pistons50
I started Naruto a long time ago and I just got back into recently. I am almost caught up on it. I only watch the show I do not read. The only other anime I ever watched besides Naruto was DBZ. So I am wondering which direction I should go from here? I have heard Bleach, Fairytail and gurren lagann were alright.
StaticX
"Where to go after Naruto?" A better anime Perhaps?
henecore
As someone who just watched through FMA, Soul Eater, Bleach, One Piece and Naruto in that order, I would highly recommend One Piece and then Bleach. Soul Eater was good but short, won't last you long. FMA was pretty decent as well but I have heard that FMA Brotherhood is much better. I am now going to back track and watch DBZ as I had never seen it before Edited March 26, 2015 by henecore

Gurren Lagann is pretty short compared to others. If you really like "Ninja" anime, I might suggest Senran Kagura.
DarkGanta
FMA was pretty decent as well but I have heard that FMA Brotherhood is much better. Not sure why so many people talk as if one is 100% better. The first part of the original series is much more detailed and follows the earlier manga so I would always suggest watching the original first and then Brotherhood unless you just really want to rush through some series. AOIsama
I highly recommend One Piece, Bleach, Attack on Titan, FMA Brotherhood, Hunter X Hunter, and Fairy Tail. My all time faves will always be DBZ and Naruto. If you also decide to start reading manga, you might wanna try Tokyo Ghoul. In my opinion the manga is much better than the anime.

My fav will always be dbz and naruto too. Those are the only ones I have ever seen all the way through, I am finally starting to open up my variety. I was thinking of starting to get into managa. I will have to give tokyo ghoul a look. Where do you read manga from? I will only do it if its free. I would also love to have it on my phone or at least ipad. You can read manga on mangafox.me, mangashare.com and manga.animea.net, though I don’t think you should read it on your phone unless you plan to use magnifying glass while you’re at it. As for the anime recommendations, if you’ve liked DBZ than you will enjoy Yu Yu Hakusho. Another one that no one else have mentioned yet is Rurouni Kenshin. badman
If you've only seen Naruto, you probably havent yet found your niche in the anime world. It might be that you'll stick with shonen action titles, waifu anime, shojo, mecha, comedies, or go on to more psychological stuff like Lain or Paranoia Agent, etc... --or simply want to see everything and understand its acclaim or lack thereof (my goals). Just watch whatever you want Edited April 9, 2015 by Badman
