  1. What I meant to say Mute, was the heart cannot function properly without the lungs. Common knowledge that the right side of the heart is oxygen poor, the left side is oxygen rich. Without oxygen and glucose, your body doesn't not produce AdenosineTriPhosphate (ATP); which leads me into the point of the brain needing another source of energy to function as all the internal organs of a normal human anatomy (and also regulate) the human brain.
  2. With the federal government: I will fall in line With the state government: I will fall in line With my boss who talks shit and makes me miserable: I will fall in line Example, I got a speeding ticket the other day for doing 81 in a 65. Although I was not at fault technically, because the guy behind me was riding my ass. It is my duty as a driver to merge right when possible to allow the faster flow of traffic to maintain their current pace. So I get around this big rig, and on the other side a cop and sitting waiting. I explained this to him, he wrote up the ticket. Now I could try to fight him, but I think I would end up in jail. And I could fight the ticket, but I will most likely lose. Basically, the only person I can fight is someone who threatens me or my family, a normal citizen. The rest of the government is just puppets, like the president--in my mind they all work for a bigger corportion similar to Bilderberg (in other words our votes don't mean sh^$#).
  3. 1) a porno mag -- hey i am a man and a man has needs 2) a carton of cigarettes -- who cares about cancer when i'll be dead soon? 3) a gun loaded with one bullet -- a whole new meaning to death poker Edit: as for option 2, I can build a fire out of twigs XD
  4. That is very admirable of you, I have worked on several cadavers which were donated to science. Their selfless act has given students like me invaluable hands on experience, and also helped advance medical science. A lot of people don't know they can still have a service for their loved one even after their body has been donated to science. I for one like the thought of being buried in a casket constructed of plastic or copper, which will survive the elements almost indefinitely (h20, soil decaying elements). Not sure if I like the idea of my body being poked/prodded by students myself, but it does have a positive impact.
  5. If you had a choice of your method of disposition, which would you choose and why? Would you choose cremation because it is inexpensive? Would you prefer to buried in the ground? Is this for a religious reason? Or do you plain not care (throw me in a garbage can)? One fact is certain, either we will choose or someone else will decide the fate of our body after death.
  6. The brain is nothing without the vital organ systems feeding it: The arteries of the heart supply it with important nutrients--blood, oxygen, diffusion of h20 across permeable membranes of our cells. The veins remove waste products (CO2, ect;) where it is eventually filtered through the digestive system or urinary tract. The heart doesn't beat without the lungs, therefore no O2 would be fed to the brain which leads to asphyxia followed by death. And no CO2 waste products would be distrubted out of the lungs also causing adverse reactions with the amino acids of the body. The brain also wouldn't react without the nervous system or motor neurons (nerves) that integrate the body and fire off innately/purposefully. Without a vessel (our body) the brain is nothing.
  7. In my opinion, age is definitely a factor in a lasting marriage. Physically, men don't fully finish developing until after they are 21, whereas women are finished maturing as early as age 16. Age also brings wisdom, someone is more likely to know who they are at this point (be set in their ways). I chose 25-35, but only because there was no 30 + option. Financial stress is the leading cause for divorce in the US, and most people change careers at least 6 times in their lifetime. People who are age 30 + are usually established in a career/trade and have financial stability (due to work experience and hard life lessons).
  8. She seems expendable to me. I can envision her dying and the creator showing clips of all the people she watched die over the years (Her lover, her brother); she later rejoins Naruto in spirit form and pops up when the opportunity to reminisce appears. Hell, Naruto's got a collection of dead visitors throughout the show it seems, rather he's aware of it or not is a different story.
  9. Depends on who you're eating! Watch this video: http://www.spike.com/video-clips/2taiz8/manswers-cannibals Edit: Also, in fairness to Zombies, they know not what they do.
  10. Skyrim is the game to get. The series has so much freedom for character development. First game to have me excited in years, being I am not a 1st person shooter kinda guy (although I will swap between 1st and 3rd person on Skyrim). Anyone who played Morrowind or Obilivion knows this game is going to be awesome.
  11. Couldn't agree more. The characters back stories are very well detailed, if someone can get through the initial talking in the beginning, it becomes a very good game. Sucks I have a scratch on disk 2 that inhibits me from continuing a previous save. I am stuck at the 4 statutes collecting bird eggs, and the bird refuses to drop.
  12. They already withhold/cut salaries of our troops proportional to their injury sustained in war. This would be an outrage to me. The paper peddlers working on capital hill are the one's who we should consider giving furloughs to; not the troops who put their lives on the line everyday.
  13. The Korowai tribe of south-eastern Papua could be one of the last surviving tribes in the world engaging in cannibalism, although there have been media reports of soldiers/rebels in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Liberia eating body parts. Anthropologists look at this scenario with cultural relativism, this use to be a rite of passage for some cultures. According to Manswers, Japanese people taste the best due to their low intake of sodium and perservatives. Personally, if the decision came between dying of starvation or eating a human, I would eat the human, if they were dead of course. I'd have me some tasty Japanese.
  14. I support the Human Rights Movement. I am not gay, and I believe in God. 1. Religion has no place in this discussion Christianity in America should not try to conform the ways of the world by force or tongue. God did not stop men from doing their evil deeds, Jesus did not stop Judas or his own crucifixion. God has given all free-will, it is up to THEM to follow his suggested path. Believers are to be a light in the darkness, but not to "throw pearls before swine"-Mat 7:6 (aka nonbelievers). So why do people think it necessary to preach to people who openly reject it? If Homosexuality is an open sin, why preach about sanctity of marriage to deaf ears? Jesus said himself "it is better for a man not to marry"-Mat: 19:10. And that means for a man and woman. But he knew the flesh was weak, so he allowed them to do so. As for open sin, Jesus did not force the hookers to stop hooking, or the tax collecters to stop stealing from the poor. "I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."--John 17: 14-16 Are Christians trying to stop the inevitable on this perpetual cestpool, as the coming of hell has been prophesized in the book Revelations? If so, why? Is their faith so little that they just use religion as a crutch to spread hate? 2. A legitimate argument would be something like: "Partnerships" don't receive the tax breaks of a bona fide marriages. Giving gays the sanctity of a legal marriage extends to them the same tax-cuts as heterosexual marriages. This hurts the economy. 3. Gross does not constitute a valid argument to restrict someone from personal freedom. If a man wants to eat a piece of shit and post it on the internet, then that's his business! Now you may believe that it is harmful, and tell him it's bacteria infested; but he still has the right to do as he pleases with his life. 4. Don't make ignorant comments about AIDS. The disease is not predisposed to homosexuals, it is a pandemic that is actually predisposed to drug IV users, unprotected sex, and areas of sub-Saharan Africa. In 2001, of the 5 million cases dealing with AIDS 800,000 of them were children. According to World Health Report, (2002), the 10 leading causes of death in US and Africa in 2000: USA--AIDS is not even in the top 10; Africa-- it is the 2nd leading cause of death behind Parasitic infections.
  15. No, because all the former Hokage's in power have incredible ability, Sakura is below average at best. Tsunade training her doesn't say much. She is the least impressive Hokage, with exception to her massive healing ability granted via her summon. Only things Sakura will lead to: Head of Sasuke's knob or the Medical Ninjustu unit
  16. To me this question is a no-brainer. Kakashi has died/or almost died how many times now? 1. Zabuza: Water Prison Technique + Water clone had Kakashi (if not for Naruto/Sasuke) 2. Itachi: Tsukuyomi Genjutsu put Kakashi in a coma (could have easily killed him if he wanted) 3. Kakuza: Earth Grudge Fear form + Fire and Wind Element combo (until Naruto/Yamato intervened w/ Typhoon Water Vortex Technique) 4. Pain's Deva Path and Asura Path: Repulsion + Impalement suceeded in killing him (life source drained saving Choji) Conclusion: Even though Sasuke is made overated for Naruto's opposition. I think Kakashi should have more badass moments like how he ripped off Deidara's arm w/ Mangekyō Sharingan: Kamui. Koby is right, Kakashi vs Sasuke is like watching Mike Tyson against Betty White.
  17. Sasuke dying for Naruto seems a bit cliché of an ending. Becoming reacquainted with Konoha should involve lots of crawling, ass-licking, and grunt work. Forgiveness = Trust = "Earned" (3 word not in Sasuke's vocabulary, especially the last one).
  18. 3 characters I am most fond of: Kakazu : bad ass attitude + obsession for profit--"Time to collect my bounty". Outfit Shreddar-like. Orichimaru: best biography + reptile forms his body would take + best/most believable villain so far Fukasaku + Toads from Mount Myōboku: made/make Jiraiya/Naruto seem cooler/wiser Fukasaku = Infusion of Mr. Miyagi/Yoda.
  19. Let me just say, although I am all for people who have severe pain (cancer other pathological diseases) and smoke weed. But, I also admire people who are "above the influence"; just not people who believe they are superior because of it.
  20. I do work for a funeral home as a pallbearer (part-time), and I am a full-time college student. I am in the last year of my mortuary college (program takes 3 years). I realize how precious life is, I am grateful to be a participant of it.
  21. No doubt in my mind Naruto will always believe that Sakura loves Sasuke. Therefore, I say he ends up with Hinata. Only way I see Sakura and Naruto ending up together is if she is forced to choose who to heal between the two. Naruto won't be convinced of her love for him otherwise, but it's obvious she loves Sasuke.
  22. Rock Lee would be my pick, Naruto belongs with Hinata, and I think Sasuke needs some time to find himself (a.k.a. pulling his head out of his @ss).
  23. Everyone can feel the show building up to an epic battle between Sasuke and Naruto. Even Sasuke himself claims that one of them will die when they meet face-to-face. But if Sasuke loses and ends up living, will he return to the leaf? Or is he forever doomed to a life of "The True Avenger"? I think he can still be persuaded to return, and a new enemy will emerge the alpha villian. What's your take?
