  1. I had to think about this for a while, but then I remembered! There were more than two Death Notes in the human world. Technically, there were four. The one Ryuk kept, the one Light picked up, the one Rem gave Misa, AND the one Rem kept. After Rem died, Light took her Death Note from the ashes and hid it from the task force. And THAT is the Death Note that the task force has during the Near confrontation!

As far as how Light kept his memories, that's explained by the third Death Note. I'm pretty sure Light was still technically in ownership of Rem's old Death Note, so he kept his memories. Either that or he was still technically the owner of Mikami's book, but man, the ownership rules of the Death Notes are really complicated. It's possible that at the end of the series Light was technically the owner of both Death Notes, but it's really hard to keep track of when the book is simply changing hands versus actually changing owners. Maybe a reread would clear that up!

  2. Nier had the saddest ending of any game I've played. Outwardly, a couple of the endings could be considered kinda happy(the first two endings, specifically). But when you actually think about it, you realize that no matter which ending you get....The world is pretty much ending.

  3. Puella Magi Madoka Magica! I didn't read about it beforehand(I rarely do), so I expected it to be a cutesy magical girl anime, but it had me hooked from the first scene!

Also, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai was surprisingly good. I don't watch many shows like that, so I was pleasantly surprised when it hooked me ^^

And of course, Eden of the East and One Piece were both better than I expected. I knew EoE would be good, I just didn't know how much I'd love it. And I honestly thought One Piece would be really lame XD How silly I was. So, so silly.

  4. Am I the first vote for VI? D: I'm surprised that so many people are referring to 7-10 as the golden age of these games, I'd expand that to be 1-10. They're all really great, but after 10 they get a little...well, we all know that already.

Anyway, Final Fantasy VI is my overall favorite Final Fantasy game. The characters and plot are spectacular, and Kefka is 100% my favorite villain of all the games. My second favorite game would be Final Fantasy IX, followed by VII. I could never get through VIII. I've only been able to get through the first 2 hours or so because I find it unbearable ~_~ I've heard it's a really good game so I plan to finish it someday, I'm just finding it very difficult to get through the begining XP

  5. My favorite dubs? Well, my absolute favorite right now is Durarara!! Really, I just love what they did with the dub, all the characters sound great, and I love all of Masaomi's lines! XD I also loved the Death Note dub. I do think that L's voice should've been more monotone(what an odd criticism o.o), but the actor made it work in my opinion ^^

I also love the Princess Tutu dub. Mytho's voice sounds awkward at first, but it's not too bad ^^ Honorable mentions to FMA, Code Geass, and Black Butler ^^

  6. Man, I loved the Super Mario Bros movie D: Well...mainly for the lulz. So, ya, I guess it is the worst video game movie adaption I've seen!

It's been so long since I saw the Mortal Kombat movie, was it really that good? Maybe I should rewatch it sometime. But, from the movies I remember, I think Prince of Persia is the best ^^

  7. I like anime. This is an anime place. WOOHOO :3

But anyway, hello everyone ^^ I am new here, obviously... I hope that the conversations I have with all of you will be awesome :D

    YA ANIME.

    Peace out.
