Ripping from Amazon Video

38 posts in this topic

Hi everyone,
do you have something for Amazon Video? I've a premium subscription that has been renewed automatically (ugh), but i discover in the same time Amazon Video German. And the full 4 seasons of Digimon are available for ""free"", & I want to save this.

Thanks in advance!

(if you have something for Netflix too...)

There is a tool wrote by russian guy and published on HDB tracker which allows you to do WEB-DL from Amazon Video.

The name of the file is "wvstream".

Usage: wvstream.exe "mpdurl" "licurl" "file.mov" {"proxy (or none)" "eng" "1920" "1080"  "15000000" "640000"  }

How do you get the manifest and license urls?

Before you open page with video - open Developer Tools and go to Network tab (F12 in Chrome), then in search box type: "mpd|widevine" and tick "Regex" option.

mpdurl = URL ending with .mpd (change https to http)

licurl = URL starting with GetPlaybackResources

I downloaded it from somewhere, already compiled.

It requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and opensll libraries installed and according to other people comments it doesn't work on every title now (in UK Amazon version just a few titles works properly, but US should be fine).

@cryztalar

I just compressed files which I have (already with openssl libraries) using WinRAR and uploaded it to ZippyShare.

Download link: http://www102.zippyshare.com/v/OmV1WzJT/file.html

VirusTotal scan: https://virustotal.com/pl/file/952849c176bdf2897a6c57900664ccc89c3653d349f6292ef75858d9e38c7646/analysis/1481809248/

Password: kametsu.com

Remember: this tool requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 installed

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=44914

It will NOT work on every title and it's recommended to use US/DE Amazon version.

Today I tested it on UK Amazon version by downloading title which I purchased before and it seems working:

When tool finish downloading an error will occur, but don't worry that's ok.

After that all you have to do is import this file to MKVMerge and mux it.

Amazon knows about wvstream and have changed their encryption keys. New shows wont work with and Amazon are updating some of their more popular older releases as well.

Most stuff from Amazon Prime will not work now (when the tool have been relased it worked on Amazon Prime titles too).

Now usually you have to buy it and then if it says "You own this Movie in HD" you will be able to download it.

Recently I downloaded 3 titles which I purchased before without errors.

#EDIT

This title works, so you can check it:

You have to open "cmd.exe" and navigate to wvstream folder using "cd" commands and then run wvstream with parameters, screenshot:

Hello all.

I was noticing this thread is about Amazon Video ripping.

I have a question completely based on this topic.

7Plus from Channel 7 in Australia seems to be using DASH just like Amazon Video.

For example if you go to the following video:

https://au.tv.yahoo.com/plus7/what-went-down/-/watch/33366365/what-went-down-mon-12-dec-season-1-episode-40/#page1

You can get the following info:

https://yahoo7pdash-a.akamaihd.net/2376984108001/2376984108001_5258841828001_5258816577001.mpd

https://wvlic.brightcove.com/proxy/5258816577001 - License

Yet no matter what I do I just get the following from wvstream:

Info: Successfully parsed .mpd file. Download speed: 2314Bytes/s
Info: Video representation: bandwidth: 2189790
last segment:0
ERROR: Could not prepare video stream

I know for a fact I have the correct info as Kodi has a 7Plus addon and the video plays instantly.

So I'm trying to use wvstream too, but it seems to hang forever on "INFO: Waiting for incoming connections" and google isn't helping much... I tried allowing it through my firewall, but no change. Does that mean it's one of the shows it won't work on? Should I keep spending time on it? I've been messing with it on and off for about a week...

Sorry to bump an old thread, but if there's any advice that'd be helpful, but I'd really like to know how to do this. Thanks for the lead.

Your zippyshare link appears to be DEAD.  Would you mind re-uploading it?

Thanks  :ewhz:
