  1. It was better than I thought it was going to be, but considering how amazing the X-Men are... I was still a little disappointed. I know that they are not trying to go with the comic books, but I dislike it when they are claiming to give back-story on the characters, yet it they have no basis. First Class was a little better than Origins in that regard, but I was still shaking my head through half the movie. Compared to the first X-Men movie, where they pretty much made up a new story and threw the characters together in a way that didn't conflict with the comics, it is a pretty big step down. I am glad so many people liked this movie though... Maybe some of them will try out the comics!
  2. Yeah, I pretty much just dropped what I was watching to give this series a shot too. I only read the first half because I was already sold and didn't wanna risk spoilers, but I am really glad you wrote it because I loved the anime.
  3. 6.5/10 Not very colorful, kinda looks bland. I also think people shouldn't put knives in their mouths.
  4. If you don't go to the glitched spot, Crawmerax The Invincible would be my choice. Borderlands is a great game, but this boss is ridiculous. You practically need for people with fantastic gear and leveled up to the max. I know some pearlecent weapons can make it easier, but good luck finding them without beating Craw. Of course... since you can go to the glitched spot, he might not be considered the hardest boss. With that in mind I think Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts (not to be confused with his less angry FFVII and KH2 counterparts... compared to this game, those ones are pushovers,) might take the hardest boss cake. Descend Heartless Angel still haunts me sometimes.
  5. Granted, but they are too big to fit. I wish I had a comfortable bed.
  6. If you liked Baccano! then you really should give DuRaRaRa!! a try(usually I tell people the inverse, but this works too,) and I think from the list as a whole, I would say Vandread is right up your alley. The sho is a bit misleading at start, since it takes on a Haremish setting, but it actually has a decent story, and a fantastic ending if you can make it that far.
  7. It isn't a perfect match or anything, but I think you might like Gokusen, and if that doesn't work out, maybe Welcome to the NHK since it seems like you enjoy good, flawed characters, and there is no better anime for that.
  8. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Harem_anime_and_manga This link will probably be a good resource for you, but I think that if you just want the longest series, Love Hina might be pretty close. I can't say I know much about it though since all I did was Google it... I figured someone should though.
  9. No, I detest Hentai's vilification of innocent octopuses. You could be doing something more productive right now.
  10. Empire Strikes Back was amazing. Yoda, Cloud city, Hoth, one of the most bad ass "I love you" responses ever, Lando, and you find out the shocking truth about Luke's father!!!
  11. Definitely this one. I have watched a little bit of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and as girly as the name sounds, the show will probably be just as much fun for you to watch as it is for them, If adorable animals fails to win them over, I suggest School Rumble. It is really funny, and is very watchable for older people.
  12. I think you might be interested in Summer Wars. It is a movie, so it won't take you long to watch. You may also like Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, but it is a kinda sad at times.
  13. Lupin the III might be up your alley, and I highly recommend the Lupin the III vs Detective Conan movie if you end up liking that series. Detective School Q may also give you something to watch.
  14. 996,855 is my favorite number... how lucky is that?
  15. Thank you, and I will if I can think of anything I cant find.

  16. Not my favorite anime, but I did watch all of it. I am not sure of what shows you have seen, so I apologize if I suggest something you already watched. I really liked s-CRY-ed, but that might be a little too unrealistic of a story. If you haven't seen Samurai 7 you might like it. Though it is a fantasy story, Avatar: The Last Airbender would probably fit the best. I doubt you will listen to me on this one, but there is actually a decent street fighter anime out there called Street Fighter II V. Its not the greatest show ever made, but it is interesting and not completely ridiculous like some of the movies.
  17. I know you can't win a duel with this card, but I have done the next best thing ever since I bought my first starter deck all those years ago: stalled until I could win. I currently use an Exodia deck, and this card got the most play while Jinzo and Royal Decree were huge. This is only a temporary solution, but you can set up a huge defense in three turns, and the fact that it goes away stops many people from using spell destroyers (and further prevents people from using giant trunade) Finally, it is one of the few stalling cards that allow you to simultaneously mount an offensive force, since it does not prevent you from attacking at all, unlike nightmare steelcage, level limit area B, Messenger of peace, and gravity bind. This card isn't for everyone, but in as a last resort it can come in handy.
  18. I know a couple that might fit. You might enjoy Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ based on your list. I can't help mentioning a few popular animes though since that list is pretty short, I apologize if you have seen them. Cowboy Bebop, and the movie. FLCL. Yu Yu Hakusho. If you are willing to give an anime movie a shot, Paprika seems like something you would like.
  19. Well, if you want a decent Sci-fi Anime, I would suggest Scrapped Princess. This is a fantastic anime if you give it time. If you want a TV series you should watch FireFly. If you are looking for a good book, I would suggest looking into the expanded universe of Star Wars. There are many great authors, and it will take you years to read all of the books. Some of my favorites can be stand alone titles, such as Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter, and The Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy.
  20. Tiger and Bunny is a very good series going on right now, but it is subs only. The show is action oriented, but very humorous and has a great cast and story. Gungrave is a Dub that you have probably heard of. It is not a very funny anime, but it is one of my favorites.
  21. Yoruichi, I love a long tail and lots of fur.... and that deep voice :L
  22. My girlfriend and kittens... sometimes the order is blurred though.
