I need some help of how to use aegisub

I'm trying to add English sign/ titles for fullmetal alchemist brotherhood dub I'm using coalgirls but they hit and miss in some episodes and I know they're some english sign/title but they put their watermark logo and I understand why they do it cause people steal their links trying to make people to think theirs but I'm not like that those people

In my experience with FMAB there was usually only 0 to 2 signs at most per episode that would require a basic typeset. Most of the time they were just like the name of the location the people were at when it jumped to another scene so... FMAB isn't a hard show to work on at all.

As for a seperate sign/song track. Just use NotePad or NotePad++ after extracting the full dialogue subs and remove all the dialogue lines from it and save as a new file. Then just mux it into the video when your done and voila.

really please show me some examples and don't get me wrong I liked dub version of fmab and some anime in dub as well

Ok from this I gather you are looking for an separate english sign/title track (i.e. no dialog) and you want to use coalgirls script?? I ran out of breath halfway through.

 

Open the video up with Aegisub, and select the subtitle track (should only be one if you are using coalgirls' release). Then click Subtitle > Sort All Lines > Style Name. Highlight all the lines marked Dialog (or sometimes Default) and delete them. Then click Subtitle > Sort All Lines > Start Time and save the subtitles as Signs/Titles or what ever. 

 

@Koby, I haven't had good experience with editing subtitles with Notepad, especially when there are tons of lines caused by kfx on top of your dialogue and signs. Notepad takes forever to load the subtitles and its quite tedious to select and delete all those dialog lines while making sure not to delete the signs along with them.

That's true
