  1. I don't unless I ABSOLUTELY have to. Reason being, on XP I can only activate it 5x using the same key before the key becomes invalid so with limited amount of times to install I never wanted to use them all up. This PC definitely could use a fresh install but I'm too lazy to bother with it and probably wont until it just flat out doesn't work. It's already to the point that a lot of stuff doesn't work, gives off errors, and it freezes up sometimes but meh.
  2. I have a SeaGate 500GB portable hard drive and my computer's hard disk is only 90 GB (All drives combined) so i store all the anime on my portable harddrive and it is connected to my pc 24/7 so i wanted to ask will this reduce its life??

i sometimes end up doing computer for around 12 hours and i have to keep it connected as almost all my data is in it so is this safe????

  3. Thank you I will have to try that one as well.

ImgBurn Is a very decent program that's perfectly suited for your interests and is more than worth looking into. It has the ability to burn DVD Video files as well as a multitude of other uses such as burning ISO files and creating ISO files from files or discs alike. I'd recommend it a thousand times over

  4. I'd recommend WinAvi Video Converter.

It's not hard to find it on the web and if you have any troubles unlocking it just shoot me a pm. I won't talk about anything uneccesary here though seeing as I'm sure thats against the rules.

It's pretty clean all-in-all and you also have the built in menu creator that comes with it which is perfect in case you decide to burn some of what your going to convert, good solid conversions from most major formats. I've been using it for quite some time now and it's never done me wrong.

Handbrake(click the word for the website, it's BBCode) is also a nice project worth looking into.

EDIT: didn't even see the admin above me post a link to handbreak lol.

  5. Herro everyone, just joined the forums obviously. Looks like a pretty good setup and I have a feeling I'll enjoy my time here. I'm a huge anime fan, and an even bigger game fan so I think I'll fit right in here.

Any forum go-er worth his own salt brings something to the table. Hardcore geek and professional programmer here aswell as desktop support technician, so if any of you guys have question or are having trouble with any version of windows, get in contact with meh.

Hope to get to know alot of you and chop it up just the same.

    To great beginnings!

  6. I've been highly anticipating this game ever since I saw the first official trailer with jin vs ryu. I think it'll be nice and to this day I still play SSFIV and Tekken 6 both religiously so I guess we'll see what happens.

I gotta be honest though, in the fighting genre I'm still waiting on SSFIV Arcade Edition to drop more than anything :)

  7. Im one of those guys that doesnt get put off by ratings of games and movies. i believe you have to try it yourself to judge it (especially if your a fan). but im sorry, for that price, i rather play it somewhere else and then decide if i want it. i do miss that beer drinking bastard!! sooooo, maybe i should take a look into the subject...... "Hail to the king baby"

Vouch this post 100%. I have to say honestly though I don't see why every new game that comes out is $60...... Their making plenty of cash in the gaming industry already especially considering gaming is becoming more and more popular. It's somewhat discouraging to know that everything your anticipating on playing is going to cost almost as much as one of your bills though.
