johnmor
Hey all, I really appreciate the recommendations. I'll finish Ergo Proxy first, then move to something else.... Anything else like Future Diary with a battle royale our something like Steins;Gate with a great pseudo-sci-fi story? Are any of the above specifically in that category? Monkey D Luffy4
If you have not watched Detective conan then you should watch it is very strategical and mystey show, but it is not Sci - fi .yow should avoid watching its filler.I also recently finished watching it, it took me entirely almost a year, but now when i think about the calculating mind of main character i think it was worth it Edited October 20, 2015 by Rahhil1191
dakoslug
Have you watched Higurashi? A really cool thriller/horror. You have to watch both seasons to completely understand what happened though
sk8erlasek6
I was curious if anyone had seen Gangster yet and if it was any good? Im just waiting for the dub.
kellcooz
I'm new to this site, but I've had my share of watching anime (going on a 2 year anime downloading spree). I've mostly been focusing on short series ones (12-13 episodes), though I've seen some that run anywhere from 26-50 episodes. So far, I've been looking into harem anime and the ones I'm looking forward with a Dual Audio are Dragonar Academy, Sky Wizards Academy, Mayo Chiki, Outbreak Company, Machine Doll, Kamisama Dolls, Kamisama Kiss 2nd season, Absolute Duo, Golden Time (50-50 dub chance), etc.. just to name a few.
Hicks
If you liked Elfen Lied and could actually take its whiplash-tastic switches between cutesy moe and graphic violence/drama/melodrama, you might like Higurashi. Just be sure to watch both the first two seasons, and nothing of the later follow-ups. I see you were luke-warm on Claymore, but hey, Berserk doesn't have a whiney male protagonist, it has a bitchy tsundere supporting character/romantic interest instead. I see you were luke-warm on Black Lagoon. Maybe you'd like or be luke-warm on Cowboy Bebop or Outlaw Star. Random suggestions - Last Exile and Dirty Pair (the original series).
Sutako
I'd suggest any of Gen Urobuchi's work, like Fate/Zero, Psycho-Pass, Madoka, etc.

Any suggestions? @johnmor Well there's two ways I can recommend anime to you I can A sit here and type out a crap ton of them or B I can just link you my MAL page and you pick anything from my completed list that's 9 or above. Those are my best recommendations. If you have any questions about any of them feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll explain further to the best of my ability and memory chances are I've watched them a while ago so things may be starting to slip. http://myanimelist.net/animelist/LeonAstreal Edited November 23, 2015 by Leon Astreal
dollarhero
Going by your list, i would definately recommend Shinsekai Yori. It blew my mind! I consider this and Stein's Gate at same epicness level.
Beast
Most people are likely to miss out 'One Outs' in their recommendations. Its a good watch. Check it out. I'm sure you'll like it. Also if you're into gaming anime as some one already mentioned 'No Game;No Life' I have a mixed feeling about 'Sword Art Online' but be sure to check that out. Next you can try Legend of Korra but first watch The Last Airbender to have a better connection with the Avatar universe. TLA may be boring at times, but it's worth it considering Legend of Korra.
