Koby
The wraparound jacket band on Shō Hinata's Naruto Konoha Shinden Yukemuri Ninpō-chō novel volume is announcing on Thursday that a television anime adaptation of three Naruto Hiden/Shinden (Hidden Story/True Story) epilogue stories will air this coming winter. The television anime will adapt Takashi Yano's Shikamaru Hiden (Shikamaru's Story, pictured right), Hinata's Konoha Hiden (Konoha's [Hidden] Story), and Shin Towasa's Sasuke Shinden (Sasuke's Story). Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will reveal more information. Since Masashi Kishimoto ended the main Naruto ninja manga in November 2014, Shueisha has published at least 10 novel volumes based on the franchise. There are six volumes in the Hiden (Hidden Story) series so far, and each volume revolves around a different character or characters (Kakashi, Shikamaru, Gaara, Sakura, the Akatsuki organization, and other ninja in Konoha). Viz Media has published Naruto: Kakashi's Story, Naruto: Shikamaru's Story, and Naruto: Sakura's Story. The Shinden novel series contains three volumes so far. The two Itachi Shinden volumes shipped last year and inspired this year's arc of the Naruto Shippūden television anime series. Shueisha published Sasuke Shinden volume last year, and Viz plans to publish it as Naruto: Sasuke's Story - Sunrise next spring. Shueisha also published the Naruto: Dojunjō Ninden (Naruto: The Tale of the Utterly Purehearted Shinobi) volume last August.
Kid Ryan
Awesome news, though Viz Media will probably skip dubbing these.
