zx0
Once you have set up your IRC client you will need to connect to the Xertion network (irc.xertion.org).When you have connected to the network you will get some message of the day like this.If you get this message then someone else has already registered your nick. You will have to choose a different nick:-NickServ- This nickname is registered and protected. If it is your-NickServ- nick, type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password. Otherwise,-NickServ- please choose a different nick.If you do get the above message, type /nick Newnick to change your nick. Keep changing until you get a nick that is not registered (bold and italic are your inputs).Once you have a nick you like, type the following to register it so no-one else can use your nick./msg nickserv register Password EmailYou will then receive an email to verify that you want to register your nick, you must copy and paste the confirmation into the server window in IRC. It will be in the form /msg NickServ confirm CODE.That's it, you're done!Whenever you log onto the Xertion network you need to identify with your password that you own the nick you use./msg nickserv identify passwordYou will get confirmation from nickserv.-NickServ- Password accepted - you are now recognized. You can set most IRC clients to auto identify you in the network or options menu of the client. Please refer to the client specific guide for your OS below.LinuxMacWindows

Reptoholic
I am using a mac and I have finally gotten connected to xChat Azure, but how do I connect to Xertion network. I got to the last screen on the other tutorial, but that's where you lost me.

I got to the last screen on the other tutorial, but that's where you lost me.I think you're in the wrong thread, this is the one I think you're talking about: http://forums.kametsu.com/showthread.php?t=33502. If it is ask the question there. But the last time I checked you were connected to the channel, and even asked a question on the channel (I came back 10 minutes later and you left), so you're connecting to Xertion.
