Something I do and which really works is DO NOT READ THE ANIME DESCRIPTION. ITS ALWAYS DIFFERS FROM THE CORE OF THE ANIME. What I do is select a show (from iTunes or recommendation tab from any good anime i already know in myanimelist). search google images as 'show-name episode', eg, 'Soul Eater episode'. This will show you episode screenshots of the show. By this you can deduce whether or not you will like the artwork Finally, watch atleast 3 episodes to get the feel of the anime. It its good or seems to have good storyline I continue watching elese I try something else.

Clannad, Clannad After Story: Must watch!! Its's a life changing experience Soul Eater: Action and comedy like no other K-On! and its movie: Best anime ever!! Its light hearted, feels very good, great story, music!! Ghost Hunt: Believe me, its an awesome anime. Characters and plot is extremely great.

Well the most distinguishable feature could be, Anime is animation produced in Japan; while cartoons are American or mabe rest of the world. Even though Anime is in Japanese, companies like Funimation, Viz, Sentai Filmworks, etc lincense them and release them by dubbing in English with subtitles for Japanese video text. For example, Tom and Jerry, Ben 10, Justice League, etc are cartoons while Fairy Tail, Bleach, Clannad, Soul Eater, etc are Anime.

yep, I watched the whole thing when i was a kid. Absolutely loved it. I completely forgot about this show. Yeah, Its nowhere to be found. Though iTunes has all the seasons, would definitely buy it. And you should too, its worth it.

one thing i didnt notice as a kid was animation. When I look back on the cartoons i used to love watching as a kid, i think why did i even like this show?

Believe it or not, I never had a chance to watch Star Wars! I finally went ahead and watched Star Wars The Clone Wars. and it simply amazing!! its 3D and the story and visuals are so spectacular. Love it

Just finished watching the Avatar: TAB. Must say, its really good! As for Airbenders, the latest series The Legend of Korra has already aired. Its running its second season, I guess. My thoughts were exactly the same after completing the first series. I am planning to watch the sequel next, so didnt read anything so as not to act as spoilers. I am really looking forward...

Original Ben 10 is definitely my favorite cartoon. Didnt watch AF or UA yet, though planning. But I abasolutely dislike the graphics of newest Ben 10 series, "Ben 10 Omniverse".
