I always buy it if it comes in a box set or when they put all episodes in one box. I guess I like having everything all at once rather than just volume by volume. :)

  2. Chris Patton - His most memorable voice for me was Sousuke Sagara in Full Metal Panic!

Crispin Freeman - Dude, this guy is a great voice actor. You should check out his commercial demos! Oh, and who else could've dubbed Kyon in English? Perfect match.

Wendee Lee - Yes, I don't think any other English voice actor could've voiced Haruhi Suzumiya. Very energetic voice acting!

Steve Blum - A man of...many voices in the Anime world. His voice acting is so cool. Him playing as Spike Spiegal and Orochimaru were some roles I liked him in.

Johnny Yong Bosch - A good voice for heroes like Ichigo Kurosaki.

Brad Swaile - In my opinion, his portrayal of Light Yagami was excellent! I love how he did that potato chip scene! It's almost as good as that "over 9,000" line done by Vegeta's VA!

Monica Rial - She just happens to have a good voice for female anime characters.

  3. Dragonball Evolution did not stick to the original story. I doubt a Bleach live action movie in the U.S. would do any better.

But if the movie was made in Japan...like what they did with Deathnote, it may be decent. But then again, I didn't like the Deathnote live action too much either.

  4. Honestly, I don't want him to end up with Sakura or Hinata. They should just throw in another Kunoichi who's much cuter and stronger....but seriously, Romance isn't even a theme in Naruto manga/anime, so reality says he's gonna end up with no one. Well, at least they won't show it in the manga/anime that is...

  5. Shoot, I didn't count but i'm pretty sure its over 20 by now.... There are at least 5 or so that I didn't complete cause the story was kinda making me sleep... I've dropped at least 3 series that I've checked out after 2 episodes... and I'm picking up at least 3 new series. It never ends...hahahahaha!

  6. Well, everyone here has good suggestions, I would personally start with Death note, and then go on to the other recommended series. However, one thing you should know is that anime has a lot of genres and themes to pick from. Once you get into watching anime, you might find that a particular style/genre/theme might appeal to you. Just pick out any series you're curious about and watch it. Who knows, you might hate it, you might like it. You might even become an "Otaku" in the end. Oh, and you'll find out what that means later on if you don't already know...

  7. I think everyone has their own take on what "the meaning of life" really is. For many young people, like myself, we are still trying to find out what that is....and that's natural. I believe, that as time goes by, and we gain more experience from life itself, which includes happy moments to tragic events we must endure, and these experiences help us shape the definition for what we think the "meaning of life" is. We can't have a simple post on a thread, like mine, even define what the "meaning of life" is for others. Its something special we all have to find on our own.

  8. I don't know which to pick, sometimes both are good, sometimes the Manga is better than the Anime adaptation....but usually its the Manga version that gives birth to the Anime version.
