A connection to the audience. If I don't feel connected in some way to one character or another then I quickly lose interest.

Darker Than Black. Found it to be quite interesting. Needed more development of other character's abilities I thought. Would have made it more interesting if Hei didn't always manage to kill everyone so quick.

Spent forever in that game just trying to complete my card collection for Triple Triad. Still haven't done that to this day.
