  1. Thx a heap so far guys! Definitely going to try Trinity Blood (hate megaupload, but what can you do eh? lol), looks good :)

Any chance for some links on:

    Blood+

    Claymore

    Blue Gender

    Higurashi When They Cry &

    Toward the Terra

Pls???? :) Personally I have no issue with subs, even enjoy them tbh. Those ones seem like great places to start!

Oh, thx for suggesting Cowboy Bebop. One of my best mates has all of it and keeps trying to convince me of the joys ... I watched enough to loose interest and started suggesting creative bodily insertions every time he offered there after lol :P

  2. Nope it's a TV series where each season will be based on a whole book. Next season is already planned to air next year.

Thx Koby! After seeing that in the credits that it was based of the first book, I mostly lost interest (that and I'm a little squeamish about incest), but if they're doing the whole series, and Sean Bean keeps up his great work in it that he's done from what little I HAVE seen ... then I'll steal the rest from my flatmate lol.

  3. 1. The Crow (most amazing love story ever made in a movie!)

    2. Dark City

    3. Leon: The Professional

    4. Rocky Horror Picture Show (can't help it, dad was in the original touring band)

    5. Alien II

    6. The Last Samurai

    7. Pitch Black (Feel free to drop in the other 2 Riddick flics lol)

    8. Tokyo Drift (I learnt to drive on outback (Aussie) roads. I understand drifting lol

    9. Salute of the Jugger (obscure Rutger Hauer movie)

    10. How to tame your Dragon

  4. Fade to Black (from Ride the Lightning)

    Sanitarium (from Master of Puppets)

I like most of the Black album, but I agree with most of my friends. Metallica pretty much sold after that. their music changed big, their attitudes to their fans changed bigger, the became less focused on the music and more on the almighty dollar. Was a sad sad day for rock when it happened to such an amazing band. :(

  5. Heya.

Right off the bat let me state I like things dark, brutal, bloody, violent and with a hint of sexual innuendo. Hel, throw in sex if you like, I'm 40 w 2 kids so I think I know what goes where :P

I'm basically looking for a new series to watch. Mayhaps even the odd movie here or there.

    Books read:

Pick it from Sci-Fi and Fantasy Fiction and I've likely read it tbh. Refer to the above for my tastes in manga lol. (Eg? Really wish they'd release the second season of Tokko onto anime!)

    Music:

I'm told my taste is "eclectic". I have bright happy chirpy stuff, gothic metal, standard metal, pop, dance, etc. Love Rammstein, Seether, Christina Aguilera (told you! lol), NiN, Pink Floyd ... don't think I need to on anymore about all that.

    Roleplay/Games:

Currently Larping in Mage, have played in Forsaken, used to run a Vampire. About to go old school and play Rifts and thoroughly enjoying a dungeon crawl in 4e DnD :P

Was playing EvE Online for 3+ years, currently playing League of Legends. Less intensive, more time for other stuff...remember those kids I mentioned?

    Onto the anime!

    Watched and own:

Ghost in the Shell (all available). Love it

    Hellsing + OVA's. Love it

Darker then Black (all available). Love it

Deadman Wonderland (to date). Love it

Bleach (to date). Yeah, used to love it, now? Ummmm

Fairy Tail. Love it - Great to watch w my girls! :)

    Freezing. Love it (yeah yeah)

High School of the Dead. Lost it's way in there somehow

    Death Note. Love it

Seikon No Qwaser (all available). Undecided tbh

Soul Eater. Got frustrating towards the end

Black Cat. Haven't finished it tbh, not even sure I want

Black Blood Brothers. Enjoyed it, left me feeling like I'd eaten McDonald's tho

Code Geass. Gundam meets Dune huh? Bad bad bad ending

Elfen Lied. Tell me there's more coming out and I'll be a happy man

    Tokko. Needs more!!

    D. Gray Man. Love it, needs more though.

Angel Beats. I confess I cried at the end ... call me a girl, get it over with :P

FMA. Started, got puzzled with FMA:B and stopped. Still puzzled.

The Familiar of Zero. Cute ... daughters remember? lol

Akira. Everyone's seen it tho :P

Hellgirl. Just started to watch it, still unsure

Evangalion I use it to torture people :P

    Outright wasn't fussed with:

    Battlegirls

Level E (only watched 1 episode tho)

    Dragon Crisis

    Dragon Drive

    The World God only Knows

Got a few others, but they're packed away atm and I can't recall what they are.

Need my movie choices? Let me know. Otherwise, hope I gave you all enough info to hopefully give me some advice and some good choices!

    Thanks in advance :)

  6. So what IS the actual name of this new Arc btw? :s

As for ending it all after Bleach, I like that they didn't. There are still so many questions, so much more character fleshing out (or filling up, your choice) and things to explain for it all to be over yet. Don't know about anyone else, but I go absolutely batshite when they close off a series without giving me my answers :P

  7. Border line stalker? roflmao Dude, try total stalker :P

Personally I like her. Great shikai (completely lethal) ... bizarre Bankai (anyone else noticed how few shinigami actually like their swords abilities?), and she doesn't rely completely on just the blade, or magic. Gotta love a well rounded woman ... especially one in love with a well curved one :P

  8. 1) Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni

    2) Kuchiki Byakuya

    3) Zaraki Kenpachi

    4) Unohana Retsu (has to be a very good reason she scares the other captains)

    6) Kyouraku Shunsu (worrying when another Cptn tells you NOT to use your Bankai)

    7) Ukitake Jyuushiro (he and Kyouraku were ready to go head to head w the old man)

    8) Hitsugaya Toushiro

    9) Soi Fong (would have loved to rate her higher ... but *shrug*)

    10) Komamura Sajin

    11) Kurotsuchi Mayuri

    12) Tousen Kaname

Note: Haven't rated Gin for a good reason and Ichigo, well, he fought both Kenpachi and Byakyua and won so *shrug*

  9. I'd say you guys are being a bit harsh. Almost everyone else in the series is beyond human and completely dedicated to what they're doing (for whatever reasons they might be). Orihime brings a very human, emotional element to the story. True her powers aren't massive and scary. No sword of complete doomnation. True, she gets in the way and stop them from killing all the time. But she also reminds her friends what it is that they fight for. Humanity, emotions, feelings, friendship, love, etc.

Not my favorite character, but I can easily see what role she plays in the greater scheme. :)
