Koby
'Two and a Half Men' to return without Angus T. JonesCBS confirmed today that Two and a Half Men has been renewed for its 11th season. However, the long-running sitcom will no longer be sporting its titular half man when it comes back in the fall. The highest-paid actors on television, Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher inked new one-year deals to return for another season. Reports estimate Kutcher's salary around $700,000 per episode, while Cryer earns slightly less.Angus T. Jones, who has played young Jake since the age of 10, will not return as a regular character, but he may appear in a recurring role. Instead of starring on the show, the 19-year-old actor will follow through on his plans to attend college, which he delayed after signing a one-year contract extension last year. His character had already been reduced to sporadic appearances via Skype, so it shouldn't be a major loss. Last fall, Jones made headlines when he recorded a religious testimonial video posted on YouTube deriding Two and a Half Men as "filth" and declared that he wanted to leave the show. After a public apology to producers, crew, and fellow cast members, Jones returned to work for the remainder of the season.
Koby
'Two and a Half Men’ adds Charlie Harper's long lost daughter as series regular Two and a Half Men lost its mini-man at the end of last season, with Angus T. Jones not returning as a series regular. As I don’t think the show had any intention of changing its title to just “Two Men”, they were in need of a new character to fill Jones’ vacant spot. Instead of going with another strange and awkward man-child, the series has decided to resurrect a little bit of Charlie Harper – in the form of his long-lost daughter. When the series returns for its eleventh season, fans will be introduced to the poor girl who was unfortunate enough to be the spawn of Charlie Harper, albeit, from a few decades ago. Charlie’s daughter, a young woman in her late teens or early 20’s, will waltz her way up to Walden Schmidt’s (Ashton Kucther) door to proclaim that she has come to look for daddy dearest. As I am sure you all predicted, she will end up moving in with Walden and her uncle Alan Harper (Jon Cryer), who will surely be looking for another young mind to ‘mold’ with the absence of his son. The role of little lady Harper has yet to be cast, but CBS is actively looking for a young woman with the right look and attitude to fill the role. Who do you think would be a good pick?
