What's better for me get from cowboy bebop

I guess you're limited by space/bandwidth? Whatever is smallest in that case. None of the releases you mentioned are any good video and audio wise. OZC would have the better subs, but no one watches Cowboy Bebop subbed since it is the only good English dub ever done.

What about Black Lagoon?

OZC is best my choice, they did a great job redoing the titles as well. If you're looking for grain, then not so much i guess.

I know where this is going....

Anyway, i'm just going to agree that Bebop is a good dub, and we'll just leave it at that

I'm glad that funimation license it but it times their logo gets annoying on it I prefer their old logo. I remember two years ago my friend has school rumble English dub two seasons I think he told me that he ripped it their YouTube videos and he asked if I liked the school rumble I said yeah I watch it when it was on Netflix dub version and he said here you can have the episodes of the two seasons of it if you don't like the funimation watermark on the bottom right but you can't see it at times cause it looks like its invisible

Did noone except me encode the new U.S Bluray? I thought someone would have jumped on that as soon as it was released. At 960x720 CRF 18 10bit it's about 19gb. 24gb with the movie included  Too large for me to upload at the the moment,

I personally prefer the Bandai Ent. typeface to the Funimation one, in the ED at least. https://twitter.com/ozcanime/status/293183795123855360/photo/1

The opening credits are fine for me either way, however the new font doesn't at all reflect the ending's serious tone.

I would never have noticed that. Interesting. Also random thought in your screenshots did you notice the black on the sides? I always have to look carefully to make make sure I crop those out when encoding. I'm super pissed at myself for not noticing until episode 21.

The rest of the show fills the whole frame

I know that's what got me so I didn't check the ED. Some animes have it and some don't I don't know why. But in order to make sure I crop right I have to check the OP middle and ED. And it's not always the same, it changes because the OP or ED also changes. Its also in FLCL screenshot posted above.
