  1. I will reserve judgement for when the season finishes, but so far Terra Nova has been well, predictable to say the least.

Last week or two weeks ago, there was that episode with the virus that made everybody forget, but our hero was infected, despite being exposed. I instantly though that he wasn't getting infected because of his cold (im pretty sure that plot has been used every where, im thinking i saw in TNG or Stargate). His wife is like wait! it has to be that thing your chewing on! Well ok, i guess that makes sense, then nope is was the cold, but it took her like an extra minute to figure it out. Also this weeks episode? meh, i called the ending as soon as the girl said she had a brother. Although there are some promising things about it, so i'll be sticking with it.

    Another addition to my favorites

Falling skies, think the walking dead, but replace zombies with aliens and AMC replaced with TNT. Not as good as the walking dead, but not bad.

Also Game of Thrones, common season two!

  2. Hi guys!

I been slowly watching gundam starting with Seed, then 00 and now im 9 episodes left in wing.

But i've been wondering about all the series of gundam in the universal century timeline. Where do i begin? Honestly there are like tons! So any help would be great.

Also any other suggestions for Scifi/mecha/military anime?

    So far what i've watched

    Black Lagoon

    Darker than black

    Cowboy bebop

    Gundam Seed

    Gundam 00

    Gundam wing

    Area 88

    Burst Angel

    Outlaw Star

    Trigun

    The irresponsible captain tylor

I liked every one except Trigun (i felt it was too slow)

    Thanks for the help!

  3. When i read you OP, at first im initial though: yes = yes, No = no, and maybe(ah yes the dreaded and completely incoherent maybe)= a kind no

But after reading the rest of your posts i lean towards either wait it out and take is slow (although in my experience this can lead to them trying to make you their not-gay-gay-friend, not a good spot if your looking for a relationship) or the serious talk (as suggested right above). I also just that in the mean time spend time with her and hang out waiting for the "opportune moment". I'd wait a bit before you ask her out again.

I say, that us posters are a a significant disadvantage in suggesting anything other than a general "plan". If we were a map, we just be a large arrow point north. You'll have to figure our everything else. Generally middle school-early high school stuff can be pretty delicate and i would offer different advice if you whether you were in College or high school. Also we don't know a ton about your personality or (perhaps more importantly) hers. I would highly suggest you talk to a trustworthy friend (preferably in a relationship) who knows you both.

Also id like to see a girl comment on this and see her POV.

If i've learned just one thing about girls, they are unpredictable and predictable thus making them a paradox of sorts, also guys tend to think linearly, girls do a sort of improbability drive thing.

(cookies to those who get my hitchhiker's references)

keep in mind, my only credentials are watching pretty much every episode of How i met your mother and a bit of real life, so yeah.....

    Good luck.

  4. man for me its a toss up between Flay Alister from SEED and Shinn from SEED destiny. I really really hated Flay just because how she was manipulating the characters. I dislike Shinn just because his character didn't have any character arc to speak of, even Flay got a bit of a redemption. Shinn was just generally unlikable the length of the whole series. Plus he couldn't make any decisions on his own, he just did what Rey told him. Athrun "im gonna switch sides" Zala wasn't much better either, but at least he had a bit of character development. Honestly the female characters (the two Hawke sisters) were much stronger characters and more likable. I disliked a good part of the first season of 00 because all of the characters had Shinn overwhelming esque traits, thankfully they grew out of it.

Special mentions: Patrick Colasou (Gundam 00), Kyohei Tachibana (Burst Angel, seriously WTF is his point in the series? He just seems to be there to introduce the characters)

  5. i just it yesterday in good'ol 2D. And man. Im not sure what to think.

This is the first Transformers movie i've seen. Wow, just wow. Not the good wow either.

They totally use the chick like an object who needs to be saved. And the part when she got up to look though the telescope? Wow, not that i mind a smoking hot chick tho.

The first half was all very painful comedy. Then there was fighting for like an hour. I got kinda bored, i mean everything started to stop making sense. CGI was great tho!

Megatron is barely in the show, i think Ken Jeong got more screen time. (on that topic, WTF was Ken Jeong doing in there!?!). Optimous who is supposed to be bad ass, kills one decepticon (all be it a big one) and then gets tangled in wires! WTH! an we don't see him to the end. Plus the part with bubble bee who saves Sam, and we cut to something else and he's a prisoner being executed in the next? I guess there's a deleted scene in there. Also what is with the cheesy pop songs? I burst out laughing at the end

All that said, i still enjoyed myself. I though about for awhile i though maybe it was the lack of plot that i didn't like, but then i remembered i really like death race. I guess its just he awkward comedy i didn't like.

  6. In most shows the main characters all have plot armour, but shows are getting gusty nowadays.

In any case, i don't think they will. But i kinda hope they do (although i really like Becket), just because it makes it a show where anybody can die. Otherwise it just like waving a magic wand and "poof" everything is back to normal.

Alternatively they could pull a Lockon Stratos....hmmm

  7. I believe you are talking of Red Dead Redemption?

    Yes that's the one! Thanks.

Porting games to PC is relatively easy, the bonus for developers and publishers is they don't have to pay Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo, so they make as much as the can on consoles then porting to PC is just extra cash. Its simply bad economics to leave money out there on the PC.
