Oh may I also loved that game before I knew the internet exists, it was very entertaining. And like the ones whose very first console was a ps1 I grew up with crash bandicoot and spyro. And i played arcade too and the favs are metal slug, snow bros, dinosaurs and cadillacs, tumble pop. Also the megaman series, mario series, pokemon... My favorite sprite-based game has to be Link's Awakening, though. It's easily my favorite Zelda game, and it has some of the best music the series has ever offered up. Anon316 Posted April 19, 2016 Report Share Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) Sonic the hedgehog 3: A great standalone game by itself, but you also had the option to insert the cartridge into Sonic and Knuckles for extended gameplay becoming Sonic 3 in knuckles. You could also do this for both Sonic the hedgehog 1 and 2. Super Street Fighter II: The new challengers. The street fighter II series was so popular in general that it has been released on nearly every single console in some way shape or form. Pokemon Crystal: Having played Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow, then playing Gold/Silver/Crystal which gives you the option of time, day/night cycle, the ability to rebattle trainers via phone and different pokeballs for specific type pokemon. The story takes place 3 years after Red/Blue/Yellow where you have the option to explore the Kanto region once again as an end game bonus and even battle the character Red who you once played as was a great addition.
