  11. at the moment ive got 130+ series that are dual audio and about 150+ subbed anime and 100+ ova/movies that ive finished. favorites are hard to pick out as they all are memorable for one reason or another but my fav genre would have to be the harem/comedy they are so wicked and hilarious
  12. anime unlike normal cartoons gives you the rush of feelings you dont normally get without the revulsion of live tv shows and movies that are designed to provoke the same feelings . to many tv shows pomote a violent and disturbing look at the world around us unlike anime which shows us the same things but from a perspective that allows us to comprehend it without the shock value most tv shows aim for
  13. well lets see ................. started at around 11pm aest with venu verses virus (again ) and its 6:20am aest now, finished the series need more of an ending or new series , read 5 chapters of Nurarihyon no Mago online and played an mmo so far if i didnt have an appointment this afternoon i'd prob still be reading/watching for another few hours BUT if i need a number it would be atleast 3-4hrs nightly possibly more

    Anime or Manga?

depends on what i can get hold of i'll watch the anime if possible then read the manga or if i find a manga thats interesting i'll read that first and look for an anime version yeah i know long winded way of saying either is good for me
  18. i tend to watch a few at a time but the last ones have been bleach 234 engdub , resurrection princess dualaudio , sekirei pure engagement dualaudio and rosario + vampire capu dualaudio (finished last 3 and waiting for more series/episodes of all) bleach is one of the more interesting long anime series ive found the story is engaging , the filler arcs are ok for some background but can get abit annoying, havent really got into the subbed version ( too many others to watch ) resurrection princess is a wonderful mix of most shlock horror movies like frankenstein, dracula, the werewolf with the weird zany things you can only get away with in an anime . the sekirei series are a delightful blend of fighting fantasy and life would you turn your back on a girl that is alone and being attacked ?, would you have helped if you knew she wasnt altogether human and had strange powers ? would you really want to stay at that place after meeting the landlady when she's angry ???? rosario + vampire is a fun enjoyable romp of what life could be like for humans and monsters alike if your lucky
  19. What series needs more seasons to complete the story?.............too many anime leave you feeling its not over yet , the series ends but the story seem to lack last chapter, i would like to see so many anime getting another series to fully complete the stories there in .
  20. I, myself prefer english audio , my son the japanese audio. out of the 140 odd series i have on my HD at the moment about 8 are eng subbed as there isnt a english/dual audio version around, the rest are all dual audio. But i will watch subbed if its interesting enough and look for dual later slowly working through my sons HD of anime that arent dual audio yet
  21. one ive just finished was resurrection princess 24episodes +2 ova's, left a weird feel at the end , as though something was missing and the 2 ova's didnt help they were fun but not connected to the series storyline. otherwise more anime is always good and welcomed
  22. sekirei 2nd season pure engagement has been reased in dual audio
  23. alot depends on who produced the orginal anime and which one did the english voices. ive watched some japanese anime where the voices blended into a continuous blur (male and female characters ended up sounding so similar) and some where the voices were fitting to the characters and show. with the dual audio being available for most new dvd/bluray it lets you decide , some series benefitted from an english sound, others weren't as lucky , it all depends on who does them and which voice actors are used in the end
  24. browse through some online manga sites to see what is interesting by genre or just randomly google those that interest you and check for anime wiki links to see more info
