Exiku Posted October 27, 2011 Report Share Posted October 27, 2011 I've only just started watching this (at much insistence from my bro) What took me so long was that I loved the old series when growing up, and didn't know how I felt watching the reboot with the person behind PowerPuff Girls heading it...though she also did Fosters and I finally gave in. I've only watched the first two episodes so far and I really like it - it's kind of hard to pick a favourite among the ponies, since they all stand out...but Fluttershy ranks near the top.Though seeing Nightmare Moon's true form, makes me wonder about Princess Celestia... My Little Pony should not be entertaining to anyone other than a 4 year old girl. But somehow they pulled it off, and it never fails to make me laugh. It is like watching a master magician pull off a trick you just can't figure out. You just *know* a show about pastel colored magic ponies should be too annoying to bear, but somehow it is amazingly entertaining. I have respect for Lauren Faust.
